Hi everyone,

Last Saturday, April 24th, I had the honor of having dinner with the Fortune Lounge Group. At the dinner, I met Jorn (VIP Relationship Manager),
Lou (CEO) and David (one of the Founders of FL). Besides the fact that they were three good looking guys, they were such nice, sweet and decent people.
I also met about 10 other players from the FL site. Being from New York, the dinner was held at Patsy's Italian Restaurant on West 56th St. (If anyone loves italian food like I do, you have not lived until you have eaten at Patsy's). It is a very well known eatery here in the city, and many stars frequent this restaurant.

Let me start by saying that Fortune Lounge spared no expense on this dinner, as Patsy's is somewhat pricey. This restaurant has two levels and is very cozy. FL could not have picked a place better than Patsy's for this dinner, the atmosphere is warm and each worker goes the extra mile to make sure that each customer is satisfied.

Since my babysitter was late, Barry and I arrived almost one hour into the dinner and as we were being introduced to everyone Barry spilled a glass of wine on an 8 year old little girl. (so much for classy entrances...gotta remember to send Barry to finishing school...lol). Each of the three gentlemen from FL were so courteous. However, they wanted very much to know any problems that any of us were having with the site. Barry sat next to David and they spoke about the poker site. Since Barry has been in the business for quite some time, David was eager to hear Barry's experiences with online poker. What amazed me the most, was that Jorn reminded me of a problem that I had with a customer service rep a while back, which I had totally forgotten about. Jorn was very quick to tell me that the CSR had been reprimanded and to contact him directly should I ever have a problem again. Like every restaurant in NY, Patsy's is a non-smoking place. So a few times a couple of us got up to go outside and have a cigarette. It was at this time that I was able to get to know the players. We were discussing our favorite games and slots was number one, by far.

As a token of FL's appreciation for everyone who attended the dinner, the invitee got $200 (deposited into the casino of your choice) and your escort was given $50 to be used the same way. I immediately stole Barry's $50 and had my money put into Platinum Play. They also had a drawing for $1050. The way it worked was everyone picked a card from a deck and the highest card got $500, second highest got 250, third highest got 150, fourth highest (Meeeeee) got 100, and fifth highest got 50. These credits were also put into the casino of your choice. One player that I met was a woman named Gretchen and she brought her daughter with her. Being that she was from Saratoga, FL put her up for the night at a very classy hotel. Unfortunately, Gretchen had to wait five hours for her room, so FL immediately compensated her with $1000. I thought that was wonderful.

FL is a class outfit. From their conversation, you can easily tell that they REALLY care about all their players. They want to know if anyone is unhappy or has a problem. I know that many people complain about not receiving replies to their emails. Therefore, if you do not receive a response, write to vpops@fortunelounge.com and you will definitely get an answer.

I have been gambling online for about 8 years and have never felt so valued as FL has made me feel. I am very confident that any problem will be handled as quickly as possible. Lastly, they gave each of us a beautiful parting gift. It is a diamond about the size of a baseball. I have it proudly displayed in my curio.

Kudos to Fortune Lounge. They are, by far, the best online casino group. (But I knew this even before I met them). :p

:) Wow, what a nice and great night you have, Linda. I am so happy they treat you and Barry so good (and you deserve it).

It's very nice to hear online casino treat their loyal cutomers like this. Thank you for sharing this with us. It's very nice to hear story like this instead of all the compliants. :D

Well, I will never be invited to a party like this with being a small roller but I am soooo glad to hear someone I konw did!

Sounds very nice.
How much do you have to loose monthly in order to get this treatment? :p
I am sure it's not the money deposited that matter, otherwise clayman would be their VIP years ago.
Overall, FL is a good place to play. Especially after they got the eCOGRA seals, that's another layer of player protection IMO.

Yeah, I've heard those dinners are seriously swanky affairs.

I second all the positive sentiments - excellent group all round.

Too bad their sign up offers are not competitive, 20% wagering counts towards the wagering requirements, no thanks, I will pass.

WOW!!! That is one helluva way to say thanks to their high rollers. Glad to hear you had a good evening.

Linda, You are a sweetheart! :) I don't think Barry will like me take over his spot at next party. :D

I visit NJ few times a year. I will try Patsy's next time. It sounds it's a kids friendly restaurant. I LOVE Italian food. That's why I marry an Italian ;)

Believe it or not, my mom worked in an Italian restaurant before I was born... so we always had pretty good Italian food :) I must remember to ask Lou to take me to Patsy's... LOL...

I just got this email from someone. This person only knew my email because her friend got his deposit back (but not winnings) after contacting me.

I didn't thank you yet. I've been busy theese days. Thanks a lot. DasertDollar payed me in full.

I think this is the way the do business. If I didn't have a freind that gave me your e-mail, DesertDollar get 2.5k. But what about others, who is knew in on-line gambling, who's got no friend and can get no help from others. They are just robbed by casinoes like DesertDollar. That's not good.

-- The friend is the same guy who FL said was part of a Russian Syndicate (with hundreds of members) but he was actually in Canada and was Ukranian originally.

I explained all this when I posted a while ago in this forum about the player having a problem (I mean the player I quoted above who finally got paid) and also sent a private message to VPOPS of FL (or whoever was standing in for him). They had all these emails I'm posting again here. I would like to know why the friend only got his deposits back after over 6 months but this person finally got the winnings and deposit back (she deposited $1000 and cashed out $2502).

Hi!
Yes, you right, he told me that some casinos think he's a part of Russian mafia or so. It's really funny. I know him a little more than 1 year. He's my boyfriend's freind.
No, but I have some freinds that like gambling. I'll tell everyone I know what FL is.
thank you, by.

This is what she originally sent me (the problem was from around August last year but she contacted me in late February):

I'm Olga. Your e-mail gave me a friend of mine. He told me you
helped him to resolve some problems with casinos. Can you help me with
one too. That's a DesertDollarCasino. All information I got from theme:
They are not going to return me any money and my account will not be
open. The rison they gave me that security department is not happy with
my documents. That's all I have. My account: ******* Amount: $
2502

Talk about a derailment...

Sirius, your beginning to look like an ass. You are dealing with scammers, and they are yanking your chain. Got a problem? Take it to eCogra. If you want to make an issue of scumbag fraudsters, post it in an appropriate thread in the approprite forum section.

What are talking about? I replied to this thread because I received an email from the player today saying she finally received her full payment of $2502 after more than six months of not even receiving her deposit of $1000 back.

Are you saying she is a scammer because FL wanted to keep her deposit and winnings (totalling $2502) but later changed their minds? Doesn't that mean she didn't do anything wrong in the first place?

Diamond...size of baseball

hiya everyone,

Sorry if I was not clear on the parting gift. It's a glass diamond that you would put on display or you could use it as a paperweight on your desk. When I said the size of a baseball, I was holding it in my hand and trying to think of something that it equaled it in size. :p

Sounds like a faceted piece of Swarovski crystal - mebbe not a diamond, but still a very elegant gift. Enjoy it, Linda!

Linda, I think you should get a mounting for it and wear it whenever you go to the land based casinos. That'll impress the hell out everyone there!
