Hope everyone had a great Christmas. Yesterday was a blowout for me, did a £20 4 fold to return £850, 3 winners, and a 2nd. Did a £10 11 fold on the football, 10 winners and Man Utd grrrrrr, that cost me another £500. Hopefully I do a bit better today.
In the big race in Ireland I can't fancy Squouateur, even though he's favourite. Bay Of Freedom at 20-1 is a good EW bet though. I follow the owners blog on this horse and his thoughts are here
and I really hope he runs well for him.
In the 12.40 Bunk Off Early has had a colic operation, and if there are no after effects from it then the owners expect him to win.
Min will win the 1.15 but at 1/4 isn't for me.
In the 1.20 Shantou Rock should be good enough to beat these.
1.25, Pause And Ponder is the best horse in the race, but at 7/4 in a field this size, it worrys me that he was pulled up last time, so although he should win, I'll probably leave him out.
The 1.50 is a muddling race but Mengli Khan has the best form, and is the current favourite for the Supreme hurdle at Cheltenham, so presumably has to win today to keep that position.
The lack of market support for Global Rose in the 2.45 suggests Gay Kellaway hasn't got this one ready yet, so the selection has to be Rizzle Dizzle along with I Was Only Joking for the forecast.
I can't see Wait Here being beat by anything in the 3.45
A couple later in the week at short prices, but 1.55 Friday, Monalee should win (currently EVS), and tomorrow in the 1.50, I can't see past Apples Jade (currently 11/10).
