after 10 tasks, entry to $100.000 all-in.
is not necessary any poker skills. with a $10 dep could be made 10 tasks. the rest is bingo ;)

What a ridiculous video - it shows Rooney scoring a goal near the end, but he's NEVER done that in a World Cup!

This time it will be different though, won't it... ?

KK

Some nations praise/worship their best players. They all get behind the team and there is a real positivity about them going into the world cup.

In England, they call for arguable their best player to get dropped from the team. I think it's this kind of mentality which has held England back over the years. If you make a mistake you will be in the headlines and condemned - just look at how they treated Beckham after his mistake.

I don't live in England but they are the closest home nation to play in this world cup so I hope England do well this time, but it will only happen if the English supports get behind them and stop looking for a scapegoat before a ball has even been kicked.

Rooney is heavily overrated though. He wouldn't make a world 11 team, yet the press keep praising him as though he is world class. He's good. But not that good. I shall still be getting behind the lads though :)

I agree - he might not even make the top 50 world class players. He is still worth having in the team though, maybe all this criticism will make him more determined to prove himself. :)

I sure hope so!

I have learnt over the years that when supporting England to always keep expectations low, and still be disappointed! Hopefully the lack of pressure will help us on the pitch though. If we make it out of the group I will be thrilled!

hahaha, so ture. :)

I always get in the mood for a game then after 20 minutes I'm asking myself why I was expecting entertainment. I do hope they can put in the effort and get some results.

I'm from Northern Ireland and even we beat England.... that was a night to remember.

Germany and Spain all the way. You heard it here first :D

If I bet on football I would go with Germany. I don't bet on football because you can't trigger a free spins bonus round.:D

I love the Germany accent though, but I'm not sure if this is a good reason to support their football team. :D

I can just see the headlines now.

Rooney might be somewhat overrated, and may not have scored in a world cup yet, but what people fail to see is his workrate, he tracks back to help defend when England (or Man United for that matter) don't have possession. Some fans will say a strikers job is to score goals, which it is to a point but football is a team game and he puts a shift in more times than not. Even Paul Scholes has had a dig at him, saying he's past his best, though I think he's said this to try and spur Wayne on.

For me he's definitely still our best player, I just dislike his attitude at times - like when he had his outburst after the game v Algeria in the last world cup in 2010.

What annoys me about England when it comes to tournaments is our media, the newspapers and tv programmes like Panorama, they look for any sort of scandal to report which doesn't do any good, it's like they want them to fail at times, it's peculiar. Like The Mirror this morning, reporting Gary Neville was walking around with a sheet of paper that had England tactics on it, what do they do - of course make it front page news for the world to see!

Anyway, as for the winners, my money's on Brazil, would be seen as a disaster for them at least not to get to the final.

I can just see the headlines now.

LOL...I think you misunderstood me...
I know England will be home in 9 days.
It's a case of 'England doesn't expect.....'

I meant I hope the stadia (which have been rushed to completion) are safe wherever they are and whoever is playing in them.

I say Netherlands, and watch out for a good run from Belgium.....

Brazil are clear favourites though.

Let's hope the stadia are finished OK without any disasters.

I don't usually quote myself but it's nice being right sometimes!!

(Holland thrashed the reigning world champions Spain 5-1 in their opening group game..)

WTG!

Won't hear much from Incrediblestuff and Lotusch who will be celebrating.....in fact Lotusch by now will probably be pronounced 'Lotussschh'

Seems you were right, nice predication! Can you predict how many spins it will take me to get 5 wilds on DoA?

About England who plays tonight, remember this song? Was it really 18 years ago :S

Yes, needs to be reworded:

"3 pussies on my shirt,
48 years of dog-dirt
There's no more silly dreaming,
just frustrated f*cking screamin'

We're going home, were going home'
England's going home"

etc..

This is really going to be an interesting world cup, first Spain DESTROYED by Holland and now Uruguay annihilated by Costa Rica.

Can't wait for England vs Italy!!

Well, KO in one hour, the way these shock results are coming thick and fast, England may even score a goal against Italy!

Well dunover if you predicted costa rica then please send me your tips for rest of tournament . Im going to sound crazy here especially from a Scotsman but I think England will win tonight and also qualify from group.

No, I didn't. Just that Holland will do well, even then I expected nothing like them thrashing Spain 5-1....

