Hey,
I was just wondering - are these slots direct clones of each other, except for the graphics and the order in which you unlock the bonus features, or is one higher variance than the other?
Someone here at CM said the way to think of IR/TS2 is as 'hidden progressives' - in that the maximum pays are so huge and have to be accounted for as part of the RTP, same as a normal progressive.
It makes no difference since a chunk of the RTP is "reserved" for big wins and the higher the potential big win, the higher the %. (ie: the big wins NEED to happen to reach the TRTP on the long run).
A progressive works the exact same except that sometimes they tell you upfront what that % is.
But one of the clever things about these games IMO is the way you can select a free spin feature that alters the variance slightly
It doesn't make any difference which feature you're choosing since the slot isn't compensated and you have to unlock the features. Your chances to win any amount during the free spins have to be the same regardless of the feature.
