New Slots Magic term for anyone interested. Any Skrill or Neteller players who use a bonus are restricted to a maximum bet of £/€/$1 (one).
Does that seem a little harsh?

I don't use either deposit method nor do I fanny around with bonuses but even so, thought I'd point it out for anyone who was unaware.

Be careful with Bonuses!
It is  crucial  that you understand and agree to the terms and conditions of any bonus that you accept. Most of the complaints that come through our arbitration service are bonus related; it would be safe to say that there are tens of thousands of players who have never complained because they realized after the fact that they did not understand or had never read the terms. Nothing in a casino is free – so whenever you see “free” being used, there are stipulations. It is important for you to understand that.

Please check out our Bonus Section that lists the offers given by our Accredited Casinos. No deposit bonuses, welcome bonuses (AKA sign up bonuses [SUBs]), exclusive bonuses, reload bonuses, free spin bonuses...all this and more!
I will give them credit for making what changed clear.

All to often we are asked to accept changes, without what the changes are highlighted or even what clause(s).

It will suit some players just fine, and I guess is a compromise for those who do like bonuses and want to use their e-wallet, as opposed to outright denial of any bonuses when depositing with Skrill or Neteller.

Another trap, nothing else. They will let you play and let you lose deposit after deposit until you win and then forfeit your winnings for breaking this horrific rule.

Happenend to me back when e-wallets were banned from bonus play. You can deposit and get the bonus, but if you dare to win you will get nothing.

And I too.
Having said that I still don't understand *why* these kind of terms are enforced for Skrill/Neteller depositors. Their money is exactly the same as mine, so why the difference? I don't get it.
Apparently it must be some sort of "bonus abusing scam" - about which I am as much in the dark as you are... :eek2:
To me, these web-wallet restrictions are all just unnecessary and annoying.

Just to chime in here -

We had to implement a similar measure because of unsustainable bonus abuse. I really wish I could give you more insight into the type of abuse, but for obvious reasons I can't.

I understand why other casinos have to take similar measures. All I can assure you is this isn't a purposeful trap, it is (at least in our case) an unavoidable necessity. It might be worth asking to increase your bet limit if you are a regular there, these measures are in place to deter a specific type of fraudulent activity but it might be possible to get around it if you make an agreement with the casino.

I can understand why casinos do this. But what about the honest players too who only use skrill/neteller?

They miss out on these bonuses because they do not want to risk getting winnings voided if they do take it. They 1 need to either update their system so these offers do not show at all for ewallet deposits in the first place. And 2 they need to either make a group for players that are trustworthy and add the players to the group uipon their request, so this in turn allows genuine players to get bonuses with skrill and neteller deposits.

that is my 2 cents and suggestions anyway.

i self excluded myself from all of their casinos (skillonnet) even if i kinda liked their slots offering and bonus offers were decent ... or at least they would be if it wasnt for so many traps.

- Max bet is 10% of bonus and they offer stuff like 10% bonus so basically if you deposit $20 and get $2 bonus, your max bet is 20 cents. I even contacted live chat to make sure i got it right, because at first i couldnt really believe it :p

- wagering requirements 30x but it comes with a twist - only GvG contribute 100% towards wagering (some of their slots have like 94% rtp or whatever), other slots (which is basically all the good slots) are 70% only. On top of it, not all slots are playable with bonus.

- selling free spins for money (and even i fell for that one :p). Deposit $20, which ends up as $21 after fees, and get 22 x $1 spins ! sounds awesome, until you notice they take deposit away and you only get 22 spins at $1, for $21. I mean who doesnt want to deposit $21 to play 22 spins. In my 10 or so years of online slotting, ive never came across something like that. On a bright side, its in their promo terms, but not (m)any people expect it to work that way, so i bet quite a few fell for that trap

- deposit fees (2,5% - 5% depending on your deposit methods)

i could probably go on but yeah needless to say im not a fan anymore. They do pay quickly though, and have really nice selection of slots (wms, netent, mg, merkur).

Therein lies the problem - it was a very difficult decision for us, as I'm sure it is for other operators. You could almost draw a comparison to insurance fraud, a small group of dishonest claimants are pushing the genuine customers premiums up. A hugely frustrating but largely unavoidable consequence.

In our case, we have the ability to increase the maximum bet on request and your account would, from then on, always be allowed to bet the normal £/$/€5 per spin. That solution is harder to manage the larger the company is, so I can't speak for others in what is/isn't possible for them. All i can say is, we are all between a rock and a hard place on this. We wish it wasn't necessary, but unfortunately we are all left with few alternatives.

I agree that these offers shouldn't be claimable on Skrill/Neteller in the first place (at casinos where there is a term completely prohibiting e-wallet bonuses). Again, I can't speak for other operators processes and technical capabilities - but that would seem like the logical first step.

I just want to clarify that my commentary here is in reference to the above comments on e-wallet bonuses in general, and not in relation to SlotsMagic specifically. I daren't make assumptions on why other specific operators enforce certain terms, just giving you a bit of insight on the e-wallet bonus conversation from my own perspective.

Thanks,

Rachel.

Yeah I understand, and thanks for more clarification and i also agree with your last statement too as it is basically agreeing to what i said should be the case too :) Lets hope those casinos that do exempt bonuses for skrill/neteller deposits actually update their system to stop them from being claimed in the first place, it is a dodgy practise that some casinos seem to not care about, then some players who never read the terms fall into the trap. :(
