I deposited $200 around 1 am this morning by 2:30 am I was up around $2100 now I am broke. LMAO! I woke up with the fever for the flavor. But it was all sour grapes. I can't not believe myself. If I didnt have 27k in my day-trading account. I would throw the computer out the window. I really dont use it but for online gaming and stocks. I know I will make my $200 back tomorrow morning doing the first 30 mins of trading. But JC I just threw away $2000 of free $$$. BOY AM I SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the reason I didnt cashout was because I closed all my Neteller and Firepay. But like a dumbass I deposit via instant check. But inorder to request a withdraw I have to wait 10 business days. So you know how that works. 10 days? $2000 in my playing account? $hiiiiiiiiiiiiiit, I'll be broke in 10 mins much less 10 days

oh man!......i've been there though not with that much of balance.

best defense against that in the future is to take some profits when you're up......just like with stocks.......were you drinking?

I accumulated a few thousand playing last fall then blew $1000 of it in a few minutes one November evening. I swore I'd never do it again.

Then I almost had a relapse after a $500 win last week. Fortunately I hit the table max, which brought me to my senses and I cashed out.

OK

Please make me feel better. Tell me that someone out there was up atleast $1000 and gave it all back. (Im not talking about reverse withdraws) Im talking about not cashing out at all and losing it.

I briefly flirted with 1000 at Vegas Villa, but cashed out a mere 400 when it all went south. Much of this southward motion was on a high variance game that I "swore not to get too involved with today". I managed to bail out at 400 before the indignity of going broke!

At 32Red, I had a nice run on VP to 700, and gave it all back by the end on the turn. 100 in, 700 peak, and 0 at the end.

Surely you must feel better now:D

B&M casino in London a few years back, was up 6000 even had it all cashed in and had a pocket full of crisp 50 notes. Gave it all back except 200 before the night was out, I was sick all the way home and slept the rest of the weekend.

I'm sorry , that really sucks . I always cashout when I get up there ...think I learned my lesson losing a few hundred late one night ..Just learn something from it and don't do it again .

A few years ago I won 11000 in one session from a 300 deposit at Ladbrokes playing roulette.

I blew it all the next afternoon at 300 a spin.

I have hardly ever played roulette since.

My biggest loss would have to be up $450, able to withdraw $300 of that, rest was in an EZ bonus. At this point I already made 5x my original deposit. But for some reason I NEEDED to finish that EZ bonus. Damn it all to hell. Left with nothing. Loss of $50 of my own money, but a drop like that, makes me mad. Low Roller MAD!

You want me to make you feel better??? Hows this? I won $31000 in one night starting with a $100 deposit. Blew it all but $4000 in 3 days.(back in 2002) More recently blew $5000 won on one spin during Isis free spins...blew $2000 from 4 of a kind Let it Ride... blew $3000 of accumulated wins at Spin Palace. Yeah I am very lucky with winning...I just SUCK at cashing out!

That's what make the operators billionaires. I read one story about Bodog's owner at Forbes.com and that made me sick as we are the ones funding them.

You are not alone! Me too !
My tick is not to reverse cashout, I am pretty good at that - done is done.
But how oft I tried stubbornly to make it to round sum, for example, I make 987 out of 70-100, time to cash out, isn'it? Nooooo, I MUST round it to 1000, then to 900, 700 and so on bis ZERO!- very round sum, indeed...

Try something else eg $888 or $777 depending on your balance.

LOL!

No, I am trying another method now - to cashout when I double my balance, I cashout sum equal my deposit and play further with the rest. Sometimes, I manage it...

Funny you should ask...

Unfortunately I've done it more than once. Over a week ago I was on a bad losing streak. Down to my last $100 and I decided I wasn't feeding anyone else's bankroll, I decided to play and call it a night. On any given night, I start the ritual of playing certain games first, but this night was different.

I started with Avalon and was playing 2 coins @ 1.00 and I hit the free spins and cleared $200. Went over to Hot Shot (because w/in 10 spins I hit the 3 scatters) and played somewhere in the 1st 20 spins managed to get 3 sets of 3 scatters - they pay 10X). Was playing 4.50 so I got $45, then lowered bet every 4 times, then hit $45 again, and so on. Increased my bet to $9 and hit 4 scatters within like 5 spins. Not sure what else I hit (if anything) and got like $400+ each time. Great bankroll from $100.

All I remember is seeing $1400 at one point and thinking....when I get to $1500, I'll cashout. I got greedy and went back to Hot Shot and yeah, well, it got cold, fast. I played around, carelessly, like it was freakin play money....as if my Audi's paid for.

Needless to say I busted out and haven't played since. I'm in "time out" right now. I had the fever sooo bad and thought I had learned the lesson, seeing as I have done this like 4x already. Good thing I didn't NEED that money. Did I just say that? Maybe that didn't come out right. But you know what I mean. It was time for a break anyways. ;)

This may sound even worse...but I'm glad that I'm not the only one out there that gets the fever so bad that it whips my @ss. That's what keeps my adrenaline flowing and my pockets flatter, I guess

Yea that's it for me for a while. I lost a grand of my own money gambling and I lost $2500 today in stock market. I think Im through with this $hit for awhile. The whole internet can kiss my a$$ now. Im putting this computer in storage after I cash out from VIP Casinos in a few days. I am finished, I refuse to make another stupid bet. I had it and I wagered it, FOR WHAT? Just to have nothing and looking stupid. I think I will just save my $$$ and goto the Real Casino maybe twice a month. You guys can have this Online Gaming. It just too easy to access and too easy to lose. Infact I might just close out my bank account and move 60% into gold and silver and rest cash. Forgot about checks and credit cards. And live life for once.

I've done this loads of times LHM - you're not alone. I therefore implemented a fairly strict strategy for this...and it works (for me!). If it helps, I've written it up Outdated URL (Invalid).

Cheers

Simmo!

I am also a number rounder.

Once I saw cashout records from one of my friends. As a number-rounder fanatic, I was shocked  It looked aproximately so:

213.12
15.04
326.01
1025.98

and even

4.59

As I asked him how come to such bizare sums, he couldn't understand what I am talking about - for him it was normal! :eek2: He said he usually doesnt leave anything in his account and cashout all and it doesn't bother him at all if it also includes pennies. :D
BTW, his is never in minus,eg. if he doesn't feel lucky, he cashed out the rest even if its a couple of $$. No complexes about it!:p

and it's in euros as well :D

even though I now live in France and use the euro everyday, when I play and cash out I like to figure out the amount in s

I won't cash out 100 because it's about 66.66 and try to work it up to 150 and nice round 100, may be that's why I lose so often

As I moved to Germany (from N.Y.), I used to calculate 'how much is it in $$$' everytime I went shopping 2-3 years before I finally got used to DM, and then after DM would transform in , the same story, even now sometimes I ask myself 'How much it would be in DM?'. :)
