Hey guys,

Any frequent IGT slot players here?
I don't play them often as I think their paytables are designed just like Netent.
Always giving small portions of your stake back as wins and another thing is I find it darn hard to trigger bonus/freespins on IGT slots.
Played a few of their slots like Fire Opals but never managed to get the bonus.

I do play them once a month or something not a huge fan of them, most gives tons of playtime but its small wins that keeps you going, only think i've managed to hit 100x+ 3-4times very hard tbh to get any huge hits.

But i also feel like its extremely hard to get features on most of there slots, a few i actually never managed to get it, but they are fun to play.

Fire Opals and its copies is very high varianced and it does take forever to get a feature and normal spins really dont pay back enough to keep going for a very long time but with those 3stacks wilds im sure top price is huge.

They feel and play the most like proper Vegas slots in my opinion ( a lot of them ARE real Vegas slots,)

I used to play them a lot - but probably replaced by the NetEnt lot to a large extent.

Cleopatra is up there as one of my all time favourites.

Have to agree with Kazzi I have never had any big wins with IGT software but having said that I have never lost a lot with them either, just some decent entertainment.

I had a really big win on Kitty Glitter once apart from that ever lucky on any of them although i have never gave them much playtime...

Ps. what gorgeous part of Ireland are you from. I am just back from a brill trip to Galway?

Galway is great indeed...
I live just an hour north of Dublin in a small village...
Nice and quiet... :D:D

Close to Newry in the north by the way where I do most of my shopping.

I love Bitten. It has a retriggerable climbing multiplier in the feature which can and does kick out big wins if you get at least two retriggers.

I suspect the variance on it is silly high so there are some serious dead patches as well, but when it's in the mood it rivals decent Microgaming payouts.

IGT are good IMO -they certainly aren't like NetBent slots, as they don't have the 1000x wins. But what they do do is go on streaks with wins 'overlapping' i.e. a decent win, then you get another before the last one has been spent thus building up a balance. I once withdrew over 4.5k from a 50 deposit on Cleopatra like that, but also raising stakes steadily. Retriggers are also more common, and shit bonus rounds a la netbent and MG paying 1-10x stake are much rarer, and you certainly won't get them many times on the bounce unlike those two.
Cleopatra, Cleopatra II, Dungeons and Dragons FOF, and Triple Fortune Dragon are my favourites, plus Da Vinci Diamonds for a Low-variance session, or Sumatran Storm for big-win potential and a bit of Higher Variance. Some like the Monopoly series but I find them inane.

I used to play them a lot - but probably replaced ...

Ditto that. I still dabble with Star Trek and Cleopatra 2 but most IGT slots require you to get the bonus symbols on specific reels and I am generally not a fan of that.

played for fun Monopoly by IGT yesterday and it took 40 minutes to see the feature. wild desire type was awarded at every ~50 spins and don't pay very much if is not connected with Houses symbol. i found them really boring.

I really like playing Siberian Storm and Enchanted Unicorn. The first one has stacked wilds and the latter has expanding wilds both on the middle 3 reels. I have gotten several big wins from both of them and both games seem to have the possibility to hit monster like wins.

I played IGT slots almost exclusively for the first few years I used on line casinos. They were familiar to me as some were the same as in UK land based casinos, in particular Cleopatra and Pharaoh's Fortune. I also played a lot on Star Trek and Monopoly Plus and still do even though I've now started to play MG slots as well.

I agree with most of the comments so far in that you certainly get more play time on IGT slots and whilst they do have dry spells, its unusual to go 400-500 spins without hitting a decent win or a bonus which I've found can be regular on MG slots. The best win I had on IGT slots was on Cleopatra which delivered a £1k win on a £1.50 spin, the best I've had on MG is £1.3k on Playboy on the same bet size. However in my opinion with MG slots you are in more danger of losing big in a relatively short period of time.

I would be interested to know how you got 667x stake on a single spin one Cleopatra - not possible AFAIK.

Also how you can do a £1.50 spin on Cleopatra. It is a 20 winline slot and the spins are ranging from 20p, 40p £1, £2, and so on are they not? Unless you did a 3 line spin on a 50p coin which would be a £1.50 bet

I reckon he played

Five lines at 30p each, total 1.50
And he hit four wilds on line 4 with Scarabs in positions 1, 3 and 5 in line 1. Total 10,050 pounds

Is that right Chris

Very easily achievable in free spins. Cleopatra has been known to spit out five scatters in free spins every now and again... I say very easy - unusual, but feasible.

That's actually my main gripe about Cleopatra. The payout for five scatters is terrible in relative terms.

Microgaming TS1 clones like Spring Break and Adventure Palace etc have very similar overall gameplay and an almost identical paytable to Cleopatra but the five scatters pays five times more which really hits home when it makes an appearance in freespins.

And as you say, these hits do come. Rare but not as rare as some would assume

Which would pay 300x stake (100x stake x 3) which still doesn't get close to his claim. Even if he got the 'dream' combo which pays 260 x stake (dog leg of scarabs or tassles with wild) as well in the SAME freespins session he wouldn't get close.

Even if he got 5 wilds in a line (never seen this or a screenie ever) that is only 500 x stake and limited to 500 x stake in the free spins too.

So, I sniff a bit of manure here unless Mark's right and for some inexplicable reason he played high-value but few lines. In fact Mark's idea I'm not sure would pay that much anyway, and I'm not sure either that the reel combo is possible.

Apologies all, the win was a number of years ago, but still the best I've had on an on line IGT slot and my memory has faded a bit, I need to be more specific-

I certainly did win £1000 on one spin on Cleopatra. These days I tend to bet £1.50 a spin so I thought this would have been my stake, but thinking about it more carefully, in the early days when playing IGT only I'd bet £2.00 or even £3.00 a spin. On Cleopatra it would likely have been £2.00 a spin (0.10 x 20 lines) It wasn't on a bonus round, it was 5 Cleos that came in, first and last time I've ever had 5 wilds on line in 5 years or so of playing! The casino was Get Minted. funnily enough I rarely play Cleopatra on line these days.

I've done better on land based on Cleopatra. I hit £3k on one spin in a bonus round when 5 scatters came in. Payouts seem significantly different on land based IGT vs on line.

Thanks for the comments, I hope this clarifies

Chris
