No matter where I play I can't hit a thing. Bad streak? Maybe. Rest period now. When the US is a viable entity in the gaming community I will be back! Right now I feel like an outcast.

I am playing poker at Bodog for funny money. It is fun. Cleaning my house. My husband is so happy. :D

Selling on eBay. That is fun. It is amazing what you have in your house when you start going through it.

Good luck all! I will be on the forum of course! The forum is part of the addiction and you are all so nice. :p

No US players playing = nobody winning, most US players won't go through all the hoops just to make a deposit to play so the machines aren't getting coin in they won't give any coin out.

Sad but true

Coin In

For a fair game, it shouldn't have anything to do with how much it takes in, etc...

Hope you start hitting again Addisyn! I miss your winner SS's ;)

The only types of games that should be affected are the progressives. They will cycle much more slowly now that over 70% of the throughput has gone, and this will make them harder to market to the rest of the playing community, as they will hit only a third as often as they used to (as they are being played only a third as much). This will look to the uninitiated as though they have become much tighter, as online players can't look around to see how "crowded" their casino is (except at Intercasino!).

I noticed this effect at King Solomon's Pound casino. The random jackpots are all just above 1000, whereas they are a variety of amounts at other RTG sites. The rep told me that there are few players at the pound version, and I noticed that when I was hammering away at the slots yesterday, the random jackpot meters started to climb again. (Maybe I am their only customer:what: )

I used to enjoy selling stuff on eBay. Problem is, I usually bought more junk than I sold. LOL Also... the last time I had a stuff for sale, I had 3 buyers as no pay. And what a bunch of crap you have to go through to try to either get them to complete the transaction, or to get eBay to return fees, etc. Not as much fun for me as it once was. Having said that, I do have a jillion playing cards and Tarot cards I need to sell. I don't know how or why I thought I had to have so many... Need to keep the favorites/best and sell the others.... That will be a good rainy day task, sorting through decks of cards.

I can't find a card locally that will work at casinos. Couldn't find one at WalGreens (GreenDot and Vanilla seem to be the flavors of choice in this area) when I went shopping out of town. So I'm SOL for any way to gamble right now. Don't want to order cards online and give them my CC#.

Not that it really matters, I'd been losing so badly since last March that I'd cut waaaaay back on deposits. I miss it, but playing in play mode has reminded me that I'm unlucky as hell and just can't hit chit. :p So there's no need to put real money in, anyway.

I am sitting back and decided the money I would spend gambling I am using to redecorate my apartment. Hubby was happy that I could not gamble online but wait til he sees what I spend redecorating. He may wish I was gambling again! lmaoooooo.

Re

I have been selling on ebay for many years. The wy I avoid the no payers,
is by putting a clause if they have less than 10 feedback, they need to contact me before bidding. If they have less than 10 and bid, I cancel thier bid. If they try again and still fo not contact me, I ban them from bidding on my aucions. I have had no non payers anymore as a result. You will find that if you are selling a highly competative product that sometimes its the compotition that bids up your item so they get the bids on thiers.

Hmm... maybe I could sell random screenshots on ebay as 'surprise packages' :) the worlds slowest slot machine

I set up hoops for people to bid on my items as well. No negative feedback within the last 3 months I believe it is, must have a PayPal account for big ticket items (I am selling a computer right now), must have at least 10 transactions. I simply cancel bidders who don't comply. I have only run into a scammer once who used a stolen credit card. It wasn't a tangible item so I lost nothing.

The only types of games that should be affected are the progressives.

I totally agree with your statement VWM. The operative word is should.

Re

Im opposite. Big ticket items are postal money order only, that way I cash it before shipping in the post office. I had a paypal payment reversed on a high ticket item once and was out both money and item, so I do it this way.

If it's not taking anything in there's nothing to pay out, they just don't give money away you know.

Again, a fair slot should not be influenced by how much it's been played..

When playing a fair slot, you should have an equal chance of winning on any spin you make, no matter what the circumstances.

If someone plays and wins $10,000 on 100 spins, and the casino only takes in $1,000 for the day, that's just their bad luck that they only took in $1,000. Most notoriously, it was the "start your own casino" software that would do as you're describing above. They would not let a player win unless the casino was in the positive for deposits vs. withdraws. ie: Rigged

I give up too

I closed my Click2Pay account this morning. It was the only way I had to deposit funds (I have account issues with netspend that have not yet been resolved), so I guess I won't be gambling online for now. It's a drag but I had to do it; it doesn't make sense to be able to deposit monies but not withdraw any. I'd be completely nuts (I'm only partly nuts right now), to continue to play under these circumstances. I believe that the casinos I played at (Trident Egroup mostly) were honest and the odds on their slots were fair. I won much more there than I did on land based casinos. But I can't fight these banking rules -- and I can't just give away money without any hope of getting any back.

Oh well, it's for the best. I have many other things that I can do with my money. But I will miss playing.:(

You can still use Netspend - Just get the gift cards.

It is becoming increasingly difficult to make a withdrawal. What other casinos other than BoDog are accepting the Netspend option?

I just cashed out from Intertops and had to do a Bank Wire at a cost of $40.00 ($30.00 charged by Intertops; $10.00 charged by my bank). It made my head hurt.

So disgusted with this whole mess!

It is interesting to see how well the US legislation seems to work. This makes me wonder how dangerous online gambling will become for players. It seems the legit and reliable casinos are running out of ways to manage payments. I think the US has paved a path that is perfect for online gambling to become a dark horse and breeding ground for money laundering and fraud.

I am so proud of South Africa not allowing criminals like Frist and Bush (Yes I said it, they are criminals) to sign laws into place that will make online gambling so dangerous and not thinking of the protection and rights of their fine citizens, is criminal.

We went through the SA gambling bill a few days ago to be able to give feedback and make suggestions to improve it (Only time until Monday to comment on it). I must say the US government is approaching this all wrong, it is clear when looking at this bill protecting people, but allowing them their democratic right.

What worries me is that on the surface it seems like the legislation is working in the US. The next thing we can expect is a press release from US government telling everyone just how successful the legislation has been, because everything will be pushed underground and there will be no official records. US citizens will not be able to launch official complaints if they do not get paid out of fear of prosecution! Nobody will be able to talk out of fear of prosecution!
