You may find there aren't as many players as you might be expecting.

These 'spend as much money with, us as you can' type promotions, aren't usually very popular with CM members.

You may get members who would be playing at IKIBU anyway. But you may not get many who will play there just for this tournament.

Slotty Vegas ceased all CM exclusive promotions, after making a loss on their last promotion (although their prizes were larger)

I clicked SIGN IN but i think i m not in the Race and i don t know which one i have to choose ????

Edit: Solved chat said it will appear on tuesday in the list..

OKAY, OPTING IN PERIOD IS NOW CLOSED!!

Thank you to those that decided to participate.

There are not many participants, so it seems all of you will be at least earning some kind of prize, congrats on that :)

Races will start running this Wednesday, enjoy!

Ho hum, don't make things easy do you?

Hi, can you tell me why my account is blocked please?
Ikki-Chan
hello Colin
let me check please
:)
Colin
thanks
Ikki-Chan
Due to UKGC guidelines, all UK players need to verify their account within 72 hours from registering. This is why we’re legally required to request these documents. To verify your account you need to send me your ID, driving license or passport to [email protected].
In order to verify your account, we will need a clear-cut/sharp picture of the docs we requested. We do not accept folded sheets, any cropped or poor quality images.

For example:The 4 corners of the sheet of utility bill or bank statement must be visible, the same for the ID card or passport.

Remind that if you don't provide us this docs as we explain before, the docs will be rejected by our verification department.
Colin
thats not a UKGC requirement, however if it is your policy thats fine, do you not think you should tell your customers this in your welcome email though?
Ikki-Chan
it is stated on the terms and conditions
Colin
In the case of British players, if such verification is not completed to our satisfaction within 72 hours of you first depositing money into Your Account we are required to freeze Your Account until such time as we can successfully verify that you are over 18 years old.

I haven't made a deposit
Ikki-Chan
depends on the case it will be blocked before of after depositing
Colin
so you just make the rules up despite what your terms say?
Ikki-Chan
Colin the license block your account
blocked*
unfortunately it not depends on Ikibu

And there was more, including him rejecting a photo I've used at at least 10-15 other casinos as I used flash.

I hope I'm not going to be asked for other ID at a later point as that will be the end of this account with you.

Photo ID rejection for you too huh?

Rejected.webp

I am sick to the teeth with casino's that do this now. Here was my Email to them.

"Hi,

I wish to query the rejection of my photo ID.

I am just about sick of casino's rejecting Photographic Identity unless it is a Driver's License or Passport, despite the ID provided being a valid form of identification. Not everyone travels or drives or can afford to!

Please can you explain to me in depth of this decision?

I wish to inform you of what the UKGC regard as valid ID. The ID I provided also being Government issued I must add.

You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

The following sources may, therefore, be useful for verification of UK-based customers:

•current signed passport

•birth certificate

•current photo card driving licence

•current EEA member state identity card

current identity card issued by the Electoral Office for Northern Ireland

•residence permit issued by the Home Office

•firearms certificate or shotgun licence

•benefit book or original notification letter from the Department of Works and Pensions confirming the right to benefits

•council tax bill

•utility bill or statement (but not ones printed off the internet), or a certificate from a utilities supplier confirming an arrangement to pay services on pre-payment terms

•bank, building society or credit union statement or passbook containing current address (but not statements printed off the internet) - bank or credit cards alone will not be sufficient as these do not provide either residential address or date of birth

•confirmation from an electoral register that a person of that name lives at that address

•recent original mortgage statement from a recognised lender

•solicitor’s letter confirming recent house purchase or land registry confirmation of address

•local council or housing association rent card or tenancy agreement HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) self-assessment statement or tax demand

•house or motor insurance certificate

I am fed up of these casino tactics of delaying approval of my photo ID, so at a later date, when the time comes for a withdrawal, the withdrawal will not be processed and will be returned to my account in the vein hope that I lose it back.

Also I have lost a £150 withdrawal because of deliberately super sloooow payment processing.

With everything taken into consideration I find it highly unlikely that I will deposit another cent into Ikibu unfortunately.

