Finally Closed My Account At Videoslots!

Do you not think comparing VS to an abusive relationship you have had, and then to call them a narcissistic company is reasonable?
That comparison was made after, WAY after your comments. My opinion did not fit the masses. It is a long weekend here, and I am going to enjoy the day, that will include not getting into a pissing match with you. You know what you do, and you know that you are not a "victim", so please give people more credit for being a lot smarter than that.

@Gaz237 is that a joke. You added nothing but uncalled for comments about grammar, live chat etc. Where in all your comments did you offer an opinion. Did I miss it?

But we are used to this from you.

I only replied with the comments after Bebo was rude to me.

Mt first post was my opinion, which others have posted in agreement with. This thread has been started to slate VS, which the OP has continued to do through out. Which again people have commented on. It really is not a good look. Remembers there is rules on Casinomeister for continued abuse towards a Casino.

Simple facts. She played, lost, got the hump and closed her account, And now wants to slate them further.

That's where you are losing all support.

YOU are NOT a VICTIM.

From your posts, you are trying to portray yourself as being a victim of some cult at VS.

It's a big one

$96 I hear

Always with that number. Brings back bad memories for me.
It reminds me of that time i had 96 withdrawals, all pending more than 3 days.
I tried to tell my story in as many threads as possible, but after a while Dunover banned me.
Lucky that was just my decoy account.

You accused VS of manipulating it's players and saying you know it's true because you had a severe abuse relationship, was in the first post in this thread.

So how could it be after my comments.

OK, so battles might be on shitty 10c games and clashes are nearly impossible to win, but they still paid 7k into my bank account, recently, the same day, no question asked - now that's exactly what we want, isn't it? I've always liked you Bebo, and can kind of see where you're coming from, but we cannot be under the impression that we are anything special to VS. There are people spending serious money, I don't think my couple hundred a month warrants special treatment.

Just knowing that when I win, I get paid pronto, makes me happy. Obviously, they cut down on perks, but business decisions must be made sometimes, and I wouldn't take it personally ;)

You do know this thread is not the place for rational thinking lol :p

He really should have taken one of the first two, because Big billy goat Gruff does not play around.
The originals of alot of the famous children books are actually gruesome as hell.
Like how in the original Cinderella, the step sisters take to carving at their feet with knives to make their feet fit in the glass shoe.
Alot more blood and gore back then. =)

"
Well, come along! I've got two spears,
And I'll poke your eyeballs out at your ears;
I've got besides two curling-stones,
And I'll crush you to bits, body and bones.
That was what the big billy goat said. And then he flew at the troll, and poked his eyes out with his horns, and crushed him to bits, body and bones, and tossed him out into the cascade, and after that he went up to the hillside. There the billy goats got so fat they were scarcely able to walk home again. And if the fat hasn't fallen off them, why, they're still fat; and so,

Snip, snap, snout.
This tale's told out.
"

Edit: This is from original Cinderella
"
The two sisters were happy to hear this, for they had pretty feet. With her mother standing by, the older one took the shoe into her bedroom to try it on. She could not get her big toe into it, for the shoe was too small for her. Then her mother gave her a knife and said, "Cut off your toe. When you are queen you will no longer have to go on foot."

The girl cut off her toe, forced her foot into the shoe, swallowed the pain, and went out to the prince. He took her on his horse as his bride and rode away with her. However, they had to ride past the grave, and there, on the hazel tree, sat the two pigeons, crying out:

Rook di goo, rook di goo!
There's blood in the shoe.
The shoe is too tight,
This bride is not right!

Perks should be exactly that. Something that comes with deposits, but the deposits should not have a heavy price on it. I could see if they were 100% match ups, free spins that are set at 20 cents or more, etc. Every day that I'm out here, there is always a few people that have posted " Im grinding away to reach my xp", just so they can join battles that don't pay much. How is that responsible gambling? I deposited $100 and only moved 40 points, and was at 1500xp. All the other "perks" come with how good your play time is. I have seen nothing except the odd wheel that gave me either 2x's, 15 free spins, and when I leveled up to 100.
In the end, everyone is paying more than what they are getting back.

