As a programmer, I understand statistics pretty well.
So what if it still happens with bets like these?

Also, it's not just the fact that the ball constantly drops just outside the chipped area... it's also the way that it happens.
Here are the two most likely scenarios:
A. Either the ball hits an invisible wall mid-air and suddenly stops dead exactly outside the winning area;
or
B. The ball drops comfortably in a winning area, sometimes with up to four or five winning numbers flanking it on each side. It will then jump out (often after almost a full second of lying perfectly still) and find the nearest unchipped slot.
It's almost never a clean landing.
And... it NEVER happens in your favour. It NEVER jumps out of a losing number into a winning one.
The laws of physics seem oddly picky...
You have a 1 in 6 chance of having a losing spin there...
Also, i'm only talking about FOBT's, as these are the ones i've coded and know about...
I can't really comment on the live roulette games, but i seriously doubt they are rigged...
Bear in mind there are a lot of people betting at the same time right? So what's bad for you is likely good for someone else... in isolation, you might think it's rigged against you, but across all the other players there are likely as many winners as losers.
Roulette is a game about maths - it has a 97.2% RTP... end of. The house always wins.
