The phone rang and I heard, "You've received a message from a Fido customer, to hear it press 1" so I press one, and it's an automated promotional deposit offer from Casino Splendido. I hang up, the phone rings again, "You've received a blah blah..." and it's the same message. I bounce over to Casino Splendidos web site, hit the live chat button....

Carmen: Hi, how may we be of assistance?
Me: Hi, I just received 2 automated phone calls about deposit bonuses
Me: I don't want to receive those calls
Carmen: Certainly, please may I have the number they are going to?
Me: yes it's ***-***-****
Me: this is the first time I've gotten them
Me: hopefully the last
Me: lol
Carmen: Please allow me a moment to stop them for you.
Me: thank you
Carmen: The automated calls have now been stopped is there anything else I may assist you with?
Me: that's everything, thanks very much
Carmen: It's a pleasure have a great day further.
Me: you too, thanks again
Me: bye!
Carmen: Good Bye

 The whole thing took about one minute.

Side note, those automated messages with the woman's voice who sounds like she's drowning are just creepy. :eek2:
