I have unsubscribed from Grand Mondial's emails every way I know how. After months and months of telling these people I do not want their emails I still receive them just like clockwork. So rather than tell them for the 200th time I don't want their crap I've decided to add their email address to my address book and just forward all my other crap casino offers (the ones that don't have account numbers) back to them. What the hell? If you can't beat'em - Join'em.

I appreciate the concept, but since they don't respond to emails, it might not accomplish much. I've been battling with them for two days to close my account and finally got them to "lock" it this morning. Petros, also informed me that they do not and never have spammed! I informed him, that I had the spams, which made him a blatant liar. He said, he didn't lie and took offense to the accusation! The accredited list needs a disclaimer attached to it, if spam and customer abuse is not an issue. Who do you have to sleep with to get recognition of the fact that these folks are jackasses?

If you want anything to be done, you'll have to PM Mario...sad to say, but he's the only one that can get you off these lists.

In the last few months, I've developed a basic approach. First, I unsubscribe at least twice. When I get the third one, I close the account, report to playshare and spamcop. When I get the next one, and I always do, I report to playshare and spamcop, etc. and so on. I've closed five accounts in the last six days and Casinoshare and Mondial are two of them.

I really do wish, that there was at least a special title of recognition for persistent spammers. Bryan has his own reasons for not discrediting this type of behavior and I trust his judgment, but I consider it to be an indication of contempt for the player on a very basic level. It can only go downhill from there.

Re-directing all our junk mail to them is sounding better by the minute.

Actually they did answer it. They asked me what my question was.

If you like I could set up a special thread prefix for this. That way you could assign it to the thread(s) of your choice, like you can currently assign "Spammer!", etc.

If you like the idea let me know what you might want the prefix(es) to be.

Well, this isn't the first case of seeing a complaint against an accredited casino.....how about throwing "accredited casino complaint" as a prefix, or maybe something of the sort. :)

Actually, SPAMMER! works for me. The only thing that would be better would be:

SPAMMER!

But, I guess that would be bit much, huh?

Something is not quite right here. Why would Bryan *not* discredit this type of behavior? As far as I am concerned, operators must also respect the right of the player to unsubscribe from emails and I would imagine Bryan feels the same way.

Hi guys,

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you are still experiencing issues with the unsubscribe.

We have had some systems issues as well as unfortunate a human error as well however we believe that this has now been resolved.

I do urge that anyone who is not subscribed to please contact me immediately with a copy of the email that you've received and I will further investigate for you.

We do apologize for the inconvenience and frustration that this has caused.

I do appreciate it that you do make contact with me in order to ensure that issues such as these are resolved.

Best regards
Mario

I think Bryan has zero tolerance for spam himself and has taken a stand on the subject by website content and monitoring. As far as I am aware, there are no unresolved payment issues, which plays a major factor in being on the accredited list and they have a responsive Rep available. They are meeting the basic requirements of being accredited.

These two sites are persistent spammers and have been for a couple of years. They bombard you with spam, providing an impotent unsubscribe button and do not respond to complaining emails. When confronted, they deny, which boggles the mind because you have the emails in your inbox! The next line of defense is they declare they are having some technical problems and they have been all fixed. Two months down the road, it starts all over again. There is a legitimate problem with control on their end, due to the affiliate system, yet all these emails are passing through their system. Unless they take a no-tolerance position with the affiliates, the same pattern will probably keep going around. The behavior is self-destructive and defies all logic, but the practice continues.

I have decided to take a personal no-tolerance position by closing my accounts with these folks and trying to undermine there ability to deliver the unwanted communications. Though it is old news on the forum, we do have a means of exposing the behavior and Bryan is active in devising means to further express contempt for the practice and provide player support. I see the big picture here and I don’t believe that the issue is being condoned at any level. I simply have no reason to distrust or question his code of ethics, which is what the accredited list is all about. My use of the word "discredit" was in the sense of removing from accredited position, rather than an indication of Bryan's personal position on spamming. Apparently, not the best choice of words...

My account is closed and I'm still being spammed. Resolved my eye! I have sent an email to Mario...

This is a reply that I got from Mario in regards to the previous GM mailing. Yes, it was via email, but it applies to everyone involved here, so I feel that it's "public domain."

"Our promotions team actually messed up with this campaign as they emailed closed accounts as well."

This was from a mailing on June 15th. Interestingly enough, this mailer's "unsubscribe" link sent you to their "contact" page...

Still being spammed-no response from Mario
The email address provided by Mario is now bouncing emails and I cannot send a private pm
because I receive message that the email is too long.
At this point, I am being forced into changing our email addresses, which will cause major work and problems. The only other alternative is to go after their processors.
Bryan, this is the first time that I have questioned your judgement and the integrity of your accredited list.
I have no doubt, that the loss of a single member means anything to you at all, but this will be my last post.

I know I promised not to post any further, but this is important to all associates of Grand Mondial. It will be my final post:

I am an administrator for one of the target URLS this spam group has been using. Their account has been banned and upon learning of this they have attempted to extort money from us. Upon declining they proceeded to DDOS us, go after financial institutions and now do anything to get our domains taken down.

The ringleader of the Russian-based mailers is a Canadian named Brad Holmes and he referred all of the eastern-bloc mailers we were assured were CAN-SPAM compliant.

They were terminated from our program once we found out about UCE, then we soon realized they were also using stolen credit cards and as mentioned above they subsequently extorted, then DDOS'd us.

Spamhaus Robert Gardner is on the case and he has very detailed information regarding this and has advised us that he is in close contact with Ms. Strollo.