I look forward to your response.

Thanks,

Paddy"

While I do really appreciate the promo, and believe me I hate this post I am making...I am just about at the end of my tether now when it come to casino's rejecting Photo ID for "no other reason than on a whim". You can probably guess why that is sarcastically quoted.

When casino's ask for verification documents and I send them, I expect them to do their due diligence and accept them when they are all valid. Not play a zero sum game. Because in the end, there will be zero more sums coming from my wallet into your bank.

Admittedly if I really wanted that to happen I'd have to avoid all Mt Secure Trade casino's, where I've actually had this same recurring first denial, which is what I just might do.

Sorry for the disgruntled rant.

BTW, which Colin are you :D

Add me to that list?

....

Hey yeah Colin S and Paddy- Same goes here
Me? I'm Colin M :( equally disgruntled and unimpressed after many hours trying to fathom what these turkeys want -
should I say "need"?
No explanations forthcoming, as you'd both know already;
Items submitted via "upload", you get a "processing" message and days later BANG - up goes the big red reject tag!

For me an "appreciative Aussie", having registered well ahead of raceday, now with 10 NETELLER deposits (that's 200 plus!) and with Nothing to cash in, I simply elected to provide documentation in advance of "the race" finishing ...
Now wish I hadn't even Started the fucker

ikiwhat.webp

icki yeah.webp

They have the gall to reject everything I send, showing activity in my neteller acc - including transaction details of 1st deposit with Ikb...
add to which, I supplied pics frt and back of credit card : not used/won't be used(!) AND...
the explanation they send is this bullshit about folded paper and corners missing ?????????????
RING A BELL COL S???

oops.webp

I think I'm Colin S, but as i can't see the race any more I'm not 100% sure

I was going to deposit this evening but I'm not sure now, due to the posts above. All I've sent is my driving license which I was told was all they needed, but I'm not so sure. My Bills I use for address verification come through the post and are folded in envelopes, so presumably they wouldn't be accepted, so I might have problems withdrawing.

Heres my (heavily censored) ID that was refused due to the flash, but bear in mind the photo was taken on 6th April 2016, and I've used it at over 15 casinos since then, and at least 3 times for enhanced KYC so not sure why there was a problem, the flash doesn't even obscure anything

IKIBU Casino..WTF?

Hey Rafelito ...
Are you keeping tabs on that IKIBU Casino "race" stuff you promoted here ?
As the Casino meister approved representative of this facility- are you aware of the dissatisfaction being expressed by we players who responded to your special Casinomeister IKIBU promotion that reeled us in last week?
Time you got busy mate -
there's not likely to be many of us returning to your site if this keeps up.
Our pals will certainly heed the warnings - that's for sure!
Suggest you best take a look at the latest bunch of posts in that IKIBU thread you started and get your cronies sorted out?

Well this is the reply I had when I asked them to explain to me in depth why my Photo ID has a Rejected status.

seems everything is ok.webp

He says my account is fully verified, so there shouldn't be any problems while trying to withdraw according to that.

But I have been in this position before with an MT Secure casino who then asked for a Driver's License or Passport as the don't accept my Photo ID.

What's the problem with my Photo ID? It's government issued and is an accepted form of ID for the verification process according the the UKGC.

Jesus, the reply even says in the Email "ID, passport and driving license, so any other docs will be rejected"...I mean is that not what my Electoral Identity card is?

While he did his best to reassure me that everything is fine and I won't be asked for anymore docs....I still do not like seeing my status showing Photo ID rejected and wish to be fully explained to why my Photo ID is regarded as less proof than a Drivers License or Passport (All of them are government issued).

I've had that problem in the past with the flash on before too. Really winds you up.

It really doesn't bother them I think. I think casino's really just like to piss off players and dick around because they can. They know it annoys you and they hope it winds you up so you say to yourself "I'm gonna deposit and withdraw from these cunts".

Don't underestimate their understanding of player psychology :p

I only keep a copy of a no flash Photo on my laptop now.

