unfriggingbelievable.

I was on Facebook and someone posted a link about how pedophiles are all upset about Facebook shutting down NAMBLA groups. I clicked the link and it goes to a site called annabelleigh(dot)net....and it looks like the wrong site, it's all pink and has these pics of little girls on the top.

Well I look at the faq and guess what? It's a frigging pedophile forum.

I want to bomb it. Why are sites like that allowed to exist?

I reported the site to cybertipline (EDIT: also the FBI and ASACP) so at least someone can look into it. I suppose they feel like if they're not actually posting photos or whatever and they're just sharing their 'love' of children that they're not doing anything wrong. But I betcha if the FBI starts watching it closely they'll catch themselves a few perverts who are sharing more than their thoughts.

That reminds me of an old Fruit machine forum "superarcadia" that discussed things like "emptiers", "devices" etc. It's an outdated forum software, but this at least means it can be "bombed" more easily should the authorities drag their feet.

It seems to be very active, and has emerged because the social network sites have been shutting down their groups. This means the "pervs are all in the same place" should the FBI want to take a peek. An avalanche of reporting this site "through proper channels" may work, but it also depends on where it is registered, as I am sure they thought of this when they set it up, making sure it was not vulnerable to a direct closure order by someone like the FBI.

At present, it comes up in Google simply from the name posted by the OP, and can be reached via Google. Google at least could blacklist this site, and any on the same server if they look similar.

The FAQ and rules seem directed more at avoiding "getting caught", rather than behaving properly and ensuring proper forum etiquette. The link has probably been posted widely in order to make sure the "regulars" are able to find it.

There may be more to gain from having the FBI monitor the forum, rather than shutting it down.

Unbelievable. This type of behavior is disgusting and the members of this site should be ashamed of themselves. God help me if I ever come across one of these perverts.

Being the mother of two children I have the desire to go there and try to gather enough info on everyone of these fcks and make there true names known. If i was better at the computer I would. These people should be just boiled in hot oil, every weekend on national TV. For all to see................. Our laws cant protect our kids but they can get poker rooms in other countries shut down? WTF Now I'm pissed to. UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG Just cant say in words the anger and thoughts going thru my mind.......:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

This is what the likes of the FBI and CEOP should do, rather than shutting it down straight away. The problem with "bombing" the forum now to get rid of it is that all the pervs will run off before their activities can be looked at by the police. The FBI and our CEOP should have tools available that can gather information such as posters' IP addresses, and cross reference them with ISP databases, powers that ordinary citizens don't have under privacy laws. If the pervs think they are still "underground", they will stay put, all in one place.

The fact that this came to light when the OP saw the link on Facebook, and first believed it was the "wrong site", supports the view that this has been set up as a "quick fix" in responce to being driven out from Facebook, and "quick fixes" tend to be vulnerable at first - ask any programmer;)

I suspect the idea was that many Facebook pervs would see the link and follow it, but that Facebook would quicky delete the reference, ensuring the new forum went quickly "underground", and not easily found by those with an interest in shutting it down.

This thread will serve as a record of this site, and allow us to check whether the authorities have done what is expected of them in a timely manner. It may not be obvious if what they have "done" is to send in an undercover team to try to find out more, rather than shut it down, as it will appear as though nothing is being done.

I'm glad you stated that. I know I get hot headed. I understand exactly what you mean and yes it does make sense but I still like to boil them in oil on national TV. I was in Law enforcement. Too many times I've seen these pricks get away because they changed the way they looked and the kids couldn't make a positive ID... It took all my strength not to shoot them myself. I know how they work and the sad thing is they know the law better then the dam courts and lawyers. If leaving this site up helps catch some of these slimes then I'm all for it. I just wish more could be done.

The link that was posted on Facebook was on a page about a petition to make the sex offender registry in Canada public. I found it because after replying to BingoT's post I wondered if they had changed it here yet, and I hit Google and that Facebook page came up. Most people on the page are complaining about sex offenders walking the streets and having more rights than anyone else.

I don't know who the person who posted the link was, but they said something like, "look at what this scummy **** said about facebook shutting down NAMBLA groups" - they didn't seem to be promoting it or anything like that or I would have reported them - although you have to wonder how they stumbled across it in the first place.

I've reported the site to several agencies and hopefully they'll either infiltrate or (kill/castrate/immolate) do something about these creeps.

I tried a quick whois on that domain but it looks like it was done with one of those privacy things so you can't tell who it really is. Or maybe I just can't see properly, what with that red mist and all....
