So far so good I thought.... downloaded the software again - took forever - and went to the slots. Tried to enter cluedo and monopoly but a popup said you had to be a depositing player to enter. and live chat said those games slots where excluded (wich the promotion didnt mention but only roulette and bingo.) ok .... ill play my 20 free spins on the other slots and see if I win anything - then I can play monopoly with the winnings I thougt. BUT .. when spinning the free spins the credit won wasnt recorded or registered in balance nore bonus money. the popup said you had to be a depositing player in order to receive any winnings. So I made a deposit. now i no longer where a non-depositing player so I had no free spins in my account anymore and this is what support answered:

Dear xxxxx

Thank you for contacting Talk@Kingjackpot.co.uk

In the promotional email advertising the 20 free spins, it states in the terms and conditions that the free spins are for non depositing players only.

Also that no real money is won, only after a deposit is made.

Meaning that with the free spins, you will not be able to win any real money.

As you have made a deposit, you will not have any free spins.

As you have made a deposit, on every game played you are able to win real money that can be withdrawn.

Kindest regards,

Host Kiba.

It's very misleading, and it'd definitely leave a bad taste in my mouth and definitely not make me want to deposit.

But, playing devil's advocate - Technically they're ok with sending that, because they never once said that you could keep any winnings. :D

@OP: Why would you post this and then file a PAB on it?

You know very well -- and certainly should have noticed it in the Pitch-A-Bitch FAQ which you claim to have read -- that posting like this basically kills your PAB.

:oops::oops::oops::oops: Im so sorry! dont know what I was thinking. mainly I was too upset to think I belive but that is not an excuse. So sorry once again. can you please delete this post thank you. love

it was a lot of double talk..but it was also how u read it and which way u understood it..:

1. free spins r for non-depositing players only...so as long as u dont deposit u r playing in free play

2.no real money is won only after a deposit.....excatly u r in free mode

3.As you have made a deposit, on every game played you are able to win real money that can be withdrawn....exactly now u r playing for real money and can win real money

nowhere did it say that after making a money deposit what u u win from the 20free spin play would then be transferred over...and that is where they get u ...u just assume that what u win u get to keep after u make a deposit...

u can argue it but they can argue back that nowhere did it say the winnings from free spins would be transfered after depositing...only that after depsiting now u r able to win real money

I got the exact same thing from Bingo Cafe (Leapfrog). It falls in the "too good to be true" class, and I was wondering what the catch might be, and now I know.

Right, off to MGS, and 10,000 free spins at 75 on Munchkins:rolleyes:

This kind of misleading advertising brings the entire industry into disrepute, as they CLEARLY knew how players were going to interpret the mailer, since they are "industry", and know damn well what is meant by a "free spins promotion" - that the winnings from said free spins will transfer into a bonus of some kind.

Worse is the fact the pop-up tricks the player into making a deposit by alluding to it being required to keep any money won from the spins.

In essense, it is a non-promotion, as it ends up being nothing more than the player depositing their own money, and getting to keep what they win from it. This should be taken for granted, it shouldn't need advertising as though it is a "special promo" that you will be allowed to keep your own money!