Well done to the people who won cash prizes (even though it hasn't finished yet, it almost is). I was put off depositing more due to the lack of responses on the thread, not sure why you would run a promo then not log in for the final 5 days to answer any queries

On the plus side, I didn't have any problems with gameplay at all, all the games opened quickly, and all ran perfectly, not one disconnect, no stuttering or anything, and a decent selection of games.

Only 5 people seem to have taken part in this, which is a shame, and I never understand why CM promotions don't attract more interest. Playing one spin would have got a prize in this one, and others have had poor take up's too. Hopefully the casino didn't make a loss from this promo.

Just going to make a coffee then I'll have a little bash.

I have to agree there on everything.

It's a breath of fresh air to not have any disconnections or lags for an entire session, and they have just about everything you'd want to play.

Definitely a shame the promo didn't attract more interest from the casino's point of view, but from a players perspective I am glad as it gave us a better chance at the cash prizes.

When I seen the promo all I was hoping for was the seeds to buy a good chunk of freespins, that was incentive enough for me to join, and I think it's the first exclusive promo that required a deposit that I've done here. Will definitely be looking out for others of a similar vein.

I wouldn't worry too much much about the Casino taking much of a loss if any. While the cash is nice for us, it's pennies to them. The prize pool is £200, and 7 of us all deposited (for arguments sake) at least £20 each, which is £140, no biggie ;)

What where the odds of three of those five players who took part being called that god awful name Colin?

Personally,I see it as a responsibility of me to take part in any exclusive promo that is given to me in Casinomeister. It is not just about what I can get out of this site.
I have deposited and lost £50 and like in other promos here I am prepared to lose it

Same here, I try to take part in as many as possible, if people don't take part, there won't be any more. Managed correctly they can, I imagine, work in the casino's favour, getting them returning customers. I think I deposited about £70-80 for this one.

I play at allbritish after their promo, which I probably wouldn't have it it wasn't for that, I don't play at SlottyVegas after their promo where they threatened to reduce the prizes. This one remains to be seen, but if the rep is unresponsive then that is offputting :(

That is how I view it too. I may be a pedantic fecker with the casino if I feel the need, but in I am.
Rafa is a great rep who is usually very responsive so I am sure that there is a very good reason for his absence?

Like wise. Well apart from the obligational responsibilty part for me. As having the money on the specified period is a factor for me since I am paid fortnightly.

If it's fun an appealing then it's definitely worth participating in for sure ;)

I actually only read about the happenings at Slotty today after reading the linked post from Brianmon on the 1st page.

I don't think they needed to actually boycott future CM promos.

Like you said, there is certain ways in which it could be managed better in the future.

One example would be to perhaps, have the prize pool relative to the amount of payers who have deposited.

Example.

Prize pool = £500 (For 10 deposting players) - Places paid 3
Prize pool = £1000 (For 20 depositing players - Places paid 6

Just a rough and simple example how promotional prizes could be adjusted, but you get the drift.

Also, in regards to prizes being reduced in this one, I would doubt it.

I played a couple of seeds tournaments and the prize seeds were automatically credited straight afterwards. So no manual awarding it appears.

Although exclusive promos have been presented in good faith I do think that some have not been given enough thought prior to being presented to us and this contributes to the rep/casino becoming disgruntled by the poor responses re either sign up numbers or the comments relating to it or both.
I have been guilty in the past of pissing reps off during a promo so now I like to think I have learnt my lesson

Yea I feel guilty about expressing matters that should have been expressed more directly (Eg through Emaill) to this thread.

Reflecting on it, it feels like I was putting Rafelito on the spot, where I should have had the decency to PM him about the issue.

Airing my dirty laundry out in public is what I was doing out of frustration, and I apologize to Rafelito for this :(

I feel differently. Firstly sometimes (and not saying that is the case here) you get a quicker/better response if its public. Look at the unibet thread where someone had been waiting 5 months to be paid. He had spoken to support and the rep and got nowhere, posted in public it was sorted within a day or two.

I also think if a problem and solution is in public it can help others facing the same problems. I know I've had problems in the past where I have sorted them by just searching and finding the solution in a thread.
