Bryan it appears that anyone not logged on that is using windows64 wow is treated like they are trying to view your site in a frame. Some of your content (the adds) are not visible.

Thanks for the heads up. I was tweaking the .htaccess files a couple of weeks ago and this may have something to do with it.

ya it looks like you got it.

Don't want to be accused "again" of going back on my word about not posting here anymore.

But I did see where you might have needed a heads up.

I don't post here anymore, I don't agree with your support of ECOGRA.

Lotso,

You do not have to agree with everything other folks think or do. You have a unique and intelligent value to this forum. Why would you not post and help others just because you do not agree with Bryan about Ecogra? Hell, I think Ecogra is a toothless entity, almost a puppet sock of Microgaming!

I am not the only one that gains knowledge and insight with your many postings. This forum needs members like you, Lotso, please believe that.

I'd say Lots0 is about to return.

Boycotting the forum simply because there are other members who don't happen to share your opinions or support your views just doesn't make sense. Unless you really feel you are the odd man out...and that's a pretty hard distinction to claim in a membership as large and diverse as Casinomeister!

...I don't post here anymore, I don't agree with your support of ECOGRA.

Funny how that overshadows everything that I support:

Haiti Relief aid - we raised nearly $25k in four days.
Player and affiliate complaint center aka PAB
The rogue section that is under constant change.
Three newsletters - Meister Mail, Meister Blatt (industry), Meister Wire (webmaster).
A funny joke section.
Lasagna.
Mountain biking.
My love for beer.
Webcasts.
Jovial jocularities.
Advice for newbies players.
Film and music references.
Topless beaches.
Webmastering.
Shooting guns.
Summer grill parties.

In fact, there are a number of people on this forum that don't see eye-to-eye with me on every issue that pop ups. But if you can't agree to disagree, then that's your choice.

Don't forget the 100% support for advanced electronics repair techniques: Ed's Super fix it.

There are things I don't support either but that doesn't stop me posting here or other places.

The way I see it, boycotting anything merely turns a voice silent.

I sure hope you reevaluate your call lots0. In my eyes your one of the voices that needs to be heard.

Cheers

:)

It's all about how you handle exchanges of opinion and differences of viewpoint, I think.

It would be pretty anodyne if we all agreed on everything, and that doesn't preclude posters from stating a personal view in a polite and controlled fashion - not always easy to do when you are passionately for or agin' something, I know, but generally more effective.

For posters who too easily take things personally, and can't hold it together, maybe one of the less balanced alternative forums out there is a better bet. There are plenty of them.

To those of you that said nice things about me, Thank You very much. It's really nice to know you are appreciated.

To the others that said not so nice things about me (you know who you are)... up yours.

I already regret starting this thread, I should have just sent an email about the problem or just not bothered at all.

Never pays to try to be the nice guy...

Eh? I think everyone is supportive of a "wide range of viewpoint" type of forum, and no one said anything not nice about you.

Great attitude. That and a can of gasoline will set everything right.

Come on LotsO,

you know I for one love your posts, have told you that many times over, your one of the honest guys who tell it like it is, it's either black or white with you and thats what I like.

Nearly all of your posts ARE spot on and thats another thing I enjoy about them, gees mate, your Charlie Sheen from Young Guns- you ride with the posse but have a good heart and speak the truth.

I dont want you to go down like a blaze of glory.

Regards,

same_old

I don't think Lotso would want to go down in "balze of glory" either, Same_old. :lolsign:

I am not picking on you Same_old, but the typo hit a nerve! I laughed for five minutes in front of my keyboard.

Hell, Same_old, you and I are on the same page, we want to hang on to one of our most respected members. We will just have to wait and see if Lotso will come back or not.

Sorry half the time I type I am at work and am either being spoken to or am looking around the room, not to mention my spelling and grammer is shocking, im the first to admit that.

changed it so noone laughs at me anymore,

lol, god im shocking.

Talk about screwing thinge up! I used to be in charge of writing "how to manuals". Then one day, I totally screwed one up. The entire manufacturing line did a nose dive. My fault. It totally sucked. LOL I never have forgotten that mistake, although time made me think a little more rationally about it.

People are human, they are not perfect beings. And mistakes will always happen.

Speak for yourself. :p

J/K, in all seriousness, I would sincerely hope that Lots0 will reconsider. Maybe just a break is what's needed. I've taken them myself.

And lots0, it doesn't matter if you agree with everyone or with no one. Everyone has an opinion, and everyone is entitled to it. If I quit the site everytime I disagreed with Max, or Bryan, or Simmo or any of the posters here...I'd never post anything at all. Gambling is a volatile subject, and there are SO many different issues...there is no way everyone will agree on everything.

So, take your break..and when something pops up here that you just can't ignore...we'll be waiting.

I have the champagne ready and waiting for that day :D ;)

Ha ha ha....walked right into that one didn't I?

But seriously, there have been times when I've disagreed with you, or with Bryan or Max...or just in the last week Dave...and I'm still here. I've very seldom been spanked. Been suspended once, maybe twice...but I had it coming, no arguments here. What I'm trying to say is that even though we may have differing views on some things...I've always been allowed to speak my mind, and say exactly how I feel. The only times I've been told I was out of line was if I called someone a derogatory term ie. asshole, etc. :D

And that's acceptable to me. There have to be "some" boundaries, or there would be chaos in a forum this size.

BTW, don't hold your breath or get a taste for champagne any time soon...I'm feeling pretty decent the last week or two.... :smilewink:

I think people can disagree on certain points, but maintain respect and friendship.

I've learnt so much from hearing different points of view. I have my own opinions, but they can change, and some are not formed without the knowledge that others provide.

I always thought you were an asset to the forum lots0, and I think pretty much everyone else here is too.

I like to think I don't make my mind up so firmly I won't listen anymore.
