Jackpot Factory check bounces

My bank called me yesterday while I was at work so I checked my account and saw a check I had deposited from First web bounced! I am expecting 2 more this week and am not happy at all . With the check there is an email contact but they haven't responded back yet and no phone number .

I do hope the next checks will clear, but it's not looking good. Do these casinos (and their processors) have no idea what damage these bad checks do to our accounts?? We're taking a risk anyway, and these rubber checks just set off alarm bells in our banks. :axeman:

Did the bounced check say NSF or something else?
 
I swear if it's not one thing, it's another with this bunch...I can't wait to hear what Brickman has to say about this one, that is if he bothers to reply...
 
Yet more evidence that this group is out of control. Brickman, you're a joke just like your business. Nice to see people are getting the true picture of your site and the bad things that happen when you get in involved with JF. Best group of last year????
 
So sorry to hear this. I stopped accepting checks 2 months ago and now I use Quicktender when I cashout. This is exactly what I was afraid of when I was accepting checks. I hope they fix it for you soon. :)

I don't use this process with casinos, but another question would be do they care? If so, pay the fee's that a bounce check can cause for some people.

I wonder why they have "Last activity:" disabled in their profile. IMO casino reps should be required to have this enabled so we know whether or not it's a waste of time to bother trying to contact them via the forum.

Fortunately, their last post was on the 24th, so hopefully they'll be popping in this thread soon.

I got a response today and was told to redeposit the check . I will have to contact my bank to see if they sent it back to me yet via snail mail. Calling them about this check does not thrill me. There was no mention of the $27 I was charged for their check that bounced so I emailed back . Hope to hear soon as this is their fee really and not mine.

...and yes, in the very least they should compensate you for the fees you're out - either via a ND and no WR "bonus", or another check.

I do hope it clears this time! (Wonder if JPF lets my Mom balance their checkbooks?? :eek:) Keep us posted, Silky. And please hit JPF up for any fees you incurred due to this SNAFU.

For the record... when I was playing again, I'd stopped depositing at JPF because of these payout delays and weirdities... and when/if I deposit again, it won't be there. They have got to get their $hit together for paying US players if they're going to accept our deposits!

silkprint, Who was that response from exactly ?...I'd be cautious if that was just one of the CS Reps telling you that...we all know how much they really know about what goes on, this has been proved time and time again in thread after thread...:eek:

Yes well, I'am having to agree with you know mate, alot of complaints have been coming through the last month or so about this group, in there small defense at least none of the complaints are from none payment.

come on JP get things back on track please, we all like your site just not the headf%$ks....

Might as well be non-payment though same old when their checks bounce...that's the same as non-payment...actually I guess it is non-payment because the check bounced right...
 
I guess I'll hold off depositing any more at Wild Jack and First Web casinos, part of the Jackpot Factory group. I got other issues with Bodog and RiverBelle, as I have about $4000 that is due from them by tomorrow.
 
Well, my bank redeposited and it still hasn't cleared and in my account as of right now . Keeping my fingers crossed.

Well Brickman, we're waiting!! We expect better from the 2007 Best Group award winner. How that happened is a huge mystery to me. JF may as well stand for Just F***'d! Bryan, do you have any more info on this?? When will the warning be posted in the rogue or not recommended section??

If they don't have a statement ready to give, then they need to at least let everyone know it's being worked on. In this case, no news is not good news.
 
Silk, out of curiosity, did your bank tell you the reason for the returned check? nonsufficient funds? Closed account? Stop payment? Probably NSF, since JF asked you to redeposit. But you never know.
