Dear Customer,

I am writing to you today to let you know about a recent business matter in our company. Because I believe that you and all of our loyal customers are the most important aspect of our business, I wanted you to be among the first to know, and we also wish to clear up any misunderstandings.

Recently, Trump Entertainment Resorts, Inc., the parent company of our properties, filed a petition for Chapter 11 bankruptcy for the Company and its affiliates. This type of action is most commonly referred to as a restructuring, and is completely separate and distinct from liquidation bankruptcy proceedings, which of course, we have all recently heard about on the news. The filing follows other recent announcements by the Company that included steps that have been taken to maintain sufficient liquidity in the face of the extraordinarily difficult economic environment that is negatively impacting businesses across America.

First of all, let me assure you that we place great emphasis on providing outstanding entertainment experiences and maintaining meaningful relationships with our customers. We thank you for your loyalty to the Company and want you to know clearly that the restructuring will not have an impact on our customers or the experience we provide at our properties.

Importantly, todays action will result in no change in our daily operations, and we assure you that all of your comp dollars, slot dollars and other offers and events you have come to expect as a Trump OneSM customer will not change. Your Trump One account and benefits will not be affected in any way whatsoever.

Overall, this is another step in a long and complicated process. We continue to focus on our ultimate goal of successfully reorganizing our company to reduce our debt in order to strengthen our balance sheet during this difficult economic period.

The bottom line is that we are engaged in a process that is necessary to recapitalize our company so that we can continue to grow and provide you with the finest gaming and entertainment experiences. During this process, our customers will remain unaffected, and we will continue to strive to provide even higher levels of service, entertainment and excitement every single day.

I look forward to seeing you again soon.
Sincerely,

I don't understand is it "business as usual"?

Due to the decline in the market this is the only way they can protect themselves. So my initial question is during the bankruptcy proceedings will they temporarily close the 3 properties until they get this sorted out or continue to open and conduct usual business. Because I don't think people will like to lose vast amounts of money if there weren't some sort of return so to speak.

The way most corporate businesses operate during a restructuring procedure will not have much, if any at all, noticed impact on their customers and in the casino business you will walk into the casino and not notice any difference unless they have laid off a few beverage servers or something along those lines.
