CM Announcement Ikibu removed from Accredited section

@Yaker thank you very much for posting and being so honest, I'm guessing (as Dan mentioned) you aren't expecting to be working there much longer, so will take the opportunity to say thank you for taking the time to be the rep and although we haven't always seen eye to eye, I respected you had the guts to post, in fact your rant at me a few months ago probably earned more respect from me than you otherwise would, as you at least spoke your mind :) I honestly hope you get another job quickly and wish you all the best for the future.

Just as an aside, I know you say players will get paid as there is a pot of cash, but if thats the case then shareholders are basically stealing from affiliates. While a lot of players probably think thats good, then it shows what the shareholders are like, and why would they care abut shafting players, especially if Ikibu is on it's last legs. If you are correct in saying it's only a matter of time before Ikibu closes, then I have no confidence in players being paid. I would strongly suggest no one reading this plays at Ikibu. I certainly wouldn't be wanting to be waiting on a large withdrawal, thats for sure. I've only said that in public about 2 other casinos and both closed (DrVegas and FreakyVegas).

Good luck in the future @Yaker

Only casino I ever played at that didn't let me log in from work due to my company use a different IP (different country) than I'm located at.

I always had some sort of bad feeling about this place.

They are a white label so not sure how that would work, add to that Yaker saying they have the cash would suggest its ikibu who is paying?
Is it worth risking when there are other almost the same MTST sites people can use?

I think the way it is working for white-labels is that they have to give a retainer to the licence holder, in this case, MT. Money they cannot touch until the contract ended or has been terminated and all dues have been paid.

It surely was the case for Microgaming casinos in the early 2,000s. I assume that the principle has been kept.

Sounds like its insolvent/almost insolvent. Therefore licence should be suspended to protect players. UKGC should be notified of this thread tbh.

Hello all,

Firstly, thanks @colinsunderland for the kind words. I know I've been an asshole sometimes but I always tried to be honest with you guys! I truly hope that we can meet on a rather better situation :)

Secondly, regarding the players money, it's exactly like @Harry_BKK MTST manages a money reserve that we don't have access to in order to assure that the players are paid. That's why I said that the players will not be affected by this issue.

Just got the email that they are closing down.

"IKIBU CASINO IS CLOSING DOWN ITS SITE

You have 30 days until 29/12/2019 to withdraw your funds. Withdrawals will be processed, but games, rewards and deposits will not be available anymore. Please note that all bonuses and bonus winnings will be cancelled. You can only withdraw your real money balance. Thank you for the past years and all the best!"

Hi all,

Yes. It's true! As I said earlier this week, it was a matter of time.

Thanks all for your messages, although they have not been always kind words, I know that, with your feedback, you were trying to make us a better casino.

Again, we (the whole team) gave our best and tried everything to make this company grow and be a good place to work, and a better casino for all the players. I have nothing but respect and gratitude towards my co-workers.

I wish you the best of luck in your future gaming journeys.

Sometimes it is not the staff but simply the management or the share holders that make a mess.
I have worked for companies in the past and came up with some great ideas to improve brand exposure, client growth, client satisfaction etc etc but sometimes it is just the same as talking to a brick wall.

So I can feel the frustration in your words and I am sure you did nothing but your best to make Ikibu work.

I have affiliated for them when they just started and had some good conversions.
Also customers were quite happy in the beginning.
So I am not sure where it all went wrong.

Wish you all the best mate, in your future job / ventures.
