Got home this eve my partner said order pizza and he will pay. Did order online, pizza was delivered within 40min. When I ordered I had payment as cash but when pizza was delivered my partner used his Td visa debit card. When the guy came to the door he said oh you paying by a card and went back to his car and came back with the debit machine but Im sure after seeing the card he prob had all types in his vehicle and grabbed the same type. Obviously, the alarm bells in our heads came too late.
My partner got a text message of withdrawal as we eating and that's when we found out his account was drained almost $1800 and the card the supposedly pizza deliver guy he left us was a stolen card which was reported earlier so how he was able to charge our order on already reported stolen card is something Td looking in to.
Not sure but I'm sure the guy who delivered pizza wasn't an employee I believe it was an inside job either when I ordered online or the pizza store. PizzaPizza been little help at the moment actually they keep insisting we picked it up when PzzaPizza customer serviced called the store and they say someone came in and paid for it.
Were just waiting for police to do a report but they may not come till sometime Sunday.
Now that I think of it the pizza wasn't delivered inside a hot cooler bag and box was open one side but then didn't think much of it but kinda wonder if they did anything to the order.
I want an answer from PizzaPizza what and how what happened. At first they wanted us to fill out a customer complaint form and submit it. I'm like what the hell $1800 was just stolen call the store or whatever. Well see where it goes from here but WARNING do not order from PizzaPizza!!! not until I get an answer on this.
