I had a conversation with my husband last night how I want a change of scenery, and want to move. After a long talk, he says I think you just need a vacation. So I agreed. SO the end of next month going back to Reno where we met in the first place. I cant wait!!!

That sounds really cool, Ama! :notworthy I hope you'll have a great trip and don't forget to bring a cam so you can post some "real" winning screenshots! :)

Can I have your husband? :D

Hey, I'm going to go to Reno next weekend! I'm pretty excited, it's the first time I will have been since I learned to play cards. I'm definitely looking forward to playing blackjack at this one truck stop with amazing rules. I'll probably get thrown out of a casino for my first time!

yeahhhhhh Ama! My divorce went into default so it will be finished much earlier than expected. My girlfriends and I are going to celebrate in Reno (cheaper than vegas) in April...let me know if you find any good deals! Have a blast!:)

I want a divorce!

  I so love it when you call me "bitch". :D

Have a blast Ama.....but NO Jaeger!!

Lake Tahoe, or more specifically the drive round it, is absolutely fantastic and beautiful and amazing!!! (Apart from the bit where I got arrested, but the less said about that the better :eek2: )

I found Reno itself a little erm... "low rent" in comparison to Vegas, but then it's very very different in terms of the types of people you get there too - which is a good thing. Plus - I saw an amazing hot air balloon event/rally thing last time I was there - which was unbelievably amazing to watch.

What a great reason to go too - have a wonderful time!

Re

Rhino,

Make sure to play at calneva , they have the best payouts. I lived there for two years and know where to go.

Nope husband is mine, though sometimes I wont claim him:)))

I like Reno better than Vegas. The city is cleaner, the locals are freindly and crime is low there.

No jegger, just beer and hot cider( it will be cold)
Sands has a package right now, 208 per person includes three nights, and round trip air fair. Cant beat that with a stick:)

You would be better off getting your airfare and rooms seperate. You could always ask for the room &/or airfare comped that way. There's a small chance they'll give you a comp on top of the package you're already getting.

Wooohoo!! Good for you!

I had a similar conversation with my husband. He decided that he would soothe my recently bitchy mood by taking me to Tunica for a few days of gambling. LOL I'm going to play VP till my butt and arms ache, and my brain turns to mush. I'm going to drink Bailey's and coffee, with Crown Royal for a night cap, (free) till my head buzzes. I'm going to sleep in every morning, till the maids out in the hall jabbering wake me up.

Leaving this a.m. As we both hate to fly we go for the nearest drive... 6 hours. Room is comped. Free cash/slot play and meal vouchers in my purse (off the top of my head) totaling around $350. (Extra free night vouchers in my purse -- just in case hubby makes final table and we need to stay a while longer. :D )

Ya'll take care. See ya in a few days. (If RTG/INetBet really has loosened a bit, save a spin for the Mousey.) :D

Stay warm (tonight a low of 2 - 12 in Reno) and have a great time! My husband and I entertained the thought of moving to Sparks which is just outside of Reno. We visited for a week. What a great place!

re

I loved living in Reno, I felt like I was on vacation the whole two years I lived there, but it was too cold for me ( why I now live in the Phoenix area:)

I'm starting to think these b&m casinos ain't all there cracked up to be. I'm in Mississippi playing and there is no video poker autoplay  You actually have to sit in front of the machine the whole time and press the buttons  I won't even start about the crowds and the lines to get fed. I will give them credit for free wireless, so at least you can play online now.
