Is EcoCard an option???

Neteller and other financial institutions have to ask those questions to comply with the patriot act, and banking regulations. They pull your credit report and make you verify information on that....It actually works good for both parties. They know for a shadow of a fact that it's you, and helps protects you against identity theft.

Come to think about it, no. They didn't just pull my credit report, they had to pull others' with similar names, histories, etc. It was diligent for sure on their part.
But I was unsettled by the amount of information they had, near miss or not.
Like I said, I had never given that info; to a bank or anyone else. Tracked by SS# I guess, it was only 10 or 20 years ago my state started putting 'driver license' # on our ID's instead of xxx-xx-xxxx. I guess before that every job search or loan app or whatever got poured into a potential databank. The financiers.. er brokers, had access to that stuff at a level that IS a little freaky.
But I digress. I violated my own privacy by offering them even more information for the priveledge of using their service.
Never again. They'll get my DNA when they pry it off my cold stiff credit card. bwahahahahahaha

It's such a change. When social security numbers were initially introduced, it wasn't even for the purpose to "track" people, and get a credit profile. What has this country come to?

Slightly off topic here..but speaking of social sec. numbers and IDs, Americans will eventually have to all get electronic passports (whether you travel or not)

If you will use EcoCard.

Play at 32Red or Dash Casino. Are the only two casinos that allows withdraval with.

Can I help Cerdikola? And also thank you for your input on the use of EcoCard.

The thread probably belongs in the 'America the Beautiful' forum, as it was a suggestion as a possible transaction method for Americans in our current frustrating situation with transacting with the Casinos.

In Spain you are well put for Casino funding and withrdrawing. In America we are in a real pickle to find a good and 'Independant' payment processor that has the power to really stay in service for Americans. EcoCard has some interesting advantages as far as Americans moving their money to European Banks. The U.S. DOJ would have any U.S. payment processor, assisting us, on the spit for roasting. If EcoCard could stay immune to this, they would indead be a powerful assest to American Players. However, our banks could be ordered (by Regulation) to stop making transfers to any Bank Ecocard is associated with; which would begin to appear ludicrous, and even communististic.

If you read the whole thread you'll see what I mean by the U.S. involvement in this thread.

At the present and for some time, U.S. players cannot play at 32Red or Dash Casino much to our disappointed and frustration; not to mention many other Casinos in the U.K. and Western Europe. If you are addressing the U.K. and Europe only, my apologies, and thank you for your input. :)

Oh sorry I didn't know that 32 Red bans USA.

But i thought this tread was about Eco...

Being a dum yank, I dunno, you might have to ask president d'allesandro err pelosi :)

Fortune Lounge appears to support EcoCard for withdrawals now. I have only verfiied that it's an option in Royal Vegas (casino and poker room), but it probably works in all their skins.

I actually did a withdrawal from the poker room, and it showed up 2 days later in EcoCard. Can't say that EcoCard gives me the warm fuzzies, though... we'll see if it makes it from there to my bank.

Eco ?

I made a w/d from Club World using Eco. I did the w/d and it ended up in my eco acct withi hours BUT...I made the w/d from Eco to my bank and it worked within the 2 business days but its not in my bank, when i looked a the report on the Eco site, it said it was in "Dansk Bank"???? What does this mean? Do they have to go through another bank to get to my US bank?

JPF now taking ECOcard

I must say, with all the deposit and withdrawal problems, JPF has been the best that I've seen in keeping players abreast of the options at their casinos by having a page dedicated to updates for US players.

Update: We are happy to announce that as of March 6th, EcoCard is available to players from the United States at all of the Jackpot Factory casinos.

I think Im ok

I got an email from Eco saying it has to go through another bank first. Ill let you know in total how long it takes

Once again the people at Club World are taking an interest and emailing me (Jason this time) Poor Michael has been sick. I must say, If they treat a little spender like me,just imagine how the big rollers get treated!!

Kudos to Club World for caring!!

