If this isn't a WTF, I don't know what is.

I tried to make a deposit at Intertops last week and card was denied. Same card I have been using for a year or more. Already registered at Intertops and has been since I started playing at MG Intertops. Got this email from them:

Dear XXXXX

Thank you for choosing Intertops.com!

While reveiwing our records we noted your credit card was declined by our
system.

Unfortunately this means that credit cards will no longer be allowed for
deposits on your Intertops account

Please let us know if your Intertops account becomes suspended due to the
rejected transactions and we will re-open for you.

Other deposit options include:

MONEY GRAM - just call for simple step-by-step instructions!

Feel free to contact us with any questions 24/7 at our toll free number (866)

Best of luck to you!!

Sincerely,

So I sent them this email:

Interesting since that is the credit card that I have always used at Intertops and use at all the other casinos I play at and have not had one bit of trouble.

Just close account since as I won't be able to deposit using a credit card. I have other casinos that I have no problem depositing with.
Today, I get this email which is actually dated yesterday:

Dear Hilda,

This e-mail is to assist you with funding your account.

We noticed that you had an unsuccessful transaction, therefore, we have
re-routed your transaction to another processor and the transaction was
successful.

Therefore, the balance on your account is US$30.

Good luck on your wagers and thank you for choosing Intertops.com.

Sincerely,

Desiree
Sure enough, there is $30 sitting in my sportsbook account but nothing has been taken out of my bank. I am quite PO'd about the balls of Intertops to send a charge through a week after I tried to make the first one. I didn't authorize another charge, I told them to close my account. Now I've gotta deal with this mess.

Well, maybe I should have called them first before posting and they should have made their emails a little bit clearer.

They didn't charge my account, they gave me a bonus for all the trouble. That is not what their email said but I'll go with it for now since no money has disappeared.

Bryan, edit and put resolved before somebody reads it and flips out please.

I think you where justified, they didn't say bonus. They stated that they re routed trans. (make no sense). I would have thought the same thing.

Yep, I agree...that's the way I read it too. It does sound like they should do a couple of proof-reads first before sending out emails such as that one above and getting players all riled up for no reason. Intertops could have clearly avoided this one if only a little more due-diligence had of been put forth.

Well that is pretty decent of them to give a bonus though.
This should be a well done Intertops story but they managed to mess up.
Can't blame you for assuming it wasn't a bonus.
