Has any one had an e-mail from olympic casino, I did and it was to sign up and get random bonus, did it and then found account locked, went onto chat and asked why,and was told to send ID.

Asked why and was told these are the regulations in Estonia.

Anyone know of this casino or is it a scam, apologies if they are legit.

This appears to be true, even though it reeks of BS.

The company behind this casino are based in Estonia, where they also run land casinos. They would therefore be bound by the regulations of Estonia.

I am not so convinced of their trustworthiness when it comes to the online casino though. The terms state that "the English version will prevail", yet the English version is a bit of a mess, looks like a machine translation from terms originally in another language. The software is Playtech. This leads me to suspect that the land gaming company might not actually be running the online operation, and that instead it is a bog standard Playtech white label that has licensed the brand name from the Estonian company. If so, it is probably being run from the Philipines, and possibly by Paragon International Customer Care, now wholly owned by Playtech I have been told. There is, however, and alternative to posting your documents to the Philippines, but that is to show them in person at any Olympic land casino in Estonia.

Despite being bound by Estonian regulations, this didn't stop them spamming you with that email:rolleyes:

Thank you for your reply, when on live chat, they told me that I could offer my ID at a casino in Estonia, but living in England, bit too far to travel.

Think I will try somewhere else, supplying ID,is no problem if requesting a cashout, but asking for it before a deposit, well,I would never do that.

Others might not agree, but that is my preference, I know I have given my address, but not going to play there, hope I have not made a mistake?

They give 20euro no deposit few months ago, and some users on russian forum won, and cashout without problem. Yeah, they always ask ID, and you should be 21+ , its regulation in Estonia. Since they had offline casino in Estonia, i believe they ok.

I think the Eastern European countries are their target market, not us here in England. This is why Estonians have a very convenient means of verification, whereas for you it is even more stringent than usual. The terms also suggest that documents are only required where electronic checks can't verify the player. Now, if there is one country where electronic ID verification works well it's the UK, so well in fact that we don't have an ID card system like the rest of Europe. It's all done via the credit reference agencies and the electoral roll. Perhaps it is Estonian electronic verification they mean, not electronic verification in general.

UK players often have draconian restrictions placed on them by Playtech casinos simply for being British, often their WR is double that asked of players from other countries, and further restrictions can be imposed. Playing at a Playtech casino that is not targeting the UK is asking for a hard time unless you don't intend to use the promotional offers.

Only posted a couple of times, but to hear that Kasino King has not heard of olympic casino,I am shocked, was hoping you would tell me more.

Hope this has not come across as bad or anything, also look on your sight as well

The bad English and Playtech logo is enough to put me off, whether or not I have heard of them before;)

It never ceases to amaze me how some people are happy to click a link in a spam email from a place they've never heard of and give them all their personal details.....just for the sake of a few lousy bucks......and then wonder why they suddenly get hundreds of new spam and have their ID stolen.

Know I am only new,But guess you never made any mis-takes when you first started?????
