Just wanted to share one of my poems.

To all my friends here at Casinomeisterland.. I just wanted to share with you one of my poems.
(This poem has been published by The National society of Poetry, and is listed on a site called poetry.com) it is copywritten and is my own original work which was one piece that I had written after my second brother passed on.)

Two Brothers

On a grassy hill,
Where time stands still,
a Rainbow across the sky.

I see two brothers sit and smile,
They never said goodbye.

For underneath this Rainbow light,
are two spirits so happy and bright.
Two souls which god had meant to be,
together day and night.

This special place was meant to be,
for all of us to see.
However you must first believe,
and someday share with me.​

That was beautiful Mystic. I have some crappy news though. I hate doing this but I dont want you to get ripped off. I happen to be involved with the BBB and poetry.com. They are a scam. It all started when I wrote a poem about my nephew when he died at a very young age. I saw the site and thought "what the hell" Ill submit it.

I get this letter in the regular mail saying they are going to publish my poem and there was no purchase necessary. I thought great! I told my family and 6 months later I got another letter asking me to buy a copy of their book with my poem in it. I called them and told them I would buy a copy when I saw the poem was published

Guess what? In order to get your poem published, you have to buy the book. THats how they make money. The letter that stated no purchase necessary was a lie and I kept a copy of it. I told them what the letter said and they said it didnt exsist. I copied and emailed the "no purchase necessary part" The next thing I know, it's no longer in writing. I called the BBB and they got several complaints and to this day, I still have it somewhere

Dont fall for it, Its a total scam. I still love your poem and you should be proud of it

yes babs. I know that they charge you to buy the book, etc. Which no I will not buy because this poem has also been published with thier photo's at the memorial anniversary in the newspaper, prior to my submitting it to poetry.com. It is copywritten, and I had submitted it years ago.

with all the sad losses that have been posted lately I did want to share it... and it couldn't hurt to win an ipod... right?!

I still get things from them here and there but, first off I can make my own plaques with my poem on them and second off.. I have my own book of poetry with that one in it. So, I don't need to buy thiers. (I would never be foolish enough to pay someone for a copy of my own property... )
But it is a good note for everyone else here who would be interested in that site.. is to be aware, it does get published,, but dont buy the products. I think they publish them all...lol)

The wife is in The National society of Poetry also.
That big book and we paid for one.
They make some great money on that one.
