Oh, have not heard of that one either.
So what you are saying is, i only need to write four books, and then one of them will be published.
I just hope the money the books bring in will atleast cancel out versus the lawsuits from parents.
Im not in it for the money, i just want kids to know the world sucks.

Really, I was telling my friend about European fairy tales because she is an Aussie and has not a clue and I told her the exact same part about stepsisters trying on the shoe.

She was amazed and scared at the same time and said what kind of evil fairy tales stories they have there :laugh:

My Mum read a book to me called The Little Owl. This was around 1980 and its the only book I remember and one of my earliest memories. Cannot find it anywhere. Dont suppose anyone knows it do they?

Yes, thats the thing I am 99% certain mine was simply called The Little Owl. I think these ones were published later but was thinking of getting for my kids anyway.

Honestly cant remember what exactly happened but something to do with him flying and doing owl stuff. I actually remember the cover and think if i see it i will recognise it and then hoping the story will bring back some memories.

Your not going to believe it but just did a quick search for it under 80's books on google and found it! Ive been searching all these years for the wrong title. Google is so random and i cant believe it but it came up on page 1 and its instantly recognisable and it seems i threw a curveball. Just read a bit of the story and the Owl was called Plop. Im so excited. Its this one!

well if you lost 30k before leaving then you either rich or have a gambling problem. Yes because it's either or. Trust me when I say with a 100% certainty, I do not have a gambling problem. I'm a pretty straight up person, and don't hide jack from anyone. It annoys me to know end when people assume :) I deposit a certain amount each month. Some more , some less. Last month was brutal, so there were just a couple of dinky deposits. Small enough that I had no cash back. Did I go into a panic? Sell all my belongings? Pimped myself out? Chop off my arm and sell it? Sold my ovaries? :laugh:

When you think about it pretty much all these traditional fairytale stories are pretty Grim or should I say Grimm.

A lot feature the same style villain, hero, damsel in distress scenario. It shows you how times have changed. When I was young it was the norm for most kids to have these books like Hansel and Gretel, Snow White, Rumpelstiltskin and so on. Where the villains were depicted as hideously as possible.

Parents in those days obviously didn’t bat an eye at allowing their children access to these books whereas today there is probably a limit as to how scary they can be.

The disturbing thing is the stepsisters self mutilation is quite tame when compared to some of the extremely dark and twisted analysis and versions of Snow White and Little Red Riding Hood. :eek:

I think i remember reading somewhere that their tales were actually not intended for children to read/hear.
Still weird how they were "cleaned up" to become the fairytales we all know.

Hey. It's House Of Jack. Checked a review done by thepogg, and according to them, they do not list where they are licensed anywhere on the page, and wont give out license-number when asked for it. Nor do they provide information about the rtp for their slots.
Review was a bit old, maybe these things have changed?

I've had no problems. I would be the first to say. I read that too, and not sure why that is the case. I can honestly say my rtp has been alot better there.

I have heard the rhyme before, but we do not have a swedish version of it, atleast not that i know of.

Have you worked through what happened in the past with a therapist at all? If not I think I'd take a break from gambling for a while & take care of myself 1st. Gambling can be a cruel master at times & it's even worse if you have other troubles going on as well.

Beyond that why not sign up to a few other casinos & try your luck there? You just might get luckier ;-)

I'm dealing with the past the best way I know how, and that is trying to change Canadian laws for domestic abuse. As it stands right now, its not a criminal act to emotionally or financially abuse your partner, but yet it leaves such devastating effects, that don't just end when you leave. You are systematically broken down, so much that you become emotionally attached. I left, and after I left I was able to look back and see where it effected my behaviour. As it stands right now, I know it made me 100% angry. As far as gambling goes, I ALWAYS used it as a form of entertainment. Never played longer that an hour or so, and VS can attest to that. I'm a high roller because I feel low balling to be very boring. And yes, I play at another casino who has been " nicer" in returns :)
