i'm too ashamed of myself to call this a winner screenshot

(and given my history with Casino Solitaire, it's more of a "losses partially paired screenshot)

hehe.....nice going!

that's my usual bet.....but sometimes after a long dry-spell I jack it up to teach that casino a lesson!!!

Make sure you dont get a spanking for that.

lol I love that Money Farm Scratcher. The animals are cute and I like the way the farmer shakes his head with his tongue hanging out. Forgive me. I'm sick and degenerate too.

But anyway, regarding the solitaire. What's up with the change they made to it? At first they had 3-card and 1-card solitaire. Then they lowered the pay on the 3-card version to 40-cents instead of 50. And Intercasino even took it off the board, only offering 1-card.

Why would this happen? Are there players skilled enough to beat solitaire?

If so, tell me where I can learn to do that. I'd love to sit here all day, unshaven and not seeing the sun for days, playing solitaire for the rent.

Seriously, why did they downgrade the pay schedule or take the 3-card version offline?

Paul1, please refer to the "Taking A Break From Gambling" thread two below this one... :D

Perhaps I should take a break. Is this all life is about? Isn't there any meaning to life besides gambling? Maybe a more spiritual outlook? Perhaps I'll try going to church.

I hear they got bingo.

Hiya Paul!! I just saw this. You betcha I'm rooting for him. I knew you would be too. I haven't forgotten the great discussion we had in that other horse thread, in particular we both mentioned how upsetting it was when these beautiful animals broke down.

Sorry guys, thread back on topic now, lol...

Thanks for the shameless plug!
(I'll have to decide how many Kasino Kredits that's worth! ;) )

Is that the 'Draw one' version?
I can't understand how anyone could ever clear the board with that as I believe you only get to go through the deck once, don't you?

I much prefer the "draw one" version as it's much easier to keep track of the cards. I have no idea which version has better odds though I suspect it's the "draw three' version since not all cryptos offer that one.

I try to stay focused while playing this, but I still make the occasional bonehead play and leave a lot of cash on the table.

I'm confused.. tennis, did you just win $26,000 on Solitaire?

I am sure such a win should prompt more celebration and "OMGWTF" type comments than it has.

Am I missing something? :)

lol......nope.....just $260......solitaire pays 5-1 to clear the board and the highest bet allowed on crypto seems to be $52 (or 52 pounds would be higher of course)

best to do a little reading before gambling on this game as there is some skill involved. i'd put up a good link for this but it would seem spammy.

I have posted about this maybe once or twice here, but I don't remember getting any replies. That's ok, I'm used to being ignored. :D

But it was probably about five months or so ago. Cryptos did an upgrade/downgrade. All of them seemed to have both the 1-card and 3-card versions, and they both paid 5-1. All of a sudden, they downgraded the 3-card version to 4-1, and I know at least Intercasino took the 3-card version off the board.

I have read some articles about strategy. I was asking earlier about these changes at Crypto and whether anyone thought it was possible to beat the game, maybe at the 3-card version with the old 5-1 pay table. If not, then why the sudden downgrade? Just wondering. I'm not quitting my day job.
