Hi,

In case you didn't know, paste&pay has changed their daily limits to 2 per 24 hour period. It was 4 per 24 hour period. They also have a 10 per week limit.

So somehow, I do not know, they managed to "let" me go over the "10 per week" by about 5 purchases. This has pretty much castrated my depositing option for the time being.

I wrote to them, asking when I will be able to use their service again. They answered with, "we have no other upgrades available"..... basically telling me nothing. I was hoping the would say... "October 28th" or whatever. So, I have no idea when I can go back, short of trying it every day.

I have a prepaid debit card that I was saving for times like this.

Upon looking at my account for the prepaid, after using it 3 times, I must say........ there has to be a better way.

Each transaction has a percentage fee, a international fee and a currency exchange fee. Mind you, this does NOT include the "load card" fee.

My last deposit of $33.00 actually cost me, all fees included:

$41.11

Again,

There has got to be a better way!

That's just it, I think the casinos have to pay a fee for our deposits also.

They are raking it in.

Another hard part is, if you want to play at more that 2 sites in a 24 hour period, or deposit more than 2 times in a day, with p&p you can't do that.

But, I have heard you can get one voucher for more money and split it into more than one deposit. I haven't tried that though.

You can say that again. We get hit on every deposit and every withdrawal to an extreme percentages on some payment methods.

The problem is that players rarely see this, so choose a deposit method that they find easiest. In some cases, players think they are doing the casino a favour by doing something such as reversing 2 small withdrawals and requesting the sum again as one big one, only to find that the casino takes offence at this and in a worst case scenario even confiscates the sum for "abuse of process".

As a player, I feel that credit cards must be the most expensive deposit method of all for casinos, as it's the only payment method that is routinely surcharged when paying for things like holidays, council tax, car tax, etc. It tells us that regular retail merchants and government departments are prepared to absorb the processing costs of all other payment methods except credit cards.

Of course, if this is wrong, players may feel that by avoiding the use of bank cards, and instead using something like one of the eWallets, or even things like UKash, they are doing the casino a favour by saving them the huge fees taken by the card issuers, but in actual fact are costing the casino far more money, which in turn leads to less generous promotions.

A few casinos have tried to promote certain deposit methods by adding an extra perk, usually a bonus, to every deposit. For a long time, it was possible to get 15% extra at Vegas partner Lounge casinos just for using Neteller or Skrill.

The other thing that costs casinos is the fear of leaving money in a casino for a couple of days where there is every intention to play on it again. Of course, casinos too are often guilty of rewarding players for withdrawing as soon as they have finished WR on a bonus, and some RTG casinos will PUNISH players who "play on" rather than withdraw as soon as WR has been met. These players are told that they should have withdrawn to "end the contract" and then immediately redeposited in order to carry on playing.

Habituating players to the concept that they "must" withdraw to "mark the end of a contract" with a bonus, is one way to develop the habit of routinely withdrawing at the end of every session, even if this means redepositing the next day.

Perhaps casinos should reward players for leaving money on account overnight, rather than withdrawing and redepositing. Those players that intend to play the next day may decide to enhance their prospects by leaving the money in overnight. The reward could be something like extra loyalty points based on the potential saving in processing fees by the casino, or maybe entry into a draw, one ticket per set amount left in overnight, and drawn at the end of the week or month.

wow
thats robbery too much there
last deposit that i have made using a pre-paid debit card, depositing directly to a casino account, a deposit of Euro 40 as costed in total (including exchange fees eur, 41,50) deposit was a bit more than than $50 +/-

Deposit fees, withdrawal fees & converting fees... when playing online casinos & using Moneybookers or other method. :(

I often notice that money "disappear" when depositing or withdrawing.

Thank you Weesie,

I ran into this new ruling with Paste and Pay quite by accident a couple days ago, when they refused my request. In big red letters they said I had gone over 2 per day that day. Actually I had only made one request, so what time of day they use is questionable too.

I wondered at the time what I had done wrong---what was I guilty of that they constricted my account. So---I am at least glad that it is them and not me.

Would you mind sharing with us Igor, which payment methods charge you the casino the biggest fees (and how much roughly)?

I have read that a person can buy one bigger voucher with paste&pay and use it a few times with smaller deposits.

If anyone has done this, I would like to know if it works.

I haven't tried it yet.

Yes, their deposits can be split. I accidently left $2.00 behind one time when I entered the wrong amount into the casino. It is still there and could be used except that no one takes less than a $10.00 deposit.

This morning they have denied my use of their account again, saying that I have exceeded my limits--no explanation of what limits-----Bah Humbug!!

I may try that next time if they EVER let me use them again.

I did a rough count and came up with about 15 transactions in a prior weeks time.......... How did they let me get that far above the limit? Got me. But, then too, I didn't know about the 10 per week rule either.

I haven't even tried it again and won't until Friday, Nov. 1. We will see then.

I think it must be a new rule because I never came across it before either.

I don't see where they ever notified me of the change either!!!

I wonder what their problem is?

I did try again and this time it went through with no problems. So maybe the hangup was them.

This is the reply that I got from Paste and Pay when I e-mailed them regarding my withdrawals.

"Good day,

You are able to purchase two vouchers per day to the maximum value of $500. Once the two vouchers have been purchased, a full 24 hour period needs to pass before you will be able to purchase again.

Our limits have been adjusted to this effective 22 October however we can confirm that it is across the board and not your account specifically

Regards,

The Support Team"

It seems everyone is trying to make things difficult these days!!!

Im sure its there to lighten the load on the processors. And to stop so many usa transactions of small amounts. Just make 1 big deposit and be done with it....

I hesitate to say anything unless I jinx myself but I had used my 2 vouchers yesterday and still had about 5 hours left on the clock until I could use them again...so I went to a another casino (same group) and it let me use two vouchers there also. So you might try something like that next time. Oh, and I played both vouchers without a hit one. Sucked it out of my bankroll faster than you can say WTH! Sigh.

I need a "melted to the floor sobbing" Emoticon.
