EURO 2016

Which reminds me, was gonna have a punt on it but we've just got back from shopping. Might have to send her on a quick errand. I won't say where to, I'll just vaguely direct her near to a bookies and then spring it on her.

She'll love that.

Coral are giving a special price of 10-1 for a Wales win.
Portugal have not impressed me at all and Wales have the momentum and nothing to lose.
2-0 Wales

Because Wales are a much better time when they are playing proper British football, i.e. going forward and attacking rather than sitting back all the time, i think it will be an open game, and as Portugal havent been great, i take Wales to win by a goal, 2-1 or 3-2.

I think Portugal is the favourite so my prediction is a 2-1 for Portugal but boy I really hope Wales will make it to the finals.
Some mediocre players have thrived to higher levels during the tournament - so go go Wales, go go!! :cheerleader::cheerleader:

I have done a Ladbrokes 'Results Rush' (both teams to score and predict winner) on almost every game this Euros, get some cracking odds along the way.

Rare they come in as I always go for the mega long shot underdogs, last close call was the 3-3 draw in the Hungary / Portugal game, 18-1 that day, done in by Mr Slime, bar steward.

Had a great return last English season in the FA Cup by predicting Oxford Utd to beat Swansea in one of the FA Cup rounds.

Decided to stop after a few small but demotivating losses. Missed out of England/Iceland and Belgium/Wales, both would have paid in the hundreds from a £10 stake :(

Would have a go tonight but don't think the odds would be that great now to make it worthwhile and I have my doubts whether Portugal will even score (or at least I hope they don't)

An extremely subdued display by Wales. They looked a shadow of the fearless team we saw play against Belgium and co.

Portugal may have edged it in quality but the difference has been Ronaldo stepping up when needed. I guess this is where big-game experience kicks in, and Portugal are a tournament team also, yet somehow underserving of reaching a final with three dour draws and a win.

But Wales did fantastically well to get to a semi final of a major tournament. England are a million miles off that for at least a generation!

Yeah. I thought Wales matched them in the first half. Their passing was sharp and snappy but in the second they seem to have ran out of steam or ideas.
Well done to them though

HAh you know what.. Porugal lost final in home EURO in 2004, and i guess they will meet France in this year final, and going to win!

Guess, if Portugal face Germany they will have big problems to win the title. They were always in trouble against bundesteam!
With France it will be much more easy to get the championship

Result is really describing game. France deserved to be in home final, Griezmann actually is going to be MVP!
Will be very interesting final

Griezmann is a player of this EURO, but will not be player of the year.. but if only France won the trophy, Antoine will get that too:thumbsup:
Anyway this season was fantastic for him despite of 2 loses in finals

It was a terrible final! The only good part was Eders goal...I was just about falling asleep at 75mins of watching I had to make a coffee..It was like the first match of the tournament :D

yeah, it was bad game. but final in his nature can't be terrible, because of the value and drama of match!

There was quite a few shots on target throughout the game.. I was more excited to see who was gonna get the first goal, didn't expect it to go into ET and definitely didn't expect Portugal to win without Ronaldo :eek2:
