I haven't been there in quite a while but when I was a regular I mostly lurked in chat at 3Dice, I would say hi and then just watch.

What I always thought was funny was when most of their moderators were there the chat would be medium and fairly calm, but when "Ellen" was moderating the place really came alive and became very active and entertaining.

Don't get me wrong, I liked all the moderators there and the floor manager "Anna" was one of the nicest and most helpful casino employees I ever dealt with.

Ellen was a real gem, whenever I pm'ed her at the end I would tell her she better hurry back to her 'classroom' before the place got too wild. Fun times at 3Dice.

Sorry that some people have not had a good experience in chat. For me personally i haven't seen anything negative but i haven't been using chat long. I do sometimes post im not winning but its all in fun. (IMHO) playing anywhere but RTG suits me just fine. I have noticed where some players say they wouldn't touch RTG with a ten foot pole. Sadly i don't have much of a choice. If i was rating 3 dice overall i would rate them 10 out of 10.(note* this is just my observation and experience not to be confused with saying that i speak for everyone)

YES 3Dice is SO AWESOME! My fiance and I play there and it is one of the few casinos where we make deposits. Our first experience winning on 3Dice was from a free VIP slot tournament. I think you will find chat at 3Dice quite different from that at JPP, at least from what I've seen posted of JPP's chats.

More like a neighbourhood pub, where most people already know each other, but we do our best to be friendly and include newcomers.

There are a lot of games and stuff that only happen in chat, and often if a tourney is added it is announced in chat, so you don't need to keep checking the schedule.

3Dice reps tend to keep a handle on things, and those who can't follow the rules find themselves "redboxed" i.e. banned from chat.

Any Aussies here withdrawn via a Bank Wire there? I withdrew $800 US a few days ago which is around $880 Australian at the moment, but when it got to my bank account it was only $802 Australian. That's about an $80 difference. Very disappointing. How much of a cut do Banks usually take out of these withdrawals? It is with St George.

Edit - Called St George and they say it's not their fault. It's the other bank overseas fault. Apparently more than one bank overseas could be involved in the transaction, and have taken out their fees. God I hate banks.

Withdrawing from 3Dice using any option where there are currency conversions and/or international transfers involved can be pretty painful, early on in my membership at 3Dice (over 18 months ago now) I made a withdrawal to Moneybookers, and from Moneybookers to my bank, and then withdrew the cash from my bank. From a withdrawal of over £300 at 3Dice I ended up with £280 in cash, so around 8% of the withdrawal was lost to various fees.

I raised this with 3Dice Support who said they paid out the full amount to Moneybookers, but everyone then takes their cut out of it and it's completely out of the casino's control. (My bank for example charged £7.50 for 'INTERNATIONAL/CHAPS' just to receive the money from Moneybookers.)

Enzo advised me to set up a Neteller account as it'd eliminate the fees and I'd get my money a lot quicker.

I went ahead and set up the Neteller account and TBH I've never looked back, yes there are still fees involved but nothing like there was with Moneybookers and my bank and all that twaddle. (Neteller charge 1.75% to load the account from my credit card, and I pay a flat £3 fee when I make a withdrawal from an ATM using my NET+ card, other than that transferring money around is completely free, so if I make a withdrawal from one casino and deposit to another for example, there are zero fees involved.)

Specifically pertinent to 3Dice is how quickly they pay to Neteller, I made a withdrawal yesterday at 9:50am and it was in my Neteller account fourteen minutes later at 10:04am, at which point I was able to go over to an ATM and withdraw the cash with my NET+ card

Basically, if you can get a Neteller account, then do so, it's the only way to do it IMO and I wouldn't do 'casino finances' any other way. (Not just 3Dice but everywhere.)

that's good to know. I never reverse a withdrawal without thinking if I am really sure I want to, but even so, most of the time, I do lose it back, lol.

I can't imagine 3Dice stalling in any way, it must be a facet of the difficulties in paying American players.

Their payments to Neteller are generally measured in minutes, sometimes hours, and never days. (I've made many withdrawals from 3Dice over the last couple of years and under 2 hours is the norm.)

If you ask Support what the situation is rena I'm sure they'll tell you the truth, 3Dice are as straight as they come IMO and aren't in the business of slow-paying players.
