Hi,

I got a promo mail, offering 100% Halloween bonus to me.

In the mail, it says the bonus is automatically credited.......

This is my last mail:



Well,

now it's many hours ago I deposited into the casino, because YOU wrote me a mail, offering a 100% bonus.

In the mail, it says its automatically (!!!!!!!!!!) credited.

BEFORE, I deposited, I called you and asked, EXACTLY THIS. Yes, he stated, it is auto !!!

After the deposit, I called again, and you said it will be there in 15 min.

After 15 min I called again, NOW you said, I must forward the promo mail (??). Dont you know your own mails ???

After I sent the mail, NO response came.

I called AGAIN. Now, I got another email adress to sent the mail to.

Hell, is it so hard to credit that 50 ?

AND, do you think people LIKE this. We deposit because we WANT TO PLAY NOW !!!!!

Not to CLAIM and wait and COMPLAIN and MAIL and CALL...




Now, another 6 hours is gone, no bonus.

I know, this is not a case of weeks, nor of days, but... I hate it !!

BTW: As we know of TOO many cases, if you start playing before ALL is solved, they can NEARLY do anything afterward: call you an abuser and forfeit yout winnings, close account, or... just give you No bonus because of XXX. OR, you lose, then nothing of the above will happen I think.
 
Promotion is real!

I had the same problems. I was one of the first persons to claim the promotion I think.
Bonus was not credited and I wrote to CS and they replied fast. The said they were not aware of such a bonus...

Later they wrote again that the promotion was real and my account was
credited. It took about 1 hour before my account was credited, so it is not automatic.

Standard BJ is allowed while all VP are not! Other (slightly better) BJ variants are not allowed, so be careful what you play! I find it weird BJ is allowed while VP is not. It is now the same terms in the sign-up bonus.
But I guess I just have to wager 20K$ on BJ then... On 1035$ currently. (5$ bets)


Golden Palace has always paid customers (slow payment up to 2 weeks though), but they do pay customers. However the management have a streaker fetish...
 
I've got an even worse experience.
First, let me tell you that I got this mail, sent to my personal address.
Deposited, no bonus, so contacted CS. Look what they gave me:

Dear xxx,

In response to your email, unfortunately you are not entitled to this bonus, this was made for a certain group of individuals and unfortunately you are not on the list.

I do apologize for any mis-understandings.

This is totally ridiculous! They just lure you in, now I've deposited, I've no way back but to play (or cash out at once, but that's kind of silly)
I think am going to make a big fuss about this if they do not rectify this mistake straight away.

I've played their welcome bonus 1.5 years ago, and since then deposited 3 more times to just play (no bonuses on these deposits). Somehow I always managed to win, I guess they just don't like that.
 
I have not played at GP for 2 years. So I believe they mailed this offer to a lot of people, maybe their whole customer base. And maybe they are now regretting it. So you just claimed it to late...Or maybe the mail was sent to the complete player base, while it was only intended for the cash cows.

The bonus is very juicy since BJ is allowed and they probably got a surge of
hungry bonus whores depositing.

This is the best offer since the 1K$ free mansion bet. I regret I did not take
advantage of it back them. This time I was one of the first depositors at least.

I DID speak with the telefon support BEFORE and asked exactly this !!!

They told me, I just have to deposit, if I got the mail, I WILL get the bonus...

DAMN casino, I wrote them a mail, they should FAST reverse my deposit back to C2P.

They dont even have a C2P withdraw option !!!????

Stupid people...

I understand your frustration. I got the same e-mail. They promised of a bonus and when I made a deposit they chose not to give one.

I think their act is unprofessional. They wont even process withdrawals back to many e-wallets, and they ask for a load of ID documents before handing out original deposit, and in the process they end up making ton of short-term (2 week) money.

BOO Golden Palace. :mad:
 
Well, they have probably pissed off & lost a big chunk of the existing player base, and they have to survive the winter before the 2008 Olympics presents a marketing opportunity for replacement mugs:rolleyes:

The mailer should have T & C, and if there was nothing about eligibilty criteria, they should honour the offer, otherwise how can players be expected to trust ANYTHING the casino offers them in the future.
What is most damning of all, is that even when checking with support, they lie that you are eligible based on your account info, and then admit you are not once having deposited. This moves from botched marketing to rogue behaviour, and they seem to be making it hard for aggrieved players to even get back their deposit.
Being Golden Palace, wouldn't Christmas have been a better time for this kind of stunt, then they could have REALLY pissed players off:rolleyes:
 
I can only say, if they will NOT reverse my deposit, they will lose min 10$ for every 1$ I deposited in reputation.

