Does that mean we can soon see Cartman, Kyle, Kenny and Stan in stoner mode?? And their Canadian heroes, Terrance and Philip..:D

A friend of mine that's a socialworker just posted that article on Facebook as if it was true.
Up here we might not recognize the names in that article, and I missed the comments below the first time I read it:o

I did realize though that something was wrong.
She knows that too now ;)

There are some funny stories on that site

That's the joke - you can't OD on marijuana. You just can't do it. You can fall asleep, but that's about it.

Weed should be treated just like alcohol - taxed, regulated, and prohibited to minors. Colorado is doing the right thing.

The really silly thing is you can OD on alcohol. If you put too much in your system too quick it can kill you.

Alcohol is addictive. A regular intake without moderation can cause a whole list of medical problems over time yet it is still legal.

The only reason one is legal and the other is not is because it's not politically incorrect to drink alcohol.

Just like alcohol, there is a huge market for marijuana in Canada and the US. It's a massive tax source that uneducated anti-drug lobbyists refuse to let the government cash in on.

I don't drink alcohol or smoke marijuana so whether they're legal or not doesn't directly effect me. It just seems silly for us to be spending money chasing people around for using it rather than just decriminalizing it and turning it into a source of income.

Of course there is that minor issue of everyone in the country becoming so mellow that society itself creeps back to a preindustrial state as we all gravitate to the endless weed fields that eventually cover the country side as we prepare for the festival to give thanks to the Goddesses of love and peace and mother Earth herself by smoking the bountiful harvests and engaging in ritualistic group sex.

That and the Bob Marley on an endless loop everywhere you go.

when i was a young teen i tryed it and i thought i was going to die from it :notworthy then any subsequent times i only would try it if i had a few brews in me :D [ im not a officianato on the weed ]:p

and i still think politicians are retarded morally

PS i was never in my life so thirsty i thought my throat was going to stick closed and i wouldent be able to breath
i stayed by the sink drinking water to keep my throat open

I always found it funny that one of the arguments against legalizing marijuana was that it might allow kids to get it. :what:What?:what: Well, excuse me Mr. Legislator, when it's illegal the damn kids are the only ones that can seem to get it! I should know, I was one! Most adults don't want to take the chance so one big dealer would have an army of kids selling it for them.

That is just another example of how 'out of touch' the lawmakers in this Country are.

If it is really about protecting the public from adverse health effects they should outlaw tobacco and alcohol and just have weed available. FTR, after smoking weed for 20 years I gave it up about 15 years ago, cold turkey, with no adverse effects like you would see after going cold turkey from alcohol or tobacco or other drugs.

Forgive me and this maybe a function of my mind but all I see here is 70's porn :lolsign: in betamax of course none of your VHS nonsense

I saw this a couple of days ago, a guy filmed himself manning a gift wrapping stall over the course of a couple of days while he was high on various drugs. I was going to just link the youtube video but it's age restricted so you have to sign in to view it.

I can't believe that nobody realized he was high, it seems really obvious.

I'm all for legalizing it. But I will also point out that these days it does seem that a high amount is being dipped / laced. I can't remember the last time I've seen someone using straight marijuana. Which is an end user thing, and shouldn't matter in terms of legalizing it I guess but it does pose a huge problem.

"Drugs don't kill. People kill."

Awesome!

Well let's make all drugs totally legal. In fact, let's make it socially acceptable for every citizen to own them, and use them at their leisure. At least we'll know that every citizen is safe, since drugs don't kill.

* This has been a community announcement on behalf of the firearms industry and the Bogota Chamber of Commerce

Why do you make it look like the criminals wants a legalisation? That means their profits will plunge. We saw it in the 1930s in the USA, the mafia made millions on prohibition of alcohol. Its the same thing with gambling aswell, i wonder if there are many underground casinos run by the mafia in Las Vegas.. Dangerous things need to be regulated by the governments, not by the underground market where there are no age limits or other restrictions.

And when the comes to the phrase "drugs dont kill". Well we dont have many people dying from opiate ODs in the hospitals, do we? On the street where impurities and unknown strenght is the rule its the other way. Not that im saying all drugs should be sold over the counter at the local 7/11..

Not attempting to spoil the fun here, but just wanted to say that in fact i know someone who definitely overdosed on marijuana...

Not to a lethal effect, but he is less conversational then the average (hemp) plant is nowadays...
And what he says makes less sense... (-imilla) - sorry to throw in the lame puns but hey, that's just me :p

He totally did it to himself, and if i recall correctly our youthful discussions about indeed the harmlessness of various drugs around, especially good 'ole marie jane, might have tipped his curiosity - or urge to prove me wrong, just over the edge of sanity...

Anyway, carry on:D

well it might put down the mexican influx of it [weed] enough and put the cartel out of bisness on that product .

do you think they will attack
