So then. Here's my list of what I am currently watching, or have watched in this genre- I'm hoping to get some suggestions! (I am a fan of the dry humors.)

Here is what I love: Monty Python's Flying Circus, Fry and Laurie, Brass Eye, The Day Today, QI, Futurama (I guess that one isn't dry...) and The Simpsons. (this one is more slapstick, isn't it?)

My ABSOLUTE favorite thing to watch ever is vintage film of audiences clapping and laughing on endless loop. (That's not so much a show as a creepy hobby, now that I think about it... )

What are you watching? And what would you suggest for Lil'ole me?

Suggestions welcome outside of this (these) particular genre(s) as well!
Thanks! :)

My humour differs and covers many genres, from good old fashioned English slap stick - Carry on films, Benny Hill, Raw British at it`s best - The Inbetweeners, Sex Lives of the Potato Men, Toilet humour - Scary Movies, Hot Shot, Airplane, Naked Gun, Alternative comedy- the Young Ones, Bottom, Filthy, Rich and Catflap, Red Dwarf, Blackadder, Spitting Image, Little Britain, Politically incorrect cartoons - Family Guy, South Park, American Dad, Family comedy - Scrubs, the Simpsons, Futurama, Topical comedy - Have I got News for you, IQ, but by far my favourite is Surreal comedy - Monty Python, Eddie Izzard = comic genius ;).

The funniest line I've ever heard in a film is from Men In Black 2, Ballchinian, the part were the alien is being kicked where mens bits are, your other boy spoke up and said, he's a ballchinian lol lol, laughed my head off at that one.

I also think Peter Kay is hilarious, oh and also Lee Evans.

Here is that clip from Men in Black 2, lol enjoy

Red Dwarf is brilliant.

I'm an absurdist, when it comes to comedy, Eddie Izzard is among my favorite. (COVERED IN BEES!) If you like that kind of silliness check out Eugene Mirman. He. Is. Hilarious.

Eugene Mirman is in a cartoon called 'Bob's Burgers'. You might like it if you're into the whole Family Guy/South Park style of cartoon. Its pretty all star with comedians from the US. :)

Thanks!

Yeah I laughed my head off when I first saw this film, have you ever seen Mrs Browns Boys, I think it's on BBC 1 now, really funny show.
Steptoe and son, the film where old Steptoe pretends to be dead so his son can claim Insurance money is funny.

Steptoe and Son, they don`t make `em like that anymore, Fawlty Towers is great also (they only ever made 12 episodes of that) I find that remarkable due to it`s popularity .

I've Just started to get into inbetweeners myself. I went and saw the movie over Xmas and Laughed my ass off. I love how the lad was giving that old bird the spirit fingers on the dance floor.

The others would be Tosh.O, Big fan of the OLD saturday night live when Tracey Morgan,Jimmy Fallen and Will Farrell where on it, some funny skits there.

I'm a big fan of Will Farrell to be honest, I loved him in Step Brothers and Talledega Nights.

Old stuff would be Hale and Pace and the Young ones I'd say.

A side Note: Did any of you get into shows like Seinfeld and watch an episode now days and think, Ohh, this isn't actually that funny anymore- it even looks a little old and tacky?

They sure don't, I always enjoyed watching Steptoe & Son, watch fawlty towers a few times, Only fools and horses was another good show, the part of Del Boy suited David Jason down to a tee :), lol had typed David Frost, hard to remember all the names lol

I've never seen Steptoe and Son- but I'm lead to believe the US's Sanford and Sons was based on it. Lots of great things to add to my collection of entertaining things! Fawlty towers is amazing, as well- I used to watch both that and Flying Circus on Comedy Central back in the early-mid 90's.

There are some other great comedy acts if you're interest in sketch style comedy: The Whitest Kids I Know, Stella, Upright Citizens Brigade, and of course those wacky Canadians The Kids in the Hall.

Beer and Youtube night here I come! :P

And yes! Keep'em comin!

Sounds a great night, I often watch youtube comedy vids, Live at the Apollo will give you more comedy than you will ever need

I think I've seen every episode of QI. Have you seen "Would I lie to you?" It's a silly panel game where celebrities tell stories that may or may not be true and the other panel tries to decide if they're lying. I found it quite amusing. This is a funny clip from that show.
