I've not been through SOW at Casumo, my account is pending and not submitted docs. Prior to me finding other casinos, Casumo was one of my favs.

As we know, SOW and how its approached is largely dictated by the regulators. Although its a shame I dont play there anymore, you can hardly blame Casumo for dotting the i's and crossing the t's when it comes to regulations. The consequence is potentially millions in fines or stripping of a licence.

If I ran a casino, I would follow those trails until they could not be scrutinised in an audit because that's the only way to avoid a heavy financial penalty.

On the flip side, bamberfishcake casino would be max RTPs all the way baby! And I would advertise the shit out of that fact, watch me clean up the industry, I just need all forum members to donate a €1,000 each to get me us started :)

The reduced contribution for high RTP games term is at a few casinos. It's rare, but not reserved just for Casumo. Some list the games as bonus-excluded or under a reduced contribution list instead.

There are many factors that would contribute to requesting or not requesting SOW on an account and this can of course sometimes be a complicated and tricky process to complete, but that doesn't mean it always is! We have a lot of cases where it's finished quickly and promptly. Do bear in mind as well, that SOW can be, and more often is, requested in conjunction with withholding deposits rather than withdrawals to ensure player safety whilst this is carried out 😊

So, you'll happily hold a deposit to Ransome, rather than blocking it, in the same way, that a deposit limit would?

where do you see safety of players? you block withdraw, and let them play with money they win, and you let them still make deposit when you know they cant withdraw, all you doing wishing players will lose their money well you ignore dealing with sow, casinos like you use sow to scam players, only UKGC casino not hold cashout is Rizk casino...all I wish Casumo get bankrupt from UK

None of this matters to me anyway. I closed my account with you 5-6 years ago and will never open it again. So keep on SOWing players for their "safety" or whatever. :cheers:

To be honest I’m glad this conversation was attached to the promo thread. I was about to give Casumo a go but certainly won’t be doing so now knowing the issues experienced by others. Will head to the other thread now for more details.

I’m a low stakes player with a disposable income well in excess of my gambling budget. My activity should never trigger a SOW request. If I was to get such a request, I simply wouldn’t comply as I’m never going to hand my confidential financial information over to someone not qualified to handle, interpret, and protect my data. And I’ve got zero to hide or be concerned about. But I’ve read many examples of what appear to be trigger happy SOW requests from Casumo therefore it will not be a casino for me.

I definitely understand where you're coming from. Our main goal is for our players to jump straight into having fun, and streamline the parts like SOW as much as we can. We never want to impose anything that would impede that, but we do have responsibilities to meet regulation expectations, which can result in us being required to carry out this process. I can promise that we take the safety of our player's data incredibly seriously if that is your main concern but of course, we want you to feel comfortable to try us out if that time comes, we hope it does!

Due to GDPR I can't check the account or divulge any information for that specific case. I can say however that in my experience the only situation where this would a problem, is if there is a technical issue that might require a statement to pay out the funds manually. As referenced earlier in this thread, in the UK market you have a right to withdraw your cash deposit and any cash winnings from this deposit 😊

since when? I was verified for over 8 months you even cancel my cashout simple coz I refuse to send sow..thats 100% agains UKGC Regulation

I can assure you here at Casumo we're regulated and licensed by the UKGC, and my job here on the forum is to help out with any questions the forum members have or an issue that might need explaining 😁

In some cases, if there is a technical issue with payment, we might need financial information to properly verify the player's correct account. It's an utmost priority that we handle any kind of transfer carefully and accurately and part of that process is confirming we are sending it to a verified bank account in the player's name if a technical issue arises.

It's pretty simple. Bryan gave Casumo a second chance in good faith.

Unfortunately, is seems that he was lied to. Leopards do not change their spots.

If Casumo was the last casino on earth, I would have no trouble quitting gambling in a heartbeat.

As for regulations, some casinos use them as smokescreens in an attempt to justify what is clearly rogue, unethical behaviour.

Casumo won't change their ways. End of.

To anyone dumb enough to deposit money there, all I can say is good luck, because you are going to need it and more than once.

How they're still accredited after all they've done for years to shaft players is mind boggling. But hey, money talks.
UKGC loves casinos like Casumo they are milking their profit, only losers here are the players,
