Definitely getting harder day after day...

I just heard yesterday that a reputable RTG operator is pulling out of Aus after being threatened with multi-million dollar fines.
If THEY are pulling out, I can't see how the others based in the EU (like Videoslots etc) will be able to carry on in any form in your region.
Grim times for Aussie punters wanting a little flutter... :(

Welcome to the forum

Casinos use of bitcoins for deposits.....its untraceable as to what you are doing with it?

Isn't that how usa players are getting around it?

It is and more and more places are now accepting all sorts of crypto currencies, which is helpful if you know your way around them.

Been meaning to say, since you mentioned the U.S. They have a dedicated forum here, I think that we (Aussies) need a specific forum just like that to keep out the prying eyes. Maybe Australia The Ugly.

Oh and welcome to CM Peach:thumbsup:

No, not really.

Casinos only started accepting Bitcoins relatively recently (like in about the last 2 years max I would say) - but American players have been playing online in pretty big numbers ever since the UIGEA in 2006.

Bitcoin certainly makes it a lot easier going forward though - especially for withdrawals

yeah i haven't got my head around the whole bitcoin thing yet...and i only play at video slots and so far can still deposit using visa. But they haven't added the bitcoin option yet so an unable to test it out. It seems too confusing and not worth the hassle to be honest....
can anyone recommend a good bitcoin site/wallet for aussies to use purely for gambling?
Also, annoyingly i have like $20 in my neteller account, can i use neteller to buy bitcoin?

Cheers for the welcoming replies guys :)
