International Women's Day

I hadn't even realized that today is International Women's Day. A good day to take a moment and remember (and be thankful for) all the women in history who fought for women's rights. The suffragettes and the vote for women comes to mind, although I'm ashamed to say that I am not a history buff, and couldn't name any of them off the top of my head. But I am thankful that there have been women who were willing to withstand abuse, ridicule and even violence...to fight for what they believed in. They have definitely made the world a better place for us today.

Just thought it was worth mentioning.

I commend anything that appreciates all the women in the world.

I wouldn't know LIFE without my mother.

I wouldn't know LOVE without my wife.

I wouldn't know COMPASSION and CARING without my sister.

Thank you to all the strong women that make our lives that much more beautiful each day
