Hi goofy22960,

And welcome to the forum!

The "legally licensed, fully insured" comment is one that was commonly used amongst a number of roguish RTG casinos in the past. They were NOT licensed (gaming license that is), and fully insured? What their car insurance? :D This term is still widely used when it should not be - it's a bit deceiving.

Golden Palace states that they are legally licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, which they are. They've switched software platforms three times in the past few years. Never a good sign. They had severe problems back when they were with Microgaming - and this is one of the main reasons they have never been considered to be listed here. A number of old timers could attest to this.

As for now, what I have seen and heard is that they are okay, but payouts and their support is a little slow.

Hi Goofy22960,

Check out https://www.casinomeister.com/accredited-casinos/ and read the information there to get you started.

Then just check out whatever casinos you fancy. You may want to check out whatever promotions that have going - or maybe it's the theme you like. Whatever the case may be, these are good places to start.

thankyou very much

thanks, and i love the beer quote, but i got a good one for ya, To alcohol the cause AND solution to pretty much all of lifes problems...lol
thanks agaain, goofy22960

just one more question...lol

sorry if i'm bothering you but you came highly recomended, i'm trying to find the type of online casino where i won't be overwhelmed in the begining and would be easy to work my way around, dload, play, bet, etc, etc, etc without too much trouble...any suggestions anyone???????

Goofy-

Slotland is well known for their integrity. They're also a no download casino. I think for a beginner, slotland is an excellent choice. They also have a play-through requirement of 1 which is so much better than you'll see anywhere else these days. (Although Nostalgia Casino offers a no-playthrough requirement bonus.)

The only drawback with Slotland is that their software is primitive compared to other sites. But the games are fun, the payouts are good, and they're honest. And Nostalgia Casino is a good option if you're looking for something a little more sophisticated.

Hope that's helpful--good luck at the tables!

I have to agree that their software is very primitive and i personally was dissapointed. Payout wise they are apparently okay but remember that all their their games are slots and i prefer table games (blackjack etc) because the return is better.

Actually they also have Video Poker and they have a funky version of Blackjack.

I like to recommend them to newbies also - they have an impeccable record for honesty and performance. It is a nice place to get one's toes wet.

This is the Casinomeister link to Slotland:

Slotland has possibly the worst game package on the net in terms of player return. That ridiculous "Spacejack" game has a house edge somewhere around 5% if played super-optimally, fully five times worse than the WORST of the rest. The "JOB" game is a slot machine, and as such, even factoring in that Hurculean jackpot it has a similar return of 95%, fully TEN TIMES worst than almost every other JOB games out there.

This is the WORST place to send a newbie - unless your intention is to fleece him through your affiliate link, in which case it's the best place to send him.

Newbies: avoid.

Please explain this statement in the light of my earlier post.

Golden Palace: in late 2000 they ripped off a bunch of players for a packet of money - they kept offering bonuses which they retroactively seized back when they were in financial strife. Microgaming didn't think too much of this act of theft and kicked them out. Since then, on the back of the money they stole they re-launched and have gone from strength to strength, through Cytech and now Playtech (where most rogue operators end up).

They never paid back the stolen money.

I don't really appreciate your affiliate link comment. Dom posted MY Slotland link in the conversation - which by the way is not an affiliate link. I reap no benefit from players losses and this is what you are insinuating.

Slotland has been around for years and has satisfied scores of players. Sure their software pales compared to MG viper, but I return to their games often mainly because I like them.

My comment wasn't directed at you - I know your business doesn't operate through affiliate commission, same as Got2Bet. It was a response to Dominique, who said she advocated Slotland as a FIRST destination for newbies, which is clearly very bad advice other than for the rewards of the click-throughs from her own link (not yours).

The reason SL pay quickly is because they can afford to because their games are all crap. That "JOB" game is a joke - factor out the jackpot, say, average 40K, and it returns c.85%. That's 85 cents return on each dollar wagered. Standard JOB without the royal returns 97.5%. It's a no-brainer. Not just Viper; Crypto and RTG have games within sniffing distance of 100%. For that matter, so do Boss and Playtech, though I'm obviously not advocating anyone patronize those two providers.

yea slots not my scene neither
