So Intertops says they don't know where my money is, and tomorrow we get to start an "immediate investigation".....the saga continues.
.On the brink of losing it now....I asked Intertops to call me to clear up why they said they sent my withdrawal to a VISA instead of my Mastercard. An hour or so later, a UK rep called me. I was hoping the response would be "Oh, the VIP support rep mis-typed. We sent it to your Mastercard ending in 0730...not a Visa." That was not the response I got. I'll try to make this clear:
Intertops rep (after intros): "Well, as you know (?) we were using a new withdrawal service called Cardpay, and there was a glitch in the system that caused your money to be sent to the wrong card. We have been waiting for a reversal of funds to get the money back, so we can send a new withdrawal to the appropriate card, but it doesn't look like we have gotten our money back yet, so we have to keep waiting. You see, some people have multiple cards that they deposit with..." She went on to say that "You're saying you do not have a card that ends in 0730?" I stopped her.
Me: "I do have a card that ends in 0730. It's a Mastercard. Not a Visa as your rep said the money was sent to. All I wanted to do was confirm where you sent my money. I was hoping the rep who emailed me made a mistake."
Intertops rep:"Oh, yes, that's probably what happened. The rep made a mistake."......"Have you checked your card to see if you received the money? (?!??!)"
Me: "Have you reversed my withdrawal now?!"
Intertops rep (starting to panic): "Oh---I'll have to check the system....you see, I'm just taking this over for someone else....I'll have to get back to you."
Me:..............................!!!!!!
Regardless of the fact that their planned response was just to call and lie to me, now I have to worry that they've simply reversed my withdrawal without looking into my question or contacting me first to confirm?!?!
I'm at a loss for words at this point. Will continue to update....
Not sure how to PAB, but I'll read up on it. Don't know if this qualifies.....I've been asking for proof that my withdrawal was processed all week (as soon as things started getting fishy). They wouldn't provide anything other than to say, "sure it was!" (more or less)....Until about an hour and a half ago, that is.
Here is the email from Intertops this evening (dots added to save space):
"We sincerely regret that there have been issues with your recent payout. Of course, in this line of business, things do not always run as smoothly as we anticipate regarding fund transfers....
Unfortunately, there has been a slight technical issue with the CardPay payout process......However, please be advised that we were not aware of this delay when your payout was first requested and processed. As you may realize there are certain points during the processing which are beyond our control. We instigate the payment on our end and the process continues. It is only after a certain time that we find out whether the whole transaction completed.
We sincerely apologize for any disappointment and inconvenience caused.
Thank you for your kind understanding and patience.
Have a great day!"
. Originally I just made this to get more info on their payout process (even though I've been with them for years, it's been a loooong time since my last wd). I couldn't find any on their site. All it said was 48 hours next to the Cardpay option (they've since changed that to 3-7 days). For other people's info, there's a 2 biz day "pending period" followed by a 2 biz day "processing period" (after those 2 periods, the money comes out of your account). For me, that would have been 10/29. In this case, they found out 6-7 biz days later, that the withdrawal was processed "unsuccessfully" (they say dues to an error on Cardpay's behalf). I can't confirm who made the error---to me it seems strange they wouldn't find out about it until 6-7 biz days later. Nevertheless, that's what has happened. The main two things that bothered me, were:They said they would also credit my sportsbook account with a "no-rollover" bonus as a consolation.
For the record, I did end up getting my withdrawal yesterday morning. So all things considered, if the withdrawal would have "worked" the first time, it seems like the Cardpay option takes about the same amount of time as PayMyCard (the one All Star Slots uses). I don't believe All Star has the 4 business day pending period that Intertops has though.