My EcoCard report also said Danske bank on it, and my wire transfer withdrawal did just come through.

It took a full week and cost me $30 total ($10 EcoCard fee, and $20 for my bank for incoming foreign wire), but expensive money is better than no money. :)

got it today

Okay

I got my money via eco today. It took 2 business days to get from Eco to Dansk (as stated) and another 2 days from Dansk to my bank, so about 4 days from the time of my w/d request. The only thing I hate is the 2 charges.....$10 from Eco and $10 from my bank (better than the $20 other people got charged from their banks).

That's a $20 loss, so in reality....I deposited $20, won $82, paid out $20 in charges plus my $20 that I started with.

net winnings from $82.....$42..............US players being treated better some day? PRICELESS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mastercard, dont even try to use it online at casinos!!!!!! LMAO

I got e-mails from a couple MG casinos yesterday pushing EcoCard as a new option for US players. Here's EcoCard's opportunity to grab the remaining US market because Click2Pay didn't get it done when it had the chance.

Yes, the Vegas Palms 400% bonus is now only available with EcoCard. The larger groups that allow US players also (now) allow EcoCard. This includes Belle Rock, Casino Action, Casino Rewards, Fortune Lounge, Golden Riviera, Jackpot Factory, MiniVegas, Trident, and Vegas Partner....

Unfortunately, the EcoCard website seems to be non-functional at the moment:

Oh, great... ? We crashed/overwhelmed C2P and they barred new sign ups...

I haven't signed up at ECO as I'm still not so sure they're solid and won't pull a 'NETeller' on us. Also.... their sign up form isn't exactly idiot-mouse friendly. :o

EcoCard is not the most convenient payment option for online casinos but, in fact, we have no better alternative right now, especially if you play at multiple casinos. Funding is rather fast but withdrawals take at least 4 days. Note that they only charge small $10 fee for each wire withdrawal.
The best thing is that most MG casinos recommend ECO as their preferrable payment option. I hope in the nearest future ECO will develop new ways to fund the account and withdraw funds from the system. This European-based payment processor is rapidly developing.

Actually, I think Click2Pay is a somewhat better e-wallet for me now. My reasons are

1) I can use it at all the RTG casinos where I like to deposit; I can't say that yet for EcoCard.
2) I can make ACH deposits from my bank to my C2P account, whereas only wire transfer deposits are possible to EcoCard.
3) C2P only charges $2 for a wire transfer withdrawal, compared to $10 for EcoCard.

Nevertheless, I'm glad EcoCard is emerging as an alternative for the US market. The more competition, the better.

I was going to input my bank info today when I noticed that ECO requires a "SWIFT" code. (code assigned to each bank for international wires). I looked at my bank's website and wouldn't you know it my bank doesn't have a SWIFT code. Has anyone else run into this snag?

I never got a reply when I e-mailed them a month ago so I thought I'd ask here.

ECO card at Rival casinos

I had a nice run at Paradise8 this week.

I made my deposit with my netspend card. Before I can withdraw to ECO, I need to make a minimum deposit using ECO so their system will accept my withdrawal.

Not sure if that's the way it works at all places, but that's how the Rival casinos are handling it.

And an update to my other post above: I did get a quick response to my e-mail to ECO this time and they said to just use my bank's routing number since they don't have a SWIFT number.

I haven't yet funded my ECO account. Please PM me if you are willing to do me a "solid" and transfer $25 to my ECO account. I can pay you first via paypal. I'll make it worth your while ;-) as it will save me a hassle. (plus i want to compensate you so I can be mean to you in future posts)

Swift Codes

US Banks do not have swift codes (FYI). I called my bank and asked them. They have what you call ABA numbers instead. Sorry I didnt see this post sooner, I was having a bad week (pain wise)

Actually, US banks do and should have SWIFT codes (at least my last three banks had them). They're used for identifying your bank when international wires are sent. Maybe there's a way to get around it by furnishing an ABA number, but it's probably best to use a SWIFT code whenever possible.