Because I will not stop post this thing in every forum I find: Warning - Casino Palace.

If only 10% of poss. new customers decide to NOT deposit with them, its worth it for me....

If I had NOT contacted the TELEFON support before, it would be BAD enough.

But so, THEY HAD MY ACCOUNT NUMBER WHEN THEY FORCED MY DEPOSIT WITH A LIE.....
 
SOLVED - THEY GIVE ME THE BONUS

Hi,

unbel., but after a new telefon session and when I said I will contact C2P to get my money back, the manager decided to credit the bonus...

Before, they said the only option is a Barclays check to get my money back, but I said the last Barclays check was 42,50 (!) Euros fee at my bank. (No lie, its german banks dont trust them).

I can't understand why they force me to do so much afforts to get my RIGHT.


BTW: Can someone explain me this term from their T+Cs:

The words "but will not count towards fulfilling your wagering requirements" are pretty important there :p

basically you can play them, but it wont help clear your bonus

I asked the supp. for those term and got a mail stating I could play theese games with no fear of losing my winnigs. I just do not understand, why there is this last sentence then in the terms.

At another casino, they have exactly theese terms. Here the supp stated: ALL WINNINGS WILL be VOID, if I play theese games, so...careful always, be careful...

BTW: My whole reading of T+Cs only began because a Playtech VOIDED all my winnings (of 130$) because of 4 (JUST 4) games of BJ Switch (I won 5$ in theese games).
 
In another thread it looks like a casino (don't recall which one) considered winnings from those games ineligable for clearing the wr:eek2: How ridiculous is that? I'd follow WinBigs advice and only play games that count toward fulfilling wr, just to be super prophylactic. But that's just me :)
 
Yes, this is a tricky term, as it can be seen so or so.

I had seen other Playtechs, where the german version was like this and the english was quite clear: NOT to play the games or all is void.

I mean, how can one fail to comply to something, wich has no dos or don'ts ?

Its like: You MAY eat the apple. If you fail to comply to this, you are guilty !?


If you think of why is such a term in there (many Playtechs have/had them),
there are two reasons:

1. good (?) one : To have at least the chance for the casino to call someone an abuser, if he really practice only on smallest house edge games with mini bets ( I wonder what Casino War does in the list, or Craps).

2. really bad one: To have a clause, wich leads to missunderstandings and forces people to make mistakes in clearing WRs and then have a reason to deny winnings in case of a big win cash out.

BTW: I got the bonus and managed to even win some more and even without ever touching Craps and its "friends"...lol

Bad customer service, slow payments, goofy software, spammy emails, always want 5 forms of Id to process even just the orginal deposit back. I did the new user couple years ago, have not played since!

geeeez, and that was in 2000 and they haven't been able to be approved again? In some of my 'rogue affiliate' research I see Golden Casino (MG version of same company?) listed in a lot of top tens. (I forget the thread was GP, just assumed it was same operation, could be wrong here)

I could be wrong, but I think Golden Casino is Golden Palace's US-friendly offshoot. Golden Palace uses Playtech software which put the US players under the guillotine; I think they created Golden Casino using Odds On software so that they could keep some US players.

I could be way off. I just investigated a little bit but couldn't find anything to confirm this.

What likely happened here:

The marketing department carpetbombed the whole player database with the promotion mail. The security department previously flagged some accounts of the player database, but never sent you an email about that. So when you deposited, theoretically (from the customer service's point of view) they gave you the bonus, but it was never showing up on your account because of the security department. Finally they were able to find out that you're bonus-banned (or got bonus-banned when you deposited for this promotion), and sent you the email.

At GP you get bonus-banned very fast if you only play with promotions. It doesn't matter what games do you play and win or lose. They consider revising your status if you deposit and play without bonuses. See my case about GP in the below thread:
