Fortune Lounge Slow Pay Via ACH

Hi,

Just wanted to let everyone know that withdrawing via ACH from Fortune Lounge casinos can take up to 7 weeks. I've been waiting for my ACH withdrawal since 12/16. After many chat/email sessions with support, today I got an email that said they're having ACH processor problems and will take an additional 7-14 business days from today.

In my case, (I know someone in the same boat) I asked support to change my withdrawal method to Quicktender and they said that they could not because I didn't have a QT account registered with them. My original deposit for this withdrawal was via Quicktender and I'm pretty sure that I've withdrawn using Quicktender from there before. I'm not sure why I can't switch this...

Anyway, they said that for my inconvenience they can put the money back in my account and offer me a 25% bonus for it. :eek2: That's just dumb, so I declined. What's the point of playing, if you can't take out your winnings?

I contacted the CM Rep a while ago (no answer) and submitted a PAB (was told that I it won't be addressed until after the 31st,) So here I am...

Beware Everyone. Don't withdraw via ACH from FL, if you want to see your funds within a reasonable amount of time. Use your webwallets.

FL has always paid me in a timely manner.. just sit tight they won't screw you over.

Isn't that one of the prerequisites for being rouged at CM???

Im in the same situation,
after many emails and phone conversations offering the bonus for a reversal, which i specifically stated that i didnt want (in all caps) went to my email this morning and magically, THEY REVERSED IT!!!

got to speak with the "pit boss" today, and was told the either me, or "someone acting on my behalf" called in and told them to reverse it. (that never happened)

pitboss tells me to go ahead and withdrawl again, and "we'll try to get the money to you quickly"

the best case scenario would have been I got my money on the 21st of january...but something tells me that they are using this as a stall tactic, and i'll be waiting 7-14 MORE business days to get paid.

After being told that I couldn't withdraw to Quicktender after requesting the ACH withdrawal. My withdrawal was sent to my Quicktender account today. Thank you Trisha at FL.

This is after I was told that I would receive it on the 7th, then 10th, then 14th, then 21st of January. It's also after many, many chat/support sessions.

It only took 5 weeks to receive it in Quicktender, then it's going to be another week to hit the bank account. That's still a long time to wait, if you ask me...

Like I said before, use a webwallet at FL casinos, if you want to receive a withdrawal in a reasonable amount of time.

Yes it is a long time to wait, there's absolutely no reason at all EVERY (including ACH) withdrawal shouldn't be paid instantly.

If I can go to wal mart and hand them a blank check and they instantly pull the funds right out of my account and return the same item a day or two later and they instantly return the funds to my account an online casino should be no different. As soon as you hit process it should be in your account.

I'm no expert, but I do know that casinos impose a waiting period for a number of reasons.

First, they are operating in a worldwide envronment where they can and will get screwed in any way imaginable. There are millions of people all over the world who look every day for a way to jack the system in some way. I don't have any idea of what methods have been used successfully, but I am sure that they are numerous and probably very creative.

One thing that I am certain of is that they do want enough time to pass to allow for funds sent to them to clear and actually belong to them. Somewhere in the mix is the possibility of chargebacks with credit card deposits and the length of time that cardholders have to cry foul is quite long. I can imagine a scenerio where a player deposits funds, wins, collects their winnings and then chargebacks some or all of their deposits, in effect gambling without much risk. I don't know how this can be done multiple times to different casinos, but I'm sure that it has happened and may even still happen. I am not familiar with the inner mechanisms of banking, ACH, lengths of times on their side and the like. I am pretty sure that it is not as straightforward as you or I would expect.

I am also certain that many, many players simply get impatient and think that they are going to re-deposit again soon anyway and reverse their withdrawals and play back their wins. I have kicked myself a number of times for this very thing. I used to be much more disclipined, but it was much easier to be so when withdrawals happened without the significant lag times that I now experience...Not to mention the trouble to get the deposit to them in the first place. I'm sure that this is a tremendous plus on the profit side of the casinos.

I'm sure that some casinos exploit the situation in a number of ways, and some are straightforward about it and others are less so.

I think that as long as US players are operating in the hostile environment that we are that we won't enjoy anything more convienent than what we have to deal with today. When and if things change, competition will drive better service. For now, we get what we get.

I play much more rarely now and only with casinos that I have a long history with and who are accredited here. I haven't played in a month or so now and the hassle is becoming too much for me.