Balls, I'd ask your bank for complete instructions on how to receive an international wire. It will probably include a SWIFT code.

from my bank's website: "SWIFT Codes are used when transferring money between banks, particularly international transfers. USAA does not have a SWIFT Code."

i think they used to be a Savings & Loan so perhaps that's the reason?

i just did my first transaction with moneygram to ECO. i'll update on how that proceeds. moneygram was $10 vs $16 i think for western union for basically the exact same service.

I would recommend that one do this at a bank rather than a supermarket. The main reason being that bank tellers are often HOT! My teller told me that they get a lot of business from people who come over from the drugstore next door when their system crashes.

Moneygram does offer an online version where one can charge it, but they require one's social security number. At the bank I only had to show my license.

ECO site shows the cut-off time as 11 a.m. est so the money more than likely won't show up until the morning after you send it.

I may do another one of these tomorrow once swede tells me his basketball picks. (i'll bet on the opponents) :D

Hi TB!
Just wondering which Rival games you played in your 'nice run'...
If it was slots, can you give me some recommendations?
I've only played there once before & was not over-impressed with the slots I tried - so I'm hoping these are some better ones!

PS: Just wondering about those special rings for Pina - did you get hold of her & give her one...?

i played a lot of VP which counts 1/6 towards the WR in some of their promos. I've had some nice streaks on their Circus slot. Each of their slots shows payout % in the help section. The only slots I play their are Circus, Reel Party and Grandma's Attic (this one has a character in the intro that resembles a young cheekymonkey).

you do have to alter your expectations playing their slots. I have found that you hit the features more often, but they often pay under 10x.

My biggest hits their were each 100x playing Sudoku. And I haven't even played much Sudoku. It's a nice change of pace, but it does get old fast.

I like their VP graphics better than any other system. Their deuces wild 4x has the same paytable as MG. I've had good results with that game too.

And from my personal experience their blackjack plays very fair. hold the cipher jokes please

pinababy

no word yet from our pet to the great white north. (damn and i was practically in there too!)

i suspect steed is holding her in an abandoned warehouse in Seoul and is doing mad-scientist experiments on her. (clamping her eyelids open and forcing her to watch 100,000 spins of Mystique whilst listening to Frankie Goes to Hollywood at high volume)

re-rail

My moneygram to ECO went through without a hitch.

I should be flush with cash in my ECO account late next week should any regulars here require some.......wink! wink! nod! nod!.....assistance. They charge 1.5% for transfers between members I think.

my withdrawal from Royal Vegas to ECOcard hit my ECO account within 24 hours. I only deposited $20 there to try the slot tournies, but then I hit a $300 feature.

I probably would have continued to play at most places, but the way FL has acted lately made it easy to find that withdraw button.

Did you use ECO to deposit as well or another method? I have some money left in click2pay that made it in after I flushed my account so it isn't at the 1500 mark (their withdrawal min) and could have it at 1500 at the end of the week but I was wondering if you can deposit by one method and withdraw to the eco card. I have a feeling click2pay will lock US players out soon.

See this thread (if you haven't already) Link Removed ( Old/Invalid)

If their processor has left C2P high and dry, I don't see how players can get their money out anyway -- even if you're over the $1500 mark. You may need to get first hand info (and pray it's correct) from C2P.

Good luck.

I got an email today from C2P saying they can no longer fund from my bank account[doesn't matter to me since I havent used it for a month anyway ] I also got emails from Villento and Clubworld saying C2P will have to be funded by credit card from now on so the C2P door is just about shut .

What does this mean for U.S. customers?

I realize they are trying to cover their asses, but it would be nice if they could come right out and say what that means for US online gambling transactions. Because, aside from sports betting and the 11 prohibited states, I don't think online gambling is illegal for US citizens.

Of course, what I believe doesn't mean jack as illustrated by the entire NETeller debacle....
