do you get spam emails from fortune lounge

I haven't received spams from fortune lounge recently.
I choose 1

I won't participate in any poll posted by anyone specifically for the purpose of continuing to attack the credibility of a casino. Your agenda is about as thin as your integrity

nikest27, you are getting onto your high horse to soon and do not give FL enough time to sort out this issue. Get of your high horse and grow a bit in your maturity. FL has a great record on this forum, and I can't see this not being sorted out.

nikest27: Please check my comments on the other thread.

Organizing a poll is fine but you are only going to tell me what I already know. There is absolutely no purpose in trying to prove that players get spammed. We already established that in an earlier thread that you obviously did not read. I strongly suggest you do.

In order to resolve the issue, I need details of players who get spammed and, if possible, copies of the mails they received. Then I can actually do something about it. Several players who have had this problem before were successfully removed after contacting us. I can also not check why it is happening if I do not have the information.

I have checked the e-mail address you have listed with us and you are definitely not on the database of the publisher blamed for this. In this case then, you need to send me the mail so I can see where you received it from.

I am still curious as to why you are on this mission as you never really intended to be a player with us. My problem is:
You open 8 accounts with us, receive 7 bonuses and only use your bonuses to cash in and disappear. If you are disappointed because you really wanted to be our customer I can understand but this is strange.
You suddenly appear on this forum with 14 out of 17 postings focusing on discrediting us. You have never before communicated with us.
You claim to be an affiliate, yet I cannot find any trace of you.
Without knowing my reputation on this site, you question my integrity by suggesting that I am waiting for these threads to "vanish" even though it was over a weekend. This highlights that you have a serious objectivity problem.
You start a poll to establish how many players get "spammed" by us despite the fact that this was a hot topic of discussion a while ago.

This is weird.

nice to see a rep trying to respond to a minor problem, unlike the suspicious by his absence belle rock rep who have a very serious complaint against them!

Somehow I think they'd manage to sort the problem out a little faster if it was people having a problem depositing.

Its a fact you do not become infamous for spamming because of one disgruntled poster.

I know I dont get spam from my bank, CDwow, neteller, moneybookers ... why should a casino have its own set of ethics?

But the rep is totally correct, they have known they have a problem, they still have a problem, a poll is not going to change anything, etc.

What is going to change things is if Fortune Lounge accept responsibility for being the absolute source of the spamming. And then stop it.

lets do voting and find how many people are affected by there fortune lounge spam.

I cant take your poll seriously as you have a complaint against FL group.

Why dont you give up with FL and go abuse a Joyland bonus or something.

HEAVY FINE FOR SPAMMER

This twenty-something made a fortune out of annoying emails

Texas state officials revealed this week that one of the world's most notorious spammers, his former partners and their companies have agreed to pay $10 million to settle a state lawsuit.

Ryan Pitylak, 24, a graduate of the University of Texas, admitted sending 25 million e-mails every day at the height of his spamming operation in 2004.

At one time, Pitylak was listed as the fourth-worst spammer in the world by the Spamhaus Project, a London-based international clearinghouse that tracks spammers and works closely with law enforcement officials.

Under the settlement announced by the Texas Attorney General's office, Pitylak personally owes $1 million in civil penalties. He already has paid the state $225 000 to cover attorneys' fees.

In a separate settlement with Microsoft Corp., Pitylak agreed to a fine of a further $1 million and promised never again to send out false, misleading or unsolicited commercial e-mails.

Pitylak's e-mails touted low-cost mortgages, extended auto warranties and debt-counseling services, among other offers, and he received $3 to $7 for every lead he generated when someone clicked on the links in his messages.

Pitylak says he now opposes spam and is offering his skills to Internet companies to help them fight spam.

Players who do decide to vote need to also keep 4 points in mind before voting in this poll.

  • Where you spammed by FL or where you spammed by an affiliate to FL?
  • When you discovered that it was an affiliate to FL, did you report them to FL?
  • After reporting them to FL, did FL do their best to resolve the issue?
  • Or were you spammed by a "publisher", spamming on behalf of FL?

After looking at these points only now give an honest vote!

Amended as per your request, thanks Grandmaster!

Spam

Much of this stems from this "Driftwood Bay" operation. Unfortunately, Fortune Lounge ALSO send their internal mailers from Driftwood Bay. This can make it look as though FL are responsible for the Spam. Belize also has secretive company laws, but "1934 Driftwood Bay" (the spammer), seems to live in a damn crowded building!!! Searching specifically for this address it seems to be behind a large number of "companies" as their official address. The majority are in the online casino business, but are unrelated to each other. Our notorious friends Jackpot Factory, operated by Squareit Ltd, also operate from that same place. I think there is something a little underhand going on with this Driftwood Bay place. It does not seem to be a "real bay" as such, but some sort of "free zone" in Belize City. It seems anyone can buy an offshore comany on a "pay the fee and modest tax & no questions asked, no accounts need to be filed etc".
I am now certain that 1934 Driftwood bay is simply an offshore office of convenience for many companies to have as their registered address. The "spam" probably does not actually come from here, and snail mail sent to this address may as well be forwarded to the waste basket just as much as to the company concerned.

The case against FL:- (Mostly circumstancial, but quite compelling)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Internal mailer regarding my Loyalty points, contains my personal details so therefore must come from FL and not a "publisher" etc.

Fortune Lounge: 1934 Driftwood Bay, Belize City, Belize

This is the EXACT SAME ADDRESS as the internal mailers. This particular "spammer" - casino-bonus.net is in the SAME DAMN BUILDING!!!

If Fortune Lounge contend that they have no control over this "affiliate" does this mean that 1934 Driftwood Bay is NOT the true address of Fortune Lounge?

I believe a full and frank disclosure is required. Who or What exactly is "1934 Driftwood Bay", does this place REALLY exist (It's not a district of Belize on any map I have looked at, although the maps are basic), and Belize City is on a short "point", not a "Bay" in sight! Clearly, the people behind this address have my PERSONAL FL ACCOUNT DETAILS in order to have sent me the personalised material, but they also send out the general mailers too, that are seen as "Spam", but that are "Legitimate marketing" because they have an "unsubscribe" function.
Perhaps the address has been "dressed up" to look grandiose & "romantic", maybe " Unit 1934, Driftwood Bay Offshore Industrial Park" might be closer to the truth!

With all this circumstancial evidence, it is hardly surprising that FL are having a very hard time disassociating themselves from the responsibility for this issue in the eyes of many players.
