LadyLarissa and I are at the iGaming conference in Amsterdam at the moment. Here there are software vendors, game developers and loads of marketing folks - maybe some operators.

If you have any questions you'd like to pose - from a players perspective - or from an advertiser's - please post your questions in this thread - and if we see the right person, hopefully we can have a chat.

Cheers!

Really?? No one here has any questions for any operators, software folks, etc. :what:

I guess you're all smarter than I thought and don't need any info from anyone.

How pushy are do casinos feel to you developers to develop multiply rtp version or lower than normal 96% ? What would happen if you said no to develop low rtp versions? Or are you just in for the more profit and not for the players?

I think it's too hot to be firing up the 'ole noggin :p

Totally forgot about the conference or i might have tried to come by, much more fun to ask questions in person!
That said: maybe you can ask the likes of Push, Nolimit, Relax, Prag and a few others, what's up with the seemingly way too popular 'extra bet' you see on a lot of their recent slots..

I'm getting quite sick of it, and i also highly suspect the extra chance advertised more often than not is false..it feels more like you get a chance at extra chances, if you catch my drift? :D

I'd be interested what the psychology behind a feature as such would be, and of course if it's actually percentually correct, and not vague loophole wording?

Cheers mate - have fun in our 'lil country!

I'm supposed to ask someone that? :p

Just to be clear, the industry has changed especially with nearly every government trying to get involved - thus really ramping up costs for the casinos to operate. The changes that you have been seeing about RTPs being lowered and certain fees being absorbed by players (and affiliate webmasters for that matter) have to do with survivability and NOT about increasing profits. It is not 2003 - it's 2023 with a highly regulated market - sometimes over regulated.

Just sayin'.

FWIW and AFAIK there is no need to "develop" lower RTP versions, only need to tweak the settings on the RNG a bit and voila! RTP changed to pretty much whatever you like. Admittedly my first-hand knowledge is a decade old but it's a pretty fundamental bit of game structure so I'd be a bit surprised if it has changed in any drastic way.

But then you have the few providers like BTG who do not budge and normally have the higher end still. There are still providers out there, but they are getting less and less.
