High Noon Problem - I'm not a student

Hello together - i have a serious problem with high noon casino:

Unfortunately there was a missunderstanding between the operator and me during the verification process on the telephone.
I'm from Germany and I'm not used to talk in English. As a consequence I didn't understand the question concerning studying. I thought the question was if I have ever studied and so I agreed.
In fact the question was if I study at the moment and if I'm a fulltime student.
As a result their was the impression that I am a full time student at the moment, which is definetely not the case!

I work in a company and studied for a short period some years ago (but I didn't finish it). So I work full time at a company now and I don't study. Therefore I sent my last payment bill form my comapny to the cashier.

I hope that this underlines that it was just a missunderstanding on the telephone and my account can be reopened.

Do you think I have a chance here? Or what else should I do?

I played with the 60$ no depoist bonus and won 2.500 (including a jackpott). As well i fulfilled the requirements. I know that I can only cash out 300$. Will the rest be deleted?
Thx a lot in advance.

Boekel, If you can prove you are actually working full-time that should suffice and its likely they will reopen your account though I wonder how you could possibly misunderstand their asking you whether you are studying now and you thought whether they asked whether you had studied before. If you thought they are asking for your level of education that would make more sense.

On your other query, since its a no-deposit bonus, there is a cap on your win amount. I am pretty sure its not as high as 2.5K. Didnt bother to check what it is but I won on the same bonus last year and they paid promptly.

Chuchu there is a huge different in being able to write and read english, and speak it. I can assure you that even though I believe I'm good in english, I almost not understand anything when they call me from casinos. I'm not surprised at all if he understood it wrong.

Casino should prove you are a student within a few business days. If not they should pay. Anything more than ids, passport, adress verification and proof of deposit is to much. They can have this notarized aswell if they prepay. Just my 2 cents.

Lesson 1 - Forget it. The house always has the long term advantage.

Lesson 2 - There is a limit to the number of freebies you can take before you get shut down. This is because many casinos are in groups, and players are tracked between the casinos in any one group.

Lesson 3 - Assume this will cost you money in the short term. If you end up winning, it's a bonus. Most players end up down overall.

If you want to gain an edge, poker is more likely to provide this, however there are a great many smart players, and a wealth of software tracking tools available, many of which are prohibited by the poker rooms, but nevertheless get used in the hope it will go undetected.

This student issue is a quirk of Club World casinos, but other casino operators have other oddities in their terms that can catch you out. There are also rogue operators who will try anything to rip off a winning player.

One other way to show that you are not currently a student is to show documentation of you leaving study, such as a graduation certificate. Evidence of full time employment will also rule you out as being a full time student.

What matters is your status when you played, and once you can show you are not currently a student, you should be able to get your account reopened.

I agree with Tirilej on this. I DO speak, read and write English, BUT when I am on the phone with some tech person who DOESN'T speak English it gets very confusing and frustrating when I have to keep asking them to repeat their answers.

To the OP, have you tried contacting the casino rep here and explaining your situation?

Here is the link to the CWC rep, you can send him a PM (it's the weekend so you may have to wait until Monday)

Good luck, I hope you get your winnings!

Thanx a lot for all yours answers and remarks. That really helped me. I wrote a PM to the CWC responsible now. I hope the missunderstanding can be solved.

Its not the comprehension of the English Language but the common sense that gets me bewildered. Why would a casino ask whether you had studied before. As I said, asking for your level of education would make more sense.
