I think most the money is for that reason, that they expect him to try harder and the others not too, with it being his last race. Fingers crossed.

So it is basically the distance between the first horse to the second horse over the 6 race card given the heavy going and the quality of opposition horses i think there could be some wide margin winners.

For example race 1 is a 2 horse race if 1 horse falls and the other gets round then thats a great start. Even if a horse wins by 100 lengths the maximum you receive for NH in one race is 30 lengths and on the flat 12 lengths. So could potentially be on 30 Lengths after race 1 however it could be a tight finish ad only be a neck between 1st and 2nd which would be an awful start.

As it is a spread bet for every length over 65 I receive 1 unit so lets say for example my unit stake is £10 and the distances over the card finish at 80 then I win 15 x £10 £150. However if they ended on 50 then i would be 15 off the line of 65 and owe 15 X £10 £150 spread betting can be very dangerous and you have to have a decent bank to get the bet on so they know the losses can be covered.

Its great for crickets Runs the most famous being when Brain Lara hit over 440 runs people bought his runs in that test at 60 runs so they were getting whatever their unit stake was every time he got a run over the 60th run however if he went for 0 they would have owed 60 times the stake.

Cheers bud. I am a simple soul who sticks to what I'm used too. I shall keep my fingers crossed while watching the racing at Catterick. Ive been to the track and I bet its very heavy going today :thumbsup:

The first two won in my first bet.
I have heard a few stories of most of the big bookies restricting/banning punters if they deem that they are winning too much. Unfortunately I've never been one of them :(
PP are great with me in the sports side. On the slotting I have had very little luck.

I backed them both in singles, was just looking at the races as they came along rather than looking through the cards and doing multiples, but still a great profit for me.

I was lucky to have came out of those bets about 10% up which I can't really be unhappy with.
On top of that I was given a free bet mid afternoon at Ladbrooks. I stuck it on Mountain Brave in the 6.45 which won at 8-1. I was going to take that horse over Deolali. If I had I would have been well up on the day. But I can't grumble :)

Everybody seeing this thread needs to learn from stupidness like this all day I fancied Norwich to win I knew Leicester had a few players out and Norwich are fighting for their lives.

Norwich covered the corners but only scored 1 so I was a goal short the issue here is I wasnt happy with Norwich at 7/2 to win a home and looked for a bigger price pure greed I can cope with losing bets I lose many of them but it annoys me that ive not backed Norwich outright and looked for a bigger price instead of following the head
 
Fancy a treble tomoz, will be going e/w for entertainment value.
Anything worth a punt on the early meetings as I’m at horse riding with the daughter tomoz, watching her makes my nerves bad so would much prefer watching or listening to a other horse without my child on it haha

I have already took a look at the irish racing and I had an eye on a few. But I can't honestly tell anyone to put their money on anything when my knowledge is to limited.

I'm apposing you in all of those races. It did seem pretty sodding at Doncaster yesterday so I'm surprised its still on too.
