Is EcoCard an option???

BTW, there have been a couple times that my Netspend card was denied at the casino, but then accepted the next try. Server problems, I guess.

I have a gas station 2 minutes away that loads them too, but the clerk was new and couldn't figure it out!:what: I had to go into town to reload, and thought that might be a bad sign (us gamblers are soooo superstitious), but I WON, so all is well:D

That wouldn't happen to be a Cumberland Farms store would it?

They have the WORST cashiers EVER. I've run into the same situation multiple times. Even from the cashiers that have worked there for awhile.

No, it was a Shell station~ The poor cashier was calling her manager at home, and the customers were lined up behind me, throwing me that evil eye  I just smiled and said, hey don't worry, I'll go OTB (thats "Over The Bridge" and into town, here in S.TX). Maybe my positive karma brought about my winnings last night :notworthy

Soooo, is it starting to happen already ?

Just tried to up my deposit through NETSPEND at Roxy Palace (MG) and was turned down. Anybody else that this is happening too ?...NETSPEND getting the axe ?

Again with the NetSpend thing!!!

Sorry to be a bother about this...

But I was wondering if anyone has had any success with depositing with the NetSpend All Access GIFT card at Microgaming Casinos. I have tried both the reloadable and the nonreloadable cards at Roxy Palace with no success even though I know full well that come casinos take them and some dont. I can't seem to find any MicroGaming Casinos volunteering any Banking info about prepaid options, especially with this card. It would be cool if anyone could answer this for me.

NetSpend card...

I also got a temporary netspend all-access card and have funded at casinos the last few days. I did use it as a "debit" card in the banking section under the "visa/mc" deposit option. Maybe that makes a difference?

Hey, fellow Texan, maybe you can tell me this...I know you can buy these pre-paid cards at places like Ace CashExpres...can you buy one and use it the same day, or are you forced to waiting for a card to show up in the mail? (What's the difference between a "temporary card" and the real thing?)

(What's the difference between a "temporary card" and the real thing?)

I believe the only difference is that the "real thing" has your name on it. You can use the temp one immediately. (You just can't use the temp one at an ATM I think)

The fees vary depending on where you load your card. I suspect a "cash express" place would be on the high end of fees. Most big supermarket chains now sell them. A lot of the clerks don't understand how the reload works though. Just make sure you get your reciept and your activation code. (I don't think you need the code, but it's a seperate receipt they always give me.)

last night when I was at my local Safeway (big grocery) I looked and they were out of the Netspend cards and only had a couple of the gift cards. Hopefully this was just temporary? :what:

I bought a temporary All-Access Visa card at HEB and used it right away, after I called the activation number and gave my info. It cost me $9.95 upfront but nothing to reload. The casinos have been charging me $1 for each deposit. Also, some deposits are denied for no reason, and when I try again they are accepted..:what: I haven't gotten the peramanent card yet, but will post if anything changes.

EcoCard is still available to US players. But they make you wait atleast 2 business days before they will transfer your funds to your bank. This is worst than 48 hrs pending period at some Microgaming casinos.

It's Netspend that charges the $1 per transaction, not the casinos...

Yep..here too. But the problem is not on Netspend's end, but Roxy Palace (and their sister casino Casino Splendido). I wrote to them and they responded that they now have a new gateway processor. The agent from Roxy Palace advised me that perhaps "they require a larger amount". Well I tried doubling the amount..still a no-go. I did used to use this card and my other prepaid card that works with online gaming transactions at both Roxy casinos, and was accepted fine until this change in "gateway processor".

I then went to deposit using Netspend at Big Dollar and Vip.com, and both accepted it as always.

Unfortunately, I had to uninstall Roxy and Casino Splendido since there is no viable option left for me to deposit there.

As far as ECOcard.. I tried depositing via Moneygram (online) and I had to call them...felt like I was being interrogated they asked so many questions.."How do you know your recipient? Why are you sending him money?" I answered vaguely, of course, but in the end they refused to complete the transaction.

Maybe it's just the way I am, but I would have told them it's not of their $(*@&$% business, and I will spend my money as I see fit. If they would have treated me like I was a criminal, I would have threatened a lawsuit, as it's a violation of privacy.

Pretty freaky, but not too different from my first neteller and other confirmations. They had a multiple choice question thingy about where I had resided in the past, what sort of loans I had managed, the schools I had attended, et al et al. Then they phoned me to confirm a few of the options. I had NEVER volunteered ANY info on the web before so 'they' obviously already have/had access to reams of datum.

Looking at previous posts I wouldn't attempt any transactions for awhile. Gateway processors my *ss

Neteller and other financial institutions have to ask those questions to comply with the patriot act, and banking regulations. They pull your credit report and make you verify information on that....It actually works good for both parties. They know for a shadow of a fact that it's you, and helps protects you against identity theft.

I use ecocard always! I live in Spain and I use my local bank. In 24h hours my money is ready.

Is totally anonimous and have no fees, only for withdraval.

has anybody tried to withdraw at a casino after they dep with thier temp netspend card? i have never recieved my permanent card in the mail as of yet and its been 12 days, i reversed mywithdrawl becasue my temp card does not have my name on it.. i didnt even bother to send in the fax forms for my withdrawl becasue i figured with no name on my card it would only delay my withdrawl. has anyone recieved a permanent card in the mail yet?

AFAIK, you do have to wait for the perm. card to do any kind of ACH transfer with it, seeing as how you have to call and activate it once you receive it.

bank of america card

Try Bank Of America Credit card. That one still works.

I have 3 Bank Of America credit cards and a debit card- none of them work and tried all 4 at too may different casinos to list. I also have received numerous calls from their fraud department. A month ago I also got the " thanks and have a great day" Now I get " if you try and use this with any Gambling sites your cards will be revoked and you will have to continue making the payments" Good luck.

get a netspend card it works really well. dont know for how much longer. its easy and works just like a credit card. only its prepaid . just activate it when you purchase it.
