Just made my missus a card. Those Tesco value blue and white ones are now 17p, so a bit cheaper making one myself! Oh, plus it is more sentimental giving hand made gifts ....

Sure she will appreciate the time and effort. But its nice to occasionally receive something practical too.
Perhaps next year you could go for the card and put it in one of those industrial bags. ok thats 27p all in so u'll probably have to reset the loss limit at VS but she can go shopping the following days, weeks and possibly months if she takes care of it with no need to always queue up just to avoid those new confusing self service machines, probably so ecstatic that her bloke notices all the lil things in the relationship that she instantly forgets about the card and rushes off to repay the favour with a crate of beers while wondering why you didnt ask for a pack of rizla, which now you don't even need because you got roach for a month as well.
