Hey guys and gals,

I have officially retired from work and that was in late Dec. last year. I am entitled to a monthly pension that allows me to live fairly comfortably with some spare dough for betting on horse races and football matches. Unfortunately, I cant play at online casinos anymore as there is now no depositing option for me. Over the years, credit cards, neteller skrill and now ecopayz just wont work for players from Hong Kong.

I am also looking closely at political developments in my city with the police being pitted against the citizens. Turbulent times indeed. I shall be popping up once in a while. Happy 2020 btw.

Well congrats on that Chu! And a happy 2020 to you also! Not having to work anymore is surely a good start :)
I'm sure if you really want to you'd find a way to play online somewhere, but sportsbetting isn't that bad to get the extra kick: even i - not being a sportsfan at all - enjoy it :p

Perhaps in the meantime we can serve as proxy of sorts :D
How about Land Based Casinos? What;s Honk Kong doing there? I vaguely recall reading about some island in the neighbourhood that was a gambling paradise of sorts for a lot of folks in your general region?

Hong Kong legally allows betting on horse racing and football through the Jockey Club.

The place which has surpassed Las Vegas in turnover is Macau but after my stroke in 2010 I cannot travel to the enclave anymore. In addition I need to watch my health after removed a huge tumour and one kidney in late 2016. I am trying to register at less heard of e-wallets like Jeton and Webmoney but no success just yet.

Maybe a move to the UK then?

The gaming laws are so relaxed here nowadays, we can deposit what we like, spin any stakes, never asked for any docs, buy the BTG features save waiting 10,000 spins etc etc :p

Enjoy your retirement.
Hong Kong was a colony of the UK before 1997 and I am acquainted with several Britons but I love the Chinese style of living, the food et al. Other than watching my favourite team Arsenal in action I dunno what else I should do.

Congratulations man!
I am seriously thinking about joining you in the near future (this year), as this job is just getting harder and harder and less rewarding month by month. I used to REALLY enjoy it because it was fun and interesting, but these days it's just a constant uphill slog :(
Good luck and enjoy your freedom!

I recall you sharing the same name as my younger brother KK and you are slightly younger than me. I spend a lot of time watching events unfold in Hong Kong and write a lot at the forums in our only English local newspaper

Well "retire" from working nearly every spare minute of every day trying to make my websites better and more helpful and informative for players, yes. For the last 2 years I have put in loads of effort and only seen a decline in my stats. Not "proper retirement" I suppose as I will still be earning from existing contracts and would keep at least 2 sites running... unless someone wants to make me a decent offer to buy the whole lot off me!
Don't want to be morbid, but I'm rapidly approaching 60 and who knows how much longer I've got? I want to live what's left of my life to the full, not work myself into my grave!
