GamFed/QuickTender Weirdness...

Iowa, dammit.
Several times I have emailed GamFed requesting that they close any and all accounts I might have with them...never got a response.

Today I get an email from them saying they are stopping service to US players. Oh dear. What a shame. The email tells me that my remaining balance with them...I have no remaining balance...has been transferred to USAFreedom Casino...a GamFed casino.:what:

Right after that comes an email from QuickTender, letting me know that USAFreedom Casino has opened a QuickTender account for me, and to click a link to finish the signup process. I didn't click the link. Duh.

3 words...WHAT THE F____???

A good example on the casino doing the best at all times for their customers, aslong as in the casino's interest, :D Wouldnt want you to have a hassle with re-registering your accounts, especially since you have mentioned that you would like them removed... You have most likely sendt that request in error, so they help you out with easing the registration process, :D

You should be happy! (duh!)

I kinda feel better now cos this reply was so much longer cos i was freaking out cos i never heard of this usacasino or even quick tendner,
I recently got an email thanking me for opening a click2pay account (i thought US cant open an account) it had my first and last name and i was like..umm i didnt open a click2pay account.. so i emailed click2pay and asked whats going on and they said "you are a vip member of a casino" and they started the process for you. thats really creepy and annoying because I havent or been a member of that casino or anything called that. and now today i recieved yet another email stating that an account with something called "quicktender" has been started by usacasino or something or other and for me to log into the account and deposit..WTF?????? is quick tener even real?? i havent played with gfed in like 4 years..

4 Years, that's nothing. I am now a VIP at Maxima casino! I have almost never heard of them, and certainly never played. Once you had to be a high roller to make VIP anywhere, now you just have to exist:rolleyes:

Very odd about Click2Pay though, they claim they can't pay US players, and no longer accept them, yet all it takes is a casino to CLAIM someone is a VIP and all of a sudden being American is not a problem. Perhaps those US players who have funds held hostage in Click2Pay should assume that Click2Pay are lying when they claim not to be able to pay the balance, as clearly a GERMAN listed company would not think of accepting referred VIP players if they knew they had no way to pay out the balance of their accounts, this would be highly illegal under EU consumer protection laws. Doesn't matter they are really in Cyprus (though they like to deny it), they are registered as a German company.
Opening an account for a player without said players permission, and their own identity check breaches both EU privacy laws (not asking permission first), and money laundering laws that require financial institutions to be sure of the identity of account holders. Seems odd that they will open an account on the mere say so of some offshore casino who passes a set of details to them, details that could easily be false, and an attempt for a shady casino to launder money through a bogus player account. Click2pay will have sent the link to the E-mail address supplied by the casino, and the casino again could fake this & activate the account with a bunch of false documents.

It's worse that this turned out to be genuine, and not Phishing as I suspected when another player mentioned receiving this from Click2Pay.

As for QuickTender, against US laws, unlikely to stay the distance, and if it's a Gfed own brand is questionable from the outset. Their E-mail makes no sense either. First they say they can no longer accept US players, and then say they can at this USA freedom outlet - well make your minds up Gfed, what's the difference, I doubt the DoJ will be impressed by moving all US players to a brand new casino, it will actually make it easier for them to put the proverbial spanner in the works, and grab any flow of funds through the banking system that has flowed through Quicktender.
Given that PLAYERS have now begun to receive official letters related to the UIGEA, this is no time to start trying new casinos and payment options specifically set up to work around the UIGEA rules.