For what it's worth Bebo, I agree with you in as much as a lot of the VS reward set up is a blatant invitation to keep on depositing. The XP threshold etc and the fact they keep your booster almost a week in arrears before it hits your account. There's always something to keep you hanging on.

Before I decided to take a break via Gamstop, I had serious debates with myself as to whether I really wanted to blanket exclude for the very reason of the battles (which I greatly enjoy). It was an aspect of my play I wanted to keep.

The thing is, how many people with a genuine gambling issue will see the battles as a genuine way to make some free money/potentially get out of debt etc. If you're a genuine casual player out for extended play time and the chance of a decent session, I think deposit matches and random free spin or even cash drops would be more beneficial...and I say this as someone who LOVES the battles.

Yeah kids books back in the day were pretty. scary. I had one with stories of goblins and witches when I was about five. Some of the illustrations were so scary. I vaguely remember one story (I might see if I can find it on google actually) it was something to do with a goblin and a poker (and before anybody starts no it wasn’t x rated.) The poker could speak and cursed the goblin or something so he threw it in a pond. In the middle of the night the poker knocked at his door and by then I was so scared I couldn’t read anymore lol. Scarred me for life.

Yeah the original sleeping beauty.

Italian Giambattista Basile’s version of Sleeping Beauty is really dark – the king who finds the girl rapes her while she’s asleep. She later on gives birth (while asleep) and is awoken only because one of the kids sucks out a splinter under her finger which was keeping her asleep. The king later kills his wife (who tried to get him to unknowingly eat the children) to be with Sleeping Beauty.

Just not the sort of tale to tell a class of 4 year old nursery children lol.

There are some new ones that are pretty good tho.
Sure, there is a bit of violence in it, but its so easy to relate.

Uk has so many great panel-shows.

Good for you @bebo67.

I personally never close accounts with any casinos, but can certainly understand why someone would. If I feel my I'm not appreciated as a customer, I just move to another place. But the principle is the same; voting with your wallet.

Like @nutnut pointed out, most of the casinos are basicly the same thing in a different package. These days I personally like to favour those who make some special effort here in the forum, running exclusive promos or are proactively helping players being available to answer questions and help if needed.

VS has certainly changed over the years. Comes with a bigger customerbase I guess. We've all seen this before, a smaller casino gets bigger and loses what made them stand out from the rest. 32 Red immediately comes to mind ...

I hope you'll find another place to enjoy gambling @bebo67

My absolute favourite books as a young child were the brer rabbit books. I was obsessed with this character and learnt at a very early age that this character always got the outcome he wanted but never really hurt anyone along the way.

Whether or not I would of turned out the way I am or not without being so influenced and moulded by this character I don’t know but I certainly applied all his knowledge and traits to real life at a very young age and have done ever since (I gotta be honest). It seemed so rewarding being able to manipulate people into doing what you wanted them to do and have them think at the same time you had done them a favour. Don’t get me wrong there have been times just like Brer Rabbit when there seemed no way out and the game is up but again just like he would I drain my resources and find a way. We are happy go lucky chancers and one thing I can say is life has never been boring.

There is certainly a lot of deep psychology going on in those books beneath the innocent surface. Very clever it really is.

Never heard of that one, so i had to look it up.

