I have been confused by Ignition Casino's progressive jackpots, as in does the shared network mean the jackpot is shared with multiple casinos. I cannot seem to get a straight answer from Ignition on the phone, so I emailed and asked them a few questions but again they contradicted themselves. There two statements were in the email.

"We are unable to provide you with the progressive network that we use."
"We don't share slot games progressive jackpots with any other company."

Can anyone on here help me understand what Ignition is talking about, please?

Thank you so much!!

I believe most of their casinos are connected within the bodog group of casinos (bodog, bovada, ignition, slots.lv, cafecasino.lv), and most progressive jackpots are shared between the network. But support will usually tell you they have no relation to the other casinos in the group. They pretend not to be connected to each other for legal reasons, I presume.

Thank you for your reply.

What legal reasons would cause Ignition not to be transparent with their players about being connected to Bovada, Slots.lv etc?

The progressive slot jackpots on all three sites are identical amounts, so obviously they are shared because it would be impossible for this to be just a coincidence.

So why would Ignition tell me that their progressive slot jackpots are only for Ignition players to win?? Ignition states on their website that progressive jackpots are on a shared network, if the jackpots aren't shared, what network are they referring too?

Sorry, you must think I am an idiot but Ignition has become less transparent with players since becoming unregulated and stopped getting their RNG certified by a third party.

Anyone else feel this way about Ignition Casino, Bovada, Slots,lv etc??

Probably because technically they are illegally accepting USA players, as they are not licenced by any authority in America.
However, I hardly think it would take the FBI's top agent to work out they are linked! :p

The bodog group has a long history of corporate restructuring - mainly a consequence of trying to operate in different unregulated to gray area markets at the same time with questionable legal status, but apparently there were some weird shifts and ownership transfers going on years before the UIGEA (2006) even existed in the USA, so there may have been other reasons as well. There have been multiple instances of the entire player base (mainly of the USA) essentially being forcefully migrated to a new domain name - and then the "new" owner basically denying shared ownership.

So at first it was mainly just bodog, known for their sports book and later poker platforms. U.S. players then had their accounts migrated to bovada and were locked out of the main bodog site. Then, a couple years later, bovada locked USA players out of the poker room and migrated over to ignition (but the casino/sportsbook may have remained open to U.S. players? Not 100% sure). But about a year after that, Bovada reopened completely to U.S. players.

So now it's something like bodog serves canada, ignition serves U.S. and australia, and bovada serves U.S. and latin america. Those sites all operate on the same poker network with shared player pool and tables. Then they also opened up the more casino focused sites slots.lv and cafecasino.lv at some point - I'm not 100% sure what the situation with those two sites are, if they're actually run any differently from the main sites with the poker rooms. So the sites are obviously all connected, but the couple times I've asked about the status of an account they've denied any connection to the other websites.

Edit: I might have it backwards that the main bodog sites serves latin american countries + Canada while bovada serves U.S. + Mexico? Well, you get the idea anyway. There's also apparently a bodog88 site targetting the chinese market.

Haha....totally agree. So why does Ignition say that Bovada only shares customer service but nothing else, and that they are two separate companies?

The slot Progressive Jackpots are identical amounts on Bovada and Ignition; the websites are twins too. Neither site is licensed or regulated, so why lie?

I am just confused.

On another note KasinoKing, can I pick your brain please?

Is it possible for a casino to turn off free spins and bonus rounds on daily cashback on losses with a 1x play-through. I had lost a ton n Ignition and received $80 1x cashback and I got it up to $120 and had complerted the play-through when I played the same slot on auto play for over 600 spins with no free plays or a single bonus round. I play this slot a lot and never had this happen. Ignition is playing tighter then ever, and was wondering if you had heard any insider info of other players thinking something is up

Thank you in advance.

Thank you for your detailed answer.

DO you think any in this group actually have winners of progressive jackpots?

One progressive slot I play a lot is DRAGONS (one of the only slots with autospin works on my ipad). I have seen the jackpot reset to $1000 probably 50 times now after being between $5k - $10k, Ignition tells me that means a player won, randomly that jackpot but why have I NEVER heard of any player winning one. There are no BIG WINNERS listed on the Ignition website, not that those could not be faked but seems like players are winning thousands on progressive slots a day, which is hard to believe.

Opinions please?

Another thing is why no RTP posted for games? I found some of the software providers of Ignition's games and the RTP is posted on the developers websites, so why not Ignitions? I presume they lower them....

Sorry, but I can not answer any of your last three questions with any authority, because I simply do not know exactly how they operate in the areas you are concerned about. And no, I don't have any insider info!

My best GUESSES:
We know they bought the full rights to the RTG games they have, but I believe that is only so they can have RTG games alongside other providers, which no other casinos do to the best of my knowledge. I would think it highly unlikely they would "tweak" the games in any way; for one thing that would be a very difficult thing to do, and secondly why would they change games with pretty low TRTP's anyway?

They don't publish the TRTP's because they don't have to. I don't think any RTG casinos publish this info. I don't know about other providers.

Which game were you taking about in your last post?
If it's a very old RTG one, I might have some info on it.

Thanks for responding.

I am referring to the progressive slot game called DRAGONS. I cannot find the software developer and have asked Ignition, but they say that information is classified.

I have watched the progressive jackpot hit over $8k about 10x’sin the last 2-3 weeks and it reset back down to $1k seed amount. So some player is winning this “randomly” awarded jackpot almost daily??? Find that very hard to believe....as no player on any forums state they have one an Ignition progressive jackpot and Ignition doesn’t post recent winners.
