Okey, I have a question.

I use Betsson at the moment. My deposits are marked "Ticket-surf-int" in my bank account. I use VISA credit card to deposit.

I used Centrebet last year, and my deposits was marked "www.invoicent.com". Also with VISA credit card .

My question: Are these transactions marked with the Merchant Category Code 7995 (MCC 7995), or are the casinos avoiding this by using "ticket-surf-int", "invoicent" or other ?

When I get similar charges on my Netspend, I have looked them up... When the charges are 'pending' and 'posted' they often are in categories such as "Home Furnishings" or "Direct Marketing" and have a similar coding... But upon inspection of the merchants, via the CS phone line, when I have inquired about the charges, (one I didn't remember by name) the CS rep would put me on hold and then come back to the line to say, "Sir, these appear to be gambling charges...", so I think its pretty obvious quite quickly what processors are doing what type of sales...

"Home Furnishings" :D

I am just wondering, because it`s agains the law in Norway for a bank to allow credit card transfers to Merchants who are registereds with code 7995, wich are the code for "gambling". But there is no problem for me to use my credit card for transferring to Betsson, Centrebet etc.

Yeah..New Jersey, where Tony Sopranos lives. My favorite tv-show :D

Anyway, I have asked (by e-mail) 4 casinos if my transactions from Norway is marked with the merchant category code 7995. 3 of the casinos did reply, but they did not give me an answer. Centrebet did not reply.