"In one tale,
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
constructs a doll out of a lump of tar and dresses it with some clothes . When Br'er Rabbit comes along he addresses the
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
, but receives no response. Br'er Rabbit becomes offended by what he perceives as the Tar-Baby's lack of respect, punches it, and in doing so becomes stuck. The more Br'er Rabbit punches and kicks the tar "baby" out of rage, the more he gets stuck. When Br'er Fox reveals himself, the helpless but cunning Br'er Rabbit pleads, "please, Br'er Fox, don't fling me in dat brier-patch," prompting Fox to do exactly that. Br'er Rabbit was located in this brier patch, described as "small yet bright". As rabbits are at home in thickets, the resourceful Br'er Rabbit uses the thorns and briers to escape "

Now, im not defending Tar-babys behaviour, it was indeed disrespectful not to respond when the Rabbit spoke to it.
But.. i still feel punching what he thought was a baby may have been a bit out of line.
Sure, he technically didnt hurt anyone, but he showed he was willing to punch a baby just because it didnt respond to him.
I hope that you did not adopt this particular trait, and if you did, that you keep your babypunching to a absolute minimum.
:p

All of the old tales have a lesson to be taught. They did use fear as the motivation to install respect and to teach standard values. I agree punching a baby is not good, although hilariously funny in that film The Campaign. It was however a tar doll and the message to me hearing that as a child would have been to answer if being spoken to - The foundation to communication. I wonder how damping down these stories have affected society. Would today's version be about repeatedly talking to the doll in a calm and patient manner until it replies and then if it still ignores and be rude to walk away and let the doll continue to ignore you until you pander to its requests and bad behaviour? I prefer the old school myself. The doll should not have been rude and probably deserved it. This thread has gone way off line but I love the info.

Playing at Videoslots is like being in an abusive relationship with your Chinese food restaurant, or mine anyways...not stereotyping, Honest. They get your order wrong all the time, don't show up until 45 minutes after they said, they can be rude or unaccommodating, and you only get a free chicken fried rice for a $150 order...but damn those egg rolls are good, and they know you will be back!

Haha, Bebo, try Trada casino. There are decent daily spins offers, or you can simply decide to take 25% cashback on each and every deposit you make over the day, and the cashback rolls over if you don't play it all through, so it accumulates should you be unlucky, or all unlocks if you are having a decent session. Not the same provider list as VS, but a decent option all the same.

Today's 'modern, improved' version would have the rabbit ask the tar-baby's preferred pronoun, before discussing feelings

Dont worry, ill rewrite the current stories to be a bit more harsh.

"The ugly duckling"
The duckling was ugly, and as he grew he realized he was only getting uglier while all his brother and sisters that were beautiful already from the start became even more beautiful.
Mom, am i adopted or some shit? Asked the ugly duckling.
You want to know the truth?!?!? You cant handle the truth, yelled the mother, quoting her favorite movie "a few good men".
Years went by, and when fully grown and still looking like crap, the ugly duckling finally found out what he was.
He was a Marabou stork, and despite the name also being a brand of chocolate, there was nothing sweet or good about him.
He had kind of hoped he would turn into a swan, but after some research he had done, he knew deep down that was never going to happen.
Because swans are cute as hell even as ducklings, while he looked like something the cat refused to drag in.
He moved away from his beautiful family, spending the rest of his miserable days among other marabou storks"

And there will be pictures and stuff, kids love pictures.
Also i may have to rename them to avoid copyright strikes.

Thanks! I have been playing at another one that I am happy with. I like the fact that they have built in levels, with nice prizes at the end of each. Daily VIP promotions, plus they give you bonuses if you ask your host. Outside maybe a dozen, all my deposits has lasted me a while. I had an issue with them last year, but nothing like what has been going on here, but the issue was me not understanding and was sorted out.

Im not sure its an addiction problem that drives people to grind away. In all honesty, and I've said it more then once. I can not sit gambling for more than an hour, hour and a half. I start going stir crazy. I was just saying above, that I play at another casino, that outside one incident last year ( my fault) I am quite happy with. I have a host, VIP bonuses daily, A bar that levels up , with a prize at the end of each. Plus bonuses if you are doing crappy. My play time has been great with them. I deposited 10 dollars, and now up to $275. I'm waiting for Trada to get PlayNGo :)
