I wonder what happens if I re-spin the middle reel.

Today I finally hit a big feature on the new game at GNUF(MG).
After I got this, I felt really itchy on re-spin the middle reel:oops::oops::oops:.
I had to have a smoke and repeat telling myself, save for the rainy days.:lolup:
Shame I do not have VWM's deep pocket.

Lol... Thats the problem. If it were any other Slot, it wouldn't even cross your mind. Thing is, you can hit it (or eventually will) ... but at what cost? Are you willing to risk close to $500 to see if it will happen?:p

Nate

I would say you have approximately a 1 in 12.2 chance of hitting the same win again.

I'm assuming this because 12.2 x $475.14 (12.2 spins) would cost you $5,796, which gives a 5% house edge on the amount you would win ($5,525).

Just guessing!

I MIGHT be tempted, but would realise how DANGEROUS giving in to such temptation might be.

Rather than respining the middle reel, the LAST one would be a better option, since if you fail you STILL have 4OK.

It might be worth playing this game on "fun mode" to get a feel for the risks and rewards of this rather DANGEROUS feature.

A one in 12 chance does NOT necessarily mean you will GET it again and recover that 5K should it be played back in the attempt. It could be 100 spins before it returns, and you would be facing a HUGE loss, rather than an extra 5K. The odds are actually BETTER with the standard "double up" gamble on other slots, but I would NOT risk such a big hit like this.

If you leave the game & cash out, you may find the state preserved next time you enter, so you could cash out the 5K, and leave enough for just one or two respins, and if these fail you would NOT have the rest of the win "handy" to go mad with.

From a mathematical perspective, it would be interesting to get the reelstrips and check the assumption that the respin cost represents a fair deal. Maybe MGS screwed up, you never know;)

Just double checked... The 4oak is disregarded - No Win. As an example, you must get a symbol on the 5th reel to complete the payout.

Can somebody else confirm?

Nate

Yes, I would not recommend using the respin feature to anybody. The risk of losing your entire bankroll in a few spins is just too large.

The only time it may be worth it is occassionally trying to get the free spin feature. That's because it doesnt cost too much to respin when you have 2 scatters and the free spins can sometimes pay alot so the risk reward payoff can be worth it.

This is probably because the RESULT of the free spins cannot be taken into account when pricing the respin, so I expect an average value is used, rather than an EXACT one. The free spins could just as easily give little or nothing, despite several respin attempts to get it.

Are you sure?

That sounds really really silly.

So, if he respins the last reel @$400+ and doesn't hit something to make 5OAK he gets nothing? I thought that after the respin the reel wins are calculated again and paid accordingly.

Yes, its a real all-or-nothing feauture.
If they did not do this it would be a perfect tool for making bonusplaythrough.
At least thats my guess.
Playing insane high bets without too much risk.

Now its one more reason to stay as far away as I can from these games.

Yes, if you do not get 5OK and you get nothing.

This is dangerous game, I now know. After this great hit. I tried this game in 32red. it cost me about 3.5K respin to get 1K payout. So yeah, I say I learned my lesson.:oops:

You know what, this game behaves like EWP slots. Sometime it tricks you to do the respin. Few times I got 1 missing from 5OK and I keep chasing and lose...

Until, I put enough, I did 5 deposits and total 3.5K to get something like this.

I did a lot of test on this slots and have spend about 5K on low beting, high beting.the more I play, the more I feel it is a hybrid with slots and EWP.

I think from EWP side, I do not have much say than VWM, hope if he had time, he can study this slots a bit.

This slots has big potential, and you can somehow force the payout.

I do not have that kind of deep pocket and 5K is max I can put in to study on it.

result: I total got top pay (5 $)
GNUF: 2 times total paid 5+1K
GoWid: 2 times total paid 1.25K
32red: 1 time 1K

Total deposits: 13.25K

Tips: You can respin on low value reel and make a top payout featue from nothing -
Attached top payout, from start, I only get 2 $ symbol at 1st reel and 4th reel.
I made top pay line out from just 2 in a payline.

Hi KK:

If you want to have a test run, make sure do not use bonus, it could break the T&C from casino and redeemed as bonus abuse.

cheers