LOL..I can just see all the bars in Glasgow with Scots and their Italian flags tonight....

I can just picture Rooney on casinomeister from Brazil making sure we're all supporting him ahead of the big game tonight :)

Correct again!

How nervous are we now about Thursday's game?
I don't think there are the words to describe it.

I thought we played bloody well, Sterling was superb, even Welbeck had a good game. Was annoyed with Rooney wasting a corner.

Play like that v Uruguay we should be ok.

Who thought Sterling's shot in the first 5 mins actually went in? I actually screamed "what a *$£@!^% goal" and woke my brother up who had to be up at 3am, he wasn't impressed!

Right, as I'm nearly doing as well as Paul The Octopus back in Germany 2006, here we go.
Bad results for England. Regardless of our result against Uruguay and assuming Italy beat Costa Rica, we MUST beat CR in the last group game. Unfortunately we can say the same for CR, as they WILL qualify if they beat England, and possibly if they draw if we fail to beat Uruguay by more than one goal and CR aren't thrashed by Italy.
So, we NEED Italy to win all 3 games, and get 9 points. This scenario means it's possible for the old 9-3-3-3 table after all the games, whereby one team can go through with one win if their GD is better.

So my predictions: Italy will beat CR. England will draw with Uruguay. This means we need Italy to beat Uruguay in the last game, and if we beat CR by 2 goals in the last game we go through. I predict we'll beat them by 1.

Well, the USA got off to a good start unlike England with a 2-1 win over Ghana, who were a cheating Luiz Suarez away from getting into the semi-finals last time in 2010 and were fancied as the best African nation. Germany thrashed Portugal, another surprise scoreline.

Today should see straightforward victories for Belgium, Russia and Brazil who are the first to play their second group game tonight.

I love the Germany accent though, but I'm not sure if this is a good reason to support their football team. :D

It's as good a reason as any other. I'm blacking out the World Cup this time around. Can't agree with the way common Brazilians have been treated in all of this. Not watching, covering or betting on a single match.

Anyone notice this in the game last night? Poor guy. :D

Losing your touch Dunover :p

Indeed. Although I did predict Chile to win against Spain, but not on here. Today England will draw with Uruguay, Colombia will beat Ivory Coast and Greece will beat Japan.

I 100% thought it was in, and ran around the pub screaming like a loon!
They I was confused when it wasn't given and was expecting some bizarre refereeing cock-up again. Even when they showed the slow motion reply I STILL thought it was in!

Hopefully tonight any shots he hits WILL go the correct side of the post!

We'll be sharing the plane home with Spain next week. Nevermind. If we lose, then Italy must beat CR tomorrow, and then beat Uruguay in their last match, while we beat CR by a few goals in our last match. There is a slim chance of going through, but if CR and Italy draw, we're out.

It's a shame but I think you're right about England :(

At least we have three weeks or so of quality football still to go. Excited about the Germans and the USA games ahead.

I feel bad for the English, especially for Stevie G. It's been a pretty dreadful last couple of months for him. And how prophetic Greg Dyke's "cut throat" gesture made immediately after the draw proved to be.

England look better as an attacking force. But their forward progress on that front has been outdone by just how badly they have gone backwards defensively. All four goals that England have conceded were very preventable. Players like Balotelli, Pirlo, Suarez and Cavani can kill you in a second. Would those goals been conceded if you had Ashley Cole, John Terry, Sol Campbell and Gary Neville in defence? Not bloody likely. Or at the very least, less bloody likely. Concede two goals in a tournament match and it's very unlikely you will get a draw, let alone a win. A great shame too, because after Rooney finally scored that elusive World Cup goal, it looked like there was only one winner.

They have got great potential for the future with their young attacking players. But that defence desperately needs sorting out or the hard luck stories will continue at Euro 2016.

As an England fan, thank god that's over.

As a football fan in general, surely Suarez must now be banned for a lengthy period, 3rd time he's bitten someone, absolute disgrace to the game.

Imagine having kids see that sort of behaviour on a pitch and think it's acceptable? Madness.

He needs to be banned from international football for at least 1 year, maybe even 2.

OR

He needs to be banned from playing for the rest of this World Cup and also from the next World Cup. At some point, he has to serve a punishment that will finally make him grow up/wise up. 10 games didn't do it. So now it has to be bigger...much bigger.
